(#62, The Wonderful Numbers of Sacred Canon)

"Those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over the his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.  They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb...." - Rev. 15:2-3


The Song of Moses is recorded in Exodus 15:1-18 (also, Ex. 14:31; Deut. 31:30-32:43); followed immediately by the Song of the prophetess Miriam, the sister of Aaron, Moses' brother, in Exodus 15:20-21 - both exulting in their deliverance from Pharaoh's chariots of war.  The Song of the Lamb is connected to the Song of Moses by the conjunction "and" (Greek:  kai) which clearly separates it from the Song of Moses; however, as New Testament theologian Grant R. Osborne suggests:

Therefore, the καί is most likely epexegetical ("that is"), and the genitive is objective.  Thus, I translate, "the song of Moses, that is, the song about the Lamb."  This means that the victory being celebrated was won by the Lamb, in keeping with 12:11"They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb."  The emphasis on the Lamb highlights Jesus' paschal sacrifice of his blood for the redemption of the nations.  (Revelation, Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament, Grant R. Osborne, Baker Academic, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 2006, p. 564).

Notwithstanding the effort to exegete the passage whereby the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb are somehow connected - which they most definitely are - we must take into account the pronounced distinction which is, at the same time, wholly linked together as a singular expression.  A thorough exegesis done by Osborne, has, nevertheless, omitted the most salient emphasis:  Israel and the Church (i.e., the so-called Tribulation Saints) are exultant over their initial deliverance and victory over (1) "the Beast" (political Babylon); (2) "over his image" (apostate-religious Babylon); and (3) "his mark" (commercial Babylon).

When we more closely examine just what they "sing" in Revelation 15:3-4, it appears as a truncated version of Moses' triumphant and exhaustive rendition and, insofar as the Song of the Lamb concerns, we can't find it anywhere in Scripture - unless we consider Revelation 5:8-10 the Lamb's Song....

The twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.  And they sang a new song, saying:  'You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God, and we shall reign on the earth.' (Revelation 5:8-10)

Song of Moses - Song of the Lamb: 

Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty!  Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!  Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?  For You alone are holy, for all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your judgments have been manifested. (Rev. 15:3-4)

No, something much more profound is going on here - for again, the "Song of Moses" and the "Song of the Lamb" symbolize, or as Revelation 1:1 declares:  SIGN-I-FIED (signify), something of incredible worth.

They are standing on the "sea of glass, having harps of God" - therefore, is this glorious scene a heavenly one prior to the pouring out of the Wrath of the Lamb and the subsequent seven vials/bowls of the Wrath of God found in Revelation 16 ("for Your judgments have been manifested.").  The scene in Revelation 15 is a prelude to the bowls of judgment - it is anticipatory of Babylon's total destruction - her political, religious and commercial trident - for Israel and the Church constitute the Holy City, Jerusalem from whence the four Alleluias are derived from this "great multitude in heaven" (Revelation 19:1 - "a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven").  They are heard as the smoke of Babylon's judgment ascends:

'Alleluia!  Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!  For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.'  And again they said, 'Alleluia!  Her smoke rises up forever and ever!' And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, 'Amen!  Alleluia!'  Then a voice came from the throne, saying, 'Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!'  And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying 'Alleluia!  For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

Please notice that three bursts of these Alleluia (the Greek word ἀλληλούϊα (allēluia) or Hallelujah (Hebrew) are derived from the "great multitude" in that vengeance has been taken upon Great Babylon on behalf of the "blood of His servants shed by her."  The recorded fact that this great multitude does this thrice seems to indicate that the tripartite nature of Babylon the Great may be in view:  The judgment of Apostate-Religious Babylon as seen in Revelation 17; the judgment of Commercial Babylon as seen in Revelation 18; and the judgment of Political-Military Babylon as seen in Revelation 19

Furthermore, the finality of Babylon's Political-Military judgment in Revelation 19:17-21 relates to the three-fold victory over that Great City by them who had gotten the victory over (1) "the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence" - i.e., Political Babylon; (2) "by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast" - i.e., Commercial Babylon; and (3) "and those who worshiped his image" - i.e., Apostate-Religious Babylon (Revelation 19:20).

