SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS & ON THE EARTH
...Man's Days Are Numbered!
Universality of the New Jerusalem
Milky Way, Earth, Giza Pyramid & New Jerusalem?
By Doug Krieger
IF I WERE TO TELL YOU THAT OUR SUN AND SOLAR SYSTEM ORBIT 360 DEGREES AROUND THE GALACTIC CENTER OF THE MILKY WAY EVERY 220,000,000 YEARS, AND THAT WHEN YOU, multiply the two as factors it produces a product of either 79,200,000,000 degrees or 79,200,000,000 days if each year were configured as a 360-day “prophetic year” as the “Ancient Hebrews” once used for their calendars, well, your head may commence swirling a bit.
Then again, this might generate a “ho-hum.” A closer look confirms that these first four digits (7920) are a fractal/resemblance of Earth’s 7,920-mile diameter. It’s also the length in feet of Teotihuacán’s “Avenue of the Dead”/District twenty-five miles northeast of Mexico City.
If a square were drawn around the Earth whereby each of its foursquare edges bore the 7,920-mile figure, its perimeter would be 31,680-miles. This “3168” figure is virtually ubiquitous throughout the ancient world, ipso facto its declaration is all over the New Jerusalem in that 7,920,000 ft. x foursquare = 31,680,000 ft. or “3168.”
Yes, the galactic orbit of the solar system’s “7920” mimics the primary dimension of the New Jerusalem’s 12,000 furlong height, breadth and length (each dimension as “7920”) or 12,000 furlongs x 660 ft. (1 furlong) is equal to 7,920,000 feet or, again, the “7920” degrees/years of our solar system’s journey around the galactic center of our Milky Way; while, simultaneously, the “21” is wholly engaged with the “Wall of the New Jerusalem” whose measurement is 144 SC or 2.1 ft. x 144 SC = 302.4 ft. (See: Revelation 21:16-17).
Furthermore, you might think I have far too much time on my hands if I then told you that we are now in the twenty-first cycle of this 220,000,000-year orbit or “21” which is a most peculiar number having to do with the 21 x 21 grid of Earth’s Great Pyramid of Giza (GPG), which is wholly subservient to what is known as the “Hebrew Sacred Cubit” (SC) which in turn is 25.20 inches (in.) or 25.20 inches (in.) or 25.20 in. ÷ 12 inches (1 ft.) = 2.1 ft. (1)
Finally, this 302.4 ft. is a fractal/resemblance of the base perimeter of the GPG whose prime base edge is 756 ft. x 4 = 3024 linear feet. Thus, this “cosmic association” of the Heavens, the Earth and the world to come (viz., the New Jerusalem) are all inter-related—this is our thesis.
In one fell swoop we have made statements which pertain to cosmology; the age of our solar system (4.5 billion years); its peculiar relationship to Earth’s dimensions and to the only standing ancient “Wonder of the World” which just so happens to maintain the title of the largest single structure in the world (by volume): The Great Pyramid of Giza.
Moreover, we have somehow tied them into the “Book of Book’s” most prophetic mystery: The Dimensions of Paradise . . . The New Jerusalem.
Thus, for starters, we have observed “Signs” in the heavens and upon the Earth, as well as eschatological wonderments which, though immeasurable metaphors, are given rather precise dimensions which resemble monuments on the Earth in measurement, as well as seem to have a causal relationship to Earth’s diameter, and whose measurement is reflected in the vast expanse of the Milky Way as if by design or incredible coincidence!
Does astronomy, archaeology, especially, ancient Neolithic structures like the GPG, Teotihuacán and Stonehenge, eschatology, metrology and biblical chronology have a much deeper cosmic collaboration as a result of dimensional fractals and the absolute science of mathematics; especially, proportions? Not only does this author contend that these disciplines do, but they nigh supernaturally complement each other. These are not but a myriad of casual coincidence with random association; rather they bear with their familiarity a prescient relationship with immediate socio-religio consequence and inestimable hope for humankind.