Undoubtedly, this is the same "great multitude" seen in Revelation 7:9-17...

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!' ... Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, 'Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?'  And I said to him, 'Sir, you know.'  So he said to me, 'These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.  Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple.  And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.' 

Yes, this same great multitude is comprised of Israel and the Church.  What receives proprietary connectivity here is this:

After these things (i.e., after the singing of the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb) these words are heard:

I looked and behold, the sanctuary of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened...and out of the sanctuary (i.e., the innermost sanctuary) came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen...Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed. (Rev., 15:5-8, excerpts).

In other words, the judgment of Babylon the Great cannot take place until the victory over the worship of his image, his mark and the very Beast and False Prophet have been wrought - i.e., there will be no Hallelujahs, no Song of Moses (deliverance) and no Song of the Lamb (for deliverance is through Messiah's shed blood), until the VICTORY OF THE SAINTS has been wrought over this tripartite trident - this terminal troika!

Moreover, the three distinct Hallelujahs/Alleluias which burst forth at Babylon's demise embrace the Hallelujah/Alleluia of the 24 Elders (Rev. 19:4) who this author affirms are wholly representative of both Israel (the Song of Moses) and the Church (the Song of the Lamb).  And, like the singleness but distinctiveness of Israel and the Church the 12 Patriarchs of Israel and the 12 Apostles of the Lamb maintain their singleness but distinctiveness in that the names of the 12 tribes of Israel (the 12 Patriarchs of Israel) are over the gates of the New Jerusalem and the names of the 12 Apostles of the Lamb (i.e., the Church) are upon the 12 foundations of the one Holy City (Revelation 21:12-15).

Brethren - it is mandatory that we perceive the Eternal Plan and Purpose of the Almighty in this very fashion.  I am disheartened that my pre-tribulational brethren dispense with the Church's persevering witness and testimony in this scene of this "great multitude" who have come out of Great Tribulation and have "washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" (Yet they are not members of His Church?) - AND - I am likewise despondent over those brethren who wholly dispense with Israel's essential presence during Daniel's final Week - dispensing with the week altogether in order to obfuscate Israel's climactic role in the end-time scenario.  The one removes the Church from her finest hour leaving Israel to do battle with the forces of darkness manifested in tripartite Babylon and the other declares the Church's prevailing witness unto the end leaving Israel forsaken and desolate without any inheritance - WHO WILL DECLARE THAT WHAT IS IN VIEW IS THE SONG OF MOSES AND THE SONG OF THE LAMB?  Is it not they - Israel and the Church - who have come out of Great Tribulation?  Is it not they who can alone corporately sing such a singularity with awesome distinction - for is it not they who shall comprise the 12 gates of the Holy City and her 12 foundations - the Lamb's Bride?

Yes, the same "Song of Moses" and the "Song of the Lamb" is seen, if you would, in Revelation 12:11, 17 where we read:

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death...And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God (i.e., Israel?) and have the testimony of Jesus (i.e., the Church?) (Revelation 12:11, 17).


Can we see the Song of Moses in keeping the commandments of God AND the Song of the Lamb by them who have the testimony of Jesus?  Perhaps if we cannot see such a duality of purpose in Israel and the Church in concert - both present during Earth's foremost prophetic conclusion - in mutual struggle with him who is the more enraged during the Seventieth Week...could it be that we simply do not wish to see it?  But why would we resist such an overt expression of the preparation of the one Bride of Messiah - and, resoundingly NO, there is not the "Wife of Jehovah" (Israel) and the Bride of Christ/Messiah (the Church) - NO, NO, NO - there is but one Bride who bears the marks of Israel and the Church:

I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband...'Come, I will show you the WOMAN, THE LAMB'S BRIDE.'  And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the HOLY CITY, JERUSALEM, descending out of heaven from God...also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the NAMES OF THE TWELVE TRIBES OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL...Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the NAMES OF THE TWELVE APOSTLES OF THE LAMB. (Revelation 21:2, 9-10, 12, 14 - caps. my emphasis)

How many "brides" do we have in view?  ONE - God is NOT a polygamist!  The Father wants one Bride for the Son - to suggest otherwise is a gross violation of the Divine Intent no matter how it may appear to "clarify" issues regarding Israel and the Church in their singular but distinctive roles:  Israel as a witness and testimony to Gentile World Powers upon the earth (as "prophetic Israel" in unbelief) and the Church to heavenly principalities and powers, the so-called "spiritual powers of wickedness" in high places (even though she be vexed with tares among the wheat).

A Closer Look at the Divine Intent through Expressions Which Signify Israel and the Church in Revelation

We have affirmed on numerous occasions that the TWO WITNESSES of Revelation 11 constitute Israel (the TWO OLIVE TREES or OLIVES) and the Church (the TWO LAMPSTANDS).  These two witnesses are seen in Revelation 15 singing the Song of Moses (Israel) and the Song of the Lamb (the Church) - in each citing there is the clear juxtaposition to the Beast who after "they finish their testimony, the Beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them" (Revelation 11:6) and, similarly in Revelation 15:2 - "Those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass...they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb."
There mutual persecution and struggle as a result of their witness and testimony is altogether parallel - their ultimate deliverance via the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb is rapturously declared in Revelation 11:12, along with the subsequent pouring out of the seven vials of the Wrath of God undoubtedly in view for we read:
Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.  And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, 'Come up here.'  And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.  In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell.  In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.  (Revelation 11:11-13)


The three-and-a-half days are expressed in a most peculiar fashion - why 3.5 days?  Precisely alluding to the 42 months previously mentioned in Revelation 11:2 wherein it states that the Holy City would be trodden underfoot by the compromisers who occupy the Court of the Gentiles for forty-two months (viz., would-be worshipers from among the Gentiles interested in the Jewish religion but refusing to subject themselves to the immediate and painful rite of circumcision were allowed to enter the Court of the Gentiles but not allowed to sacrifice at the Altar).  It would be wholly incongruous for this time frame (42 months) to be the same time frame wherein the two witnesses give their prevailing testimony for one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth (Revelation 11:3)...the two time frames are completely separate and comprise the full 2,520 days of Daniel's Seventieth Week demarcated in the middle of the week by the Abomination of Desolation (Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11) - the infamous Transgression of Desolation (Daniel 8:13).  The initial 1,260 days viewed as the prevailing witness of the two and the latter half, or Great Tribulation, the 42 months or 3.5 days of "open persecution" of the Two Prophets.
The obvious signs seen in the "great earthquake" - "a tenth of the city fell" and "seven thousand people were killed" are simply that:  SIGNS of the judgment upon those that "dwell on the earth."  One-tenth connotes judgment upon the "10" as in "Ten Kings" or "Ten Horns" of the Beast and the Beast Kingdom and "seven thousand" bespeaks of God's complete judgment upon these same "earthlings."  The "great earthquake" which befalls humankind after the resurrection and rapture of the two witnesses is the very earthquake spoken of throughout the Revelation (Rev. 6:12; 8:5; 11:19; 16:18 - mentioned seven times in these passages and twice in Revelation 11:13 - to draw attention to the "complete" and "perfect" judgment of the Almighty and seen as the final 30-days between the 1,260th and 1,290th day as the Wrath of the Lamb - cf. Daniel 12:11).
Now, just as L.A. Marzulli's text, On the Trail of the Nephilim (a great read I hasten to add), we are on the trail of the Two Witnesses:  Israel and the Church....
Signs in Revelation of Israel and the Church 
Let's consider in light of Rev. 1:1 that these apocalyptic revelations are given to John via SIGNS (signified it by His angel to His servant John).  The Greek word for "signified" is, as the late Ray Steadman contends, given to John via SIGN-I-FIED...given via SIGNS); therefore, it is mandatory to be DECODED...and to do this we need the entire Scripture to bear upon the interpretation - please notice the "dualities" depicting, I believe, the WITNESS (seen in the number "2") of both Israel and the Church...we will occasionally pause to develop some of these merging dualities...
(1) Rev. 1:2, 9 - "...bore witness to (1) the word of Godand to the (2) testimony of Jesus Christ - "the word of God" at the time of John's writing was primarily the Hebrew Scriptures - the "testimony of Jesus Christ" is, of course, the future Christian Scriptures and the very personhood of the Messiah - all New Testament in this sense.
The 24/7 Band - The "288" 
(2)  The presentation of the 24 elders as representative of Israel and the Church - much debate here; however, these we affirm are not the 24 courses of the Israelite priesthood mentioned in I Chronicles 24:7-18 in that they are within this context the Revelation and seen as the 12 patriarchs of Israel whose names are over the 12 gates of the Holy City and the names of the 12 Apostles of the Lamb whose names bedeck the 12 foundations of the Holy City (hidden in Christ before the foundations of the earth)... Rev. 21:8-11, 14, etc.  
If anything, Israel and the Church can be illustrated in the "288" (i.e., two sets of "144" as found in Rev. 7 and Rev. 14 or 288/2 = 144) from I Chronicles 25:7:  "So the number of them, with their brethren who were instructed in the songs of the LORD, all who were skillful, was two hundred and eighty-eight."