These chronologies and incredible metrologies of time past, present, and future have burst forth beyond the disparaged pseudo-science of mere “Sacred Geometry” into the credulity of objective fact . . . and at such a time as this! As the philosopher and satirist to the hippies, the late Professor John Michell of Oxford University, once examined history’s embrace of the supernatural inclination of the Dimensions of Paradise:
At such times, a certain form becomes activated within the contemporary mind, the image of a celestial city. Sightings of the aerial New Jerusalem, as described by St. John the Divine in Revelation at the beginning of the Christian era, have been reported on many subsequent occasions, often at moments of millenarian excitement. Many Christians early in the third century believe that they would live to witness the descent of the New Jerusalem.
Their hopes were raised when a beautiful walled city became apparent in the skies over Judea. According to Tertullian, it was seen every morning for forty days, fading away as the dawn lightened. Some eight hundred years later, bands of poor pilgrims, struggling across Europe toward Jerusalem during the People’s Crusade, were sustained by visions of a glorious city in the air above them to which ghostly crowds were flocking. The traditional interpretation of such visions is that they presage the coming of a new dispensation that will reproduce on Earth the harmonious order of the heavens.(2)
Prisca Sapientia and the Sacred Cubit’s Dimension
Michell’s fascination with the Sacred in Geometry might amaze an evangelical audience, as it did the late David Flynn. Both David Flynn and John Michell were utterly absorbed by Sir Isaac Newton’s quest for prisca sapientia (aka “the wisdom of the ancients”).
Late medieval thinkers such as Descartes, Francis Bacon, and John Dee were obsessed with re-obtaining the prisca sapientia. They poured over the records of antiquity to recover it, believing that the ancients had distilled the essence of it in mathematical truths or some in a symbolic language.
They viewed the biblical account of King Solomon as a tantalizing glimpse of knowledge that had once been and might be recovered by any man that was deemed worthy by God. Solomon was regarded as having obtained the pure science through divine providence . . . . The more ancient the language, the closer it may have been to the original and purest expression of knowledge.(3)
Intrinsically connected to this “purest expression of knowledge” was the precise measurement of the Hebrew’s Sacred Cubit used not only by Solomon but by Noah in the Ark’s measurements, as well as those “divine plots and plans” received by Moses for the dimensions of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness; in particular, those of the Ark of the Covenant.
Moreover, the British fascination for the “cubit’s preservation” took place under Queen Elizabeth I, in one of history’s greatest transitions: astrology to astronomy; alchemy to chemistry, antiquarians to archaeologists along with a host of so-called pseudo sciences to pure science.
Living during the Elizabethan Era, if one were a would-be scientists, like Sir Isaac Newton (father of modern physics, optics, calculus, etc.), you would be hard pressed to see the scientific method wholly embraced; rather, a mixture of alchemy and chemistry would be the rule of the day.
Later text from Ezekiel foresee, via the Sacred Cubit’s measurement, the Holy District with its astounding dimensions relative to the Sanctuary, the City, the portions for the Prince, the Levites and even “Urban Homesteading” for the farm workers. The tripartite nature of the Holy District is fraught with the measurements of the Sacred Cubit without which the entire dimensional merit of Ezekiel’s vision (Ezk. 40-48) appears obscure; or that of the “rod/reed” being 6 Sacred Cubits or 6 x 2.1 ft. = 12.6 feet—notwithstanding the supposed ambiguity surrounding the actual measurement of the City’s gates. In other words, the Sacred Cubit brings to life the divine purpose for this Millenarian marvel.