These singers and musicians chosen by David and his military captains were selected specifically from the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun "who should prophesy with harps, stringed instruments, and cymbals" (I Chron. 25:1).  They were the "24/7" band of singers and instrumentalists who for 24 hours per day did not cease praising the Lord each and every week of the year - these were the PROPHETIC MUSICIANS which we so desperately need today!
Yes, 12 per each of the 24 groups or 12 X 24 = 288 / 2 = 144 for the "evening" there were 12 groups and for the "morning" there were 12 groups - each "day" being divided by the 12-hour "evening" and the 12-hour "morning" in accordance with Genesis 1:5
Furthermore, the 24 Elders are purposefully inserted between the second and fourth Alleluias as the third Alleluia expressed by the "great multitude" who, we affirm, have come out of the Great Tribulation AND are immediately destined, after their Alleluias to qualify for the MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB:  "Alleluia!  For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!  Let us (the Great Multitude) be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready" (Revelation 19:6-7).  Please make careful note that the "Marriage of the Lamb" is intimately connected to those who cry out Alleluia for the Almighty has meted out His Judgments upon Great Babylon on their behalf!  It is their (Israel and the Church as the Bride) marriage to the Lamb - those who've gotten the victory over the Beast (from Adam to the conclusion of the 70th Week of Daniel's prophecy), his image and his mark - who have come out of Great Tribulation - who have with a loud voice of a Great Multitude shouted out their Alleluias with the 24 Elders over the destruction of Babylon the Great - THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED TO THE LAMB - THEY ARE THE LAMB'S WOMAN, BRIDE, WIFE!

It must be kept in view here, regarding the 24 courses equating to Israel and the Church that there are 24 hours in any given day (evening and morning) and that 24 hours X 60 minutes (one hour) is equal to 1,440 minutes and that 1,440 minutes X 60 seconds (one minute) is equal to 86,400 seconds per any given day and that this is a reflection/resemblance/fractal of the sun's diameter of 864,000 miles or 864 is equal to 864.  However, each "half" of a day or the evening or morning is equal to 43,200 seconds or the radius of the sun's 432,000 miles; therefore, the sun's radius of 432,000 miles X 2 = 864,000 miles - ipso facto you cannot have the fullness of the sun without both of the radii - you need ISRAEL (432) and the CHURCH (432) to express the Holy City wherein the Lamb is the Light thereof (864), for the New Jerusalem has no need of the sun (Rev. 21:23), for He is the Sun of Righteousness Who clothes the Woman of Revelation 12 - She is destined to be His singular Bride for she is clothed with the Sun's righteousness!
Finally, the 24/7 worship continued each of the 12 months of the 360-day prophetic year.  Think of it - each month of the 24/7 could be viewed as 86,400 seconds (one day) X 30 days in each prophetic month would be equal to 2,592,000 seconds - which is an unmistakable expression of the Great Precessional of the Equinoxes and their 25,920 years.  Indeed, is this not the GARLAND which crowns the Woman of Revelation 12?  Absolutely - she is full of the praise and worship of the SONGS OF THE LORD - she is the WARRIOR BRIDE-TO-BE of the Almighty, crowned with the 12 Constellations of the Mazzaroth - she is Israel and the Church and she is CLOTHED WITH THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS - she is destined to SHINE, SHINE, SHINE - she must prophesy - for are not her beams His "prophetic light show?"  To shine means to express the Light of Life - she is His PROPHETIC WITNESS, if you would, HIS PROPHETIC LIGHT SHOW.  
Light must be expressed - she illuminates the darkness - she causes the Moon to be exposed by her reflective light for the Moon's diameter is 2,160 miles and if cubed, as is the New Jerusalem, then 2,160 miles X 4 edges of a cube (the squaring of the Moon's circle) is equal to a 8,640 mile-perimeter of the Moon's square and, thus, the Moon bears witness to her reflective Light for beneath her feet is the Moon in that the 8,640 perimeter of the Moon's cube is the fractal of the 864,000 mile diameter of the sun.
But we are transfixed upon these 288 singers and musicians for they are engaged in "prophetic warfare" - chosen by King David and his captains of war!  They are seen, if you would, in Revelation 15 singing the Song of Moses, the servant of God and the Song of the Lamb - two groups of 144,000 or the "288" who 24/7 cease not to wage war against His foe!  They have gotten the VICTORY OVER THE BEAST, OVER HIS IMAGE AND OVER HIS MARK AND OVER THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME (666)....Revelation 15:2 and they're singing the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb ... DO WE SEE IT?  DO WE HEAR IT?
The Tabernacle of David


Who were the three components chosen to sing THE SONGS OF THE LORD?  They were the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun.  Asaph means to gather together, the collector (Strong's 622-3); Heman means "faithful" and even "the God of the Amen"..."the God Who always accomplishes what He says" (Strong's 1968 and 539 (12)); Jeduthun means laudatory with praise to Yahweh with its root being Yadah meaning to "give thanks, laud, praise" (Strong's 3038 and 3034).  
There you have it - when we are gathered together by brethren who are faithful because He is faithful unto the end, then there will be laudatory praise and worship of Yahweh!   This is the true TABERNACLE OF DAVID where 24/7 praise and worship is accomplished - can we see it?  
And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:  'After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up.  So that the rest of mankind may seek the LORD, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the LORD who does all these things.' (Acts 15:15-17; Amos 9:11-12)
Think not that the Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb are disassociated from the Tabernacle of David wherein 24/7 worship took place - for he brought the Ark of the Covenant into the Tabernacle of David, into the City of David, where it abode 33 years (1 Chr 16:3723:525:6-7II Sam 5:5).  Wow! Why can't we see that Messiah who gave His all at 33 years of age cannot be seen in the Tabernacle of David?  
Within the Tabernacle of David, this lowly tent, a new order of worship was instituted for some 33 years until Solomon's Temple was erected - no other form of worship was like it until the restoration of the Tabernacle of David spoken of by Amos the prophet.  From the tribe of Levi, David appointed thousands of singers and musicians who ministered day and night to the Lord. Twenty-four hours a day, 7 days a week, 30 days a month, 360 days a prophetic year - they ministered, and this continued for 33 years.  Augmenting these muscians were scores of singers and trumpeteers along with Chenaniah, the music master with the singers (I Chronicles 15:16-29).  No wonder Chenaniah, the chief Levite, meant to "plant a vineyard" - for "with joy...captains over thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of raising the voice with RESOUNDING JOY" (I Chronicles 15:25, 16).