The “Sanctuary of the Lord” is given in rods measuring 12.6 ft. with a foursquare perimeter of 500 rods x 4 = 2000 rods x 12.6 ft. = 25,200 ft. which in turn is a fractal/resemblance of the Sacred Cubit’s 25.20 inches. The dominant measurement of the Holy District is the Sacred Cubit’s 2.1 ft. The “Holy City” found in Ezekiel’s vision is given as 4,500 cubits on each of its four sides [Ezekiel 48:30-35] with three gates per side and a four-square perimeter of 4,500 cubits x 4 = 18,000 cubits which is a fractal (both the twelve gates and the perimeter . . . as we shall later see in the New Jerusalem) of the 18,000-mile, 12-edged perimeter of the “cubed” Holy City, New Jerusalem and her twelve gates. At issue, although some might find this a “fringe” concept: Are Ezekiel’s Holy District and the New Jerusalem describing the same object? Are these objects “multi-dimensional” – i.e., one a cube and the other pyramidal in shape?
What is of essential importance in comparing Ezekiel’s Holy City within the Holy District and John’s Holy City, New Jerusalem, is the fact they are obviously domiciled on the Earth in the proximity of Mount Zion, today’s Jerusalem. Both “administrative jurisdictions” contain descriptive measurements, either in Sacred Cubits or miles, both bearing “18,000 signatures” in their perimeters or linear cubed measurement (i.e., the New Jerusalem) . . . giving us pause to consider the “Heavenly and Earthly” have been joined as one and are, therefore, more than separate entities but “manifest” as a singular expression of divine measurement.
The Dimensions of Paradise – The New Jerusalem
The ultimate expression of the Sacred Cubit is embedded, as John Michell surmised, in the heavenly city, the New Jerusalem. The impactful extrapolations given by John, the Beloved, bear striking similarity to their antithesis in that Great City, Babylon in the Apocalypse when comparing Plato’s Magnesia with the great Atlantis. The New Jerusalem is akin to Magnesia, whereas Babylon the Great, pending final judgment under the Wrath of the Lamb, to that of Atlantis. (4)
Plato’s Magnesia is based upon the duodecimal system of twelve (12), whereas Atlantis upon ten (10). These numeric distinctions can be seen in the Revelation when the repetition of the number “12” dominates the affirmative aspects of the record; especially that of the Holy City: 12 Tribes of Israel; 12 Gates; 12 Foundations; 12 Apostles; 12,000 furlongs; 12 Pearls; 12 manner of fruit—juxtaposed to the 10 Kings; 10 Horns; 10 Days of Tribulation; 1/10 of the Great City destroyed; 10 Crowns; 10 Heads. The number set of “5040” which is double that of the Sacred Cubit’s 25.20 (5040 ÷ 2 = 2520) is considered by Plato to be the “Optimal Number of Societal Harmony” ipso facto 5,040 citizens occupy Magnesia; to wit:
Plato mentions in his Laws that 5040 is a convenient number to use for dividing many things (including both the citizens and the land of a state) into lesser parts. He remarks that this number can be divided by all the (natural) numbers from 1 to 12 with the single exception of 11.
He rectifies this “defect” by suggesting that two families could be subtracted from the citizen body to produce the number 5038, which is divisible by 11. Plato also took notice of the fact that the well-being of the city depended almost as much on the number 5040 as on justice and moderation.” (5)
Given all the discoveries within the Sacred Geometry community regarding various cubit measurements, and the desire to determine the measurement of the Hebrew’s Sacred Cubit, there persists this glaring oversight among the foremost of its final expression in Latin inches; to wit: 25.20 inches. (6)
All this, notwithstanding, Sir William Flinders Petrie, the first Egyptologist of the famed British Museum who touches upon the Sacred Cubit’smeasurement almost as a tangential footnote to Julius Oppert’s incredible, yet apparently miscellaneous discovery of its dimension:
Dr. Oppert (Julius Oppert), examining the Assyrian metrology from literary remains [the Senkereh tablet, etc.], comes to the conclusion that besides the main series of Assyrian measures [the cubit of which is, according to him, 21.60 inches] there were other units, clearly not forming part of the regular system; these he values at 25.20 inches and 39.96 inches. (7)
The cardinal text descriptive of the dimensions of the Holy City, New Jerusalem is found in Revelation 21:16-17:
16The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed; twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.
17Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
At first glance the above passage appears somewhat simplistic insofar as dimensions. The length, width and height of the Holy City are the same: 12,000 furlongs; as well as her 144-cubit wall (please notice that the description of the wall’s thickness, length and height are not specifically given). Thus, the English furlong (8) and the cubit are “casually” mentioned; while one passes on to more elaborate colorations manifested in her jeweled foundations, gates of pearl, pure river of water of life, tree of life, etc.
The more detailed configurations of the New Jerusalem are given in Figure 6.
Calculations are extrapolated to give the reader an introduction to the versatility of the simple, but yet profound, insights given to John, the Beloved and some of their reflections with the Great Pyramid of Giza as well as her relationship to both Earth and Sun. Encapsulated within John’s primary numeration is nothing more than sheer genius, for not only can the learned suffice their dimensional brilliance but the common understanding can grasp their sublime reflections.
In essence we are peering into eternity . . . gazing upon the “Eternal Plan and Purpose” of the Almighty Creator God using the absolute science of mathematics to convey absolute truth.
This author had the good fortune to provide mathematical instruction to public school young people for many years; therefore, the interest level regarding these absolutes is somewhat heightened. The ability by some to extract potential equations and manipulate “number” was, unfortunately, not part of the curriculum.
Don’t let the “cube” of the New Jerusalem “fool you.” Throughout this discourse we strongly suggest that the measurements of this “object” are multi-dimensional and that those dimensional reflections found in Ezekiel 40-48 which appear “pyramidal” as the Mountain of the Lord are mysteriously aligned with the measurements of the New Jerusalem.
The Uniqueness of 25.20 in. of the Sacred Cubit
The Bible’s use of the Sacred Cubit was initially announced by the Almighty’s instruction to erect the vessel, known as Noah’s Ark, being 300 cubits in length, 50 cubits in width and 30 cubits in height, with a “window” extending the length of the ark being one cubit (Genesis 6:15-16). The King James Version of the Bible “cleverly” encapsulated within its apparently archaic measurements what most “enlightened souls” thought were quaint dimensions taken from some king’s foot . . . having no idea that the “British” inch, foot, yard, rod, furlong, mile (statute and nautical), acre, etc., were aligned with the Hebrew Sacred Cubit and to some extent the Roman quick pace (yard = 36 in.). The 24-hour day, the seven-day week, the 30-day “prophetic month” and the 360-day prophetic year are likewise aligned with divine chronological configurations . . . as well as the second, minute and hour. For example, when we view the 24-hour day we discover the following: 1 hour = 60 minutes x 60 seconds = 3600 seconds (one hour) x 24 hours = 86,400 seconds or “864” which is a fractal/resemblance of the Sun’s diameter at 864,000 miles. So, is “man” each “day” aware of the “Sun (or “sun”) of Righteousness” (Malachi 4:1-2) who shall arise at the “End of the Age” on the “Great Day of God?”
The Sacred Cubit’s measurement becomes abundantly clear throughout the Bible’s measurements of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness with all its utensils (Exodus 25:23-40; 26:1-37; 30:1-10; 37:10-28); the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:10-22; 37:1-9); the Altars (Exodus 27:1-19; 38:1-7); actual structure (Exodus 36:8-38; 38:9-20); Israel’s Temple under King Solomon (I Kings 6-7; II Chronicles 4:3; II Chronicles 3-4, 6; Jeremiah 52:20-23); the Second Temple (Ezra 6:3); and Ezekiel’s Temple (Ezekiel 40-48). Likewise, the Sacred Cubit is used in the Image of Daniel 3; the “flying scroll” of Zechariah 5:1-4; the distance between the disciples boat and the land (200 cubits—John 21:8); and, finally, the Wall of the New Jerusalem (144 cubits; Revelation 21:17).