The tabernacle of David was a tent, just like the tabernacle of Moses, erected to serve as a place of worship. But while the tabernacle of Moses remained at Gibeon, with all the articles of furniture (except the Ark of the Covenant itself), the tabernacle of David was on Mount Zion [Note:  The City of David]. It had none of the other furniture - only the Ark. And unlike Moses' tabernacle, it did not have three compartments - the Outer Court, the Holy Place and the Holiest of All (where the Ark was supposed to be placed). It had only one compartment, the Holiest of All! Yet people flowed in and out of David's tabernacle around the clock to worship before the Lord (2 Sam. 6:1-231 Chr.13:1-1415:1-16:43). 

The Ark of the Covenant had been removed from the Tabernacle of Moses many years previously. When Israel was losing in a battle with the Philistines, they had brought the Ark from the Tabernacle into their midst, believing, superstitiously, that its presence would give them victory. However, they were miserably defeated and the Ark was taken captive into Philistine territory and put into the temple of Dagon. The Philistines, however, soon sent it back into the land of Israel because of the judgments that began to come upon them. It ended up in a house in the border town of Kiriath Jearim, and remained there for 20 years, until David became king of all Israel. Read the full account in (1 Sam 4 to 7).  (Source:  Talk Jesus)
Are we experiencing the TABERNACLE OF DAVID?  Where is the unhindered access into the Holy of Holies, the Sanctuary where the Ark abides?  "Through the blood of the Everlasting Covenant"...for the veil of the Temple has been torn and with boldness we may now enter in!  Are we rejoicing 24/7 before the Lord, singing THE SONGS OF THE LORD - that's what we eventually see in Revelation 15!  Spiritual warfare is the lot of the Warrior Bride-to-be of the Lamb - the Dragon desperately tried to kill the Manchild who was taken up after His incarnation and ascension into the heavens - but now, knowing he has but a short time, he will "make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus" (Revelation 12:17).  The day comes when those so persecuted shall sing the Song of Moses, the servant of God and the Song of the Lamb, for they have gotten the victory over the Beast, his Image, and his Mark - then will be heard their Hallelujahs as the smoke of her burning ascends to those same heavens - oh, brothers and sisters - this is truly marvelous in our eyes!  "Oh, Lord, restore to us the TABERNACLE OF DAVID for you gather us, You are the faithful and true Witness!"

Could this be the SANCTUARY OF THE TABERNACLE OF THE TESTIMONY IN HEAVEN which was opened in Revelation 15:5 - for "out of the sanctuary came the seven angels having the seven plagues" in response to the prayers of the suffering saints which had ascended - now, Divine Retribution is released...for the Wrath of the Lamb has come?  Brethren, the Tabernacle of David was indeed the SANCTUARY - for the entire TENT housed the Ark of the Testimony, the Ark of the Covenant - it had but one room opened to us all!  This is where we belong - there may be two songs, but they are faithfully sung in divine unity for He is the YEA and AMEN.  Therefore, is there any wonder that after the TWO WITNESSES ascend, and judgment is poured out in Revelation 11, for we read:
Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. (Revelation 11:19)
There is but the ARK OF HIS COVENANT - for the heavenly Tabernacle of David spoken of by Amos the Prophet and announced at the Church Council in Acts 15 has borne its witness and testimony - now, the blood of the martyrs cries out and we hear:  "And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake and great hail" - this is the final Judgment, the Wrath of the Lamb in response to the Tabernacle of David!

(3) The martyred saints:  "...slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held" - in both cases as in (1) above - the "word" - Israel (1) and the "testimony" - the Church (2). - Rev. 6:9.
(4) Prior to HIS WRATH HAS COME (Sixth Seal) is the sealing of the 144,000 of Israel (Rev. 6:17; 7:1-8) - the 144,000 are sealed upon the earth as found in Rev. 7:1-3..."Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads" - NOTE:  At this point they have not been so sealed nor are they prior to this sealed by our God upon their foreheads....this is most definitely Israel and the 12 tribes and 12,000 from each tribe in anticipation of the 45-days found in Daniel 12:12:  "Blessed is he who waits and comes to the 1,335th Day" - or "Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord, Hosanna" - the unveiling of the Messiah to Israel after His Coming again in glory); the "second group" of 144,000 are atop Mount Zion with Him having His Father's name already written on their foreheads - this is a HEAVENLY SCENE and is juxtaposed to the sealing of Israel upon the earth.  This scene clearly depicts those already sealed with the Father's Name upon their foreheads - this is the representation of the Church in the heavens...they have been RESURRECTED ... "being the firstfruits" - however, they are redeemed from among men being such resurrected firstfruits to God (Israel) and to the Lamb (the Church) - i.e., Old and New Testament saints.  Eventually the two (Israel and the Church) are disclosed as the "144 cubit wall of the New Jerusalem - the two sets of 144,000 are merged into one set of 144 cubits - Rev. 21:17.


Please clearly notice:  These two groups of 144,000 + 144,000 are equal to 288,000 or "288" which, again, is seen as Israel and the Church and viewed in the 24 groups of 12 musicians each in the worship at the Tabernacle of David (24 X 12 = 288 / 2 = 144).  When we consider that this "orchestration" of music (i.e., praise and worship) continued for some 33 years at the Tabernacle of David we can calculate these 33 years as prophetic in nature and thereby conclude the following:  33 years X 360 days per prophetic year is equal to 11,880 - a somewhat astonishing result wherein 1...18...8 is immediately noticed or two sets of "18" which is the "cardinal number" of the New Jerusalem wherein its breadth, length and height are all the same, viz., 12,000 furlongs.  One furlong is 660 feet in linear length or one edge of the New Jerusalem is 660' X 12,000 furlongs is equal to 7,920,000' / 5,280' (one imperial mile) is equal to 1,500 imperial miles X 12 edges of the cubed New Jerusalem is equal to 18,000 linear miles on its perimeter or "18" is the cardinal number of the New Jerusalem.
What perhaps is even more stunning is to multiply 288 X 33 years is equal to 9,504 - which is the 12 edged fractal of the New Jerusalem herself wherein 792 (or 7,920,000' dropping zero) X 12 edges of the NJ cube is equal to 9,504 just as 288 X 33 years is equal to 9,504 and, of course, 9504 or "954" is the actual 12,000 furlongs of the combined 12 edges of the New Jerusalem:  7,920,000' (12,000 furlongs) X 12 is equal to 95,040,000' which is the very fractal/resemblance of the distance of the Earth to the Sun at its orbital apogee of 95,040,000 miles; hence, the relationship between the "Sun of Righteousness" and the Earth - an astronomical validation of these "celestial relationships" and of the grand significance of the "288."  
Furthermore, what are seen on everyone of the six faces of the cube of the New Jerusalem - for 12,000 furlongs X 12,000 furlongs = 144,000 square furlongs X 6 (man's number is "6") is equal to 864,000 square furlongs with one square furlong equal to 660' X 660' is equal to 435,600 sq. feet which 435,600 sq. feet is equal to 100 X 43,560 sq. ft. (one acre) is equal to 100 acres; therefore, 864,000 sq. furlongs is equal to 864,000 sq. furlongs X 100 is equal to = 8,640,000 acres.  Immediately, we notice that the entire surface of the New Jerusalem is a fractal of the Sun's diameter of 864,000 miles or 864 equals 864...a most "enlightening" revelation which can be immediately seen by dropping all zeroes, leaving 12 X 12 = 144 (one face of the New Jerusalem) and to multiply this 144 X 6 equal to 864, which again, is the fractal or resemblance of the Sun's diameter.

(5) Again:  THE TWO WITNESSES - Two Olives Trees and Two Lampstands - Rev. 11:4 - the Olive or Olive Trees depicts Israel and the Lampstands seen in the first chapter of the Revelation connotes the churches and, therefore, "two" Lampstands her revealed is the witness of the Church.
(6) The Woman with the 12 constellations as a garland atop her head - as per Tim Warner's excellent interpretation (The Mystery of the Mazzaroth) is the history of Israel and the Church with the first 7 constellations that of Israel and the final 5 that of the Church - Rev. 12:1
(7)  Persecuted saints who "Keep the commandments of God" (Israel) and have the testimony of Jesus (the Church) - Rev. 12:17.
(8)  Rev. 14:12 - "the patience of the saints here are those who (1) keep the commandments of God - Israel; and (2) have the faith of Jesus - please note that one might assume that if this were but the Church it would simply state the "faith of Jesus" but the added emphasis upon Israel as those who "keep the commandments of God" - note:  Babylon's fall is herein prescribed but those whose patience (endurance) has persisted over (a) Political Babylon - the worship of the beast; (b) Apostate Babylon - "and his image"; and (c) Commercial Babylon..."and whoever receives the mark of his name" - Rev. 14:11...leading straight into vs. 12 in that the "patience of the saints" - is indicative of both Israel and the Church.
(9) Again, victory over tripartite Babylon belongs to them who "...sing the song of Moses, the servant of God (Israel), and the song of the Lamb (the Church) - these TWO WITNESSES - Israel and the Church have gotten the victory over the (a) beast; (b) over his image; and (c) over his mark - Rev. 15:2-3 - also found in Rev. 19:20 and in Rev. 20:4 - "...beheaded for their witness to Jesus (the Church) and for the word of God (Israel)" - also overcoming the tripartite nature of Babylon:  "who had not worshiped the beast" (i.e., Political Babylon); "over his image" (i.e., Apostate Babylon); "and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands" (i.e., Commercial Babylon).  
(10) "Holy apostles" (the Church) and "prophets" (Israel) - Rev. 18:20...and some say 18:24 as per "blood of prophets" (Israel) and "saints" (the Church)...and of all who were slain on the earth" - see also Rev. 16:6 - "For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets" (the Church and Israel).  
(11) The entire description of the New Jerusalem given as the names of the twelve tribes of Israel and the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb (the Church) - clearly and unmistakably, these two descriptions are clearly Israel and the Church as THE Bride of Messiah, Jesus, the Lamb of God - Rev. 21:9-21.

Yes, no "Jew nor Gentile" in the Body of Christ - just as there are "no male and female" - however, there sure are clear designations in the teachings of the apostles for both male and female - so, although the New Jerusalem is but one Bride - she is manifested in two distinct aspects:  ISRAEL and the CHURCH - it is undeniable and without contestation - it is His divine masterpiece and throughout the Revelation.
We urgently need to come to terms with the TWO WITNESSES and how this vision impacts upon the Church - and for that matter - Israel, today.  Messiah's desire for one Bride - the Father's vision for the Son, in eternal relationship...herein is the battle of the wonder the enemy of our souls has so confused the roles of Israel and the Church, in particular, at the close of this age...for he well knows that their separation, and confusion among ardent believers, will thwart the Eternal Plan and Purpose of the Almighty.  Therefore, dear brethren, King David will raise up the Tabernacle of David in the Latter Days and bring forth service from the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun who will prophesy with harps, stringed instruments, and cymbals - preparing us all to sing the Song of Moses, the servant of God and the Song of the Lamb 'til Babylon the Great is altogether judged by Him Who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb!