There are 360° in a circle. The Earth’s rotation each day is 360°. The Israelites encircled Jericho on the seventh day, seven times or 7 x 360° = 2520° or 7 days (one week) = 7 x 360° (Earth’s rotation) = 2520°. The handwriting on the wall in Daniel 5:25: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN are monetary measurements wherein a MENE is 1,000 “gerah” and a TEKEL is 20 shekels, while UPHARSIN is the splicing in half of a MENE or 500 gerah; therefore: 1,000 + 1,000 + 20 + 500 = 2520. The distance at apogee between the Earth and the Moon is 252,000 miles. The Seventieth Week of Daniel (or seven years) is comprised of 360-day “prophetic years” or 360 days x 7 years = 2520 days (Daniel 9:24-27).
It is noteworthy that “252” or “2520” has unique properties in that: The number set 252 is the smallest number which is the product of two distinct numbers that are reverses of each other: 252 = 12 x 21 (which express both the duodecimal system of “12” characteristic of the New Jerusalem (12,000 furlongs x 12,000 furlongs = 144,000,000 sq. furlongs and 12 x 12 = 144) and the foot measurement of the SC (25.20 in. ÷ 12 inches = 2.1 ft. or “21”). Furthermore, 2520 is the smallest number that can be divided by each of the numbers from 1 to 10 without any remainder (e.g., 2520 ÷ 7 = 360; 2520 ÷ 9 = 280, etc.). In other words, avoiding any remainder or decimal, the first number set which can be evenly divided by numbers 1 through 10 is 2520 which is a fractal of the Sacred Cubit’s 25.20 inches.
The Divine Intent – Relationship of the One Bride
Before we elaborate further upon the Dimensions of Paradise, a fundamental understanding in the Judeo-Christian impressions of the Holy City must be understood from Abraham’s vision of the Celestial Paradise:
9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;
10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
13 . . . . they were strangers and pilgrims on the Earth.
14 For those who say such things, declare plainly that they seek a homeland.
15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return.
16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them (Hebrews 11:9-10, 13-16).
What is in view is a celestial city of promise with the divine potential for terrestrial manifestation whereby Heaven and Earth can be joined; the veil between them forever broken. The two dimensions consolidated into one. But more so, not only He has prepared a city for them but the inhabitants of that Holy City, the New Jerusalem, are that City!
2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
9 . . . “Come, I will show you the Woman, the Lamb’s Bride”
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God . . . .
12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb (Revelation 21:2, 3, 9-10, 12, 14).
What is in view here is an intensely unique factor within the Judeo-Christian theological tradition; distinct from virtually all religious ponderings throughout the globe. Specifically, it is the supreme expression of the divine intent to create humankind in His image: “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27) . . . with the express intent in the ultimate divine scheme of things to have fellowship with “man” (“male and female He created them”—Genesis 1:27) in the most intimate metaphor possible: The Bride, the Woman.
What distinguishes the Judeo-Christian paradigm from all others is what is known as “Thee and me” where Abraham was called “the friend of God” (II Chronicles 20:7; James 2:23). Jesus distinguished his relationship with the disciples by calling them “friends” (John 15:15). Fellowship, friendship, intimacy in relationship is completely dissimilar to so-called New-Age intrinsic union where godhood or sanctification is achieved through human accomplishment; apart and separate from divine intervention or cooperation with the Divine.
Likewise, an Almighty God, as held by Islam, is not so much an intimate “friend” with whom conversation is held in earnest but God is ensconced in unapproachable supremacy, nigh ambiguity, with man subservient, fulfilling dictums declared once and for all from the Throne.
Thus, the concept of a Bride whose description embraces singularity in relationship wherein both Israel and the Church are seen as the Woman, the Bride of the Lamb, is utterly overwhelming in its eschatological implications. Why? In that the names of the twelve Tribes of Israel and the names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb (i.e., the Church) comprise but one Woman for the Groom.
The New Jerusalem’s distinction is “her” description as the “Woman, the Lamb’s Bride” (Revelation 21:9). This is what distinguishes true, if you would, Judeo-Christianity from all other religions of the world. The city connotes governmental jurisdiction and the Bride is illustrative of eternal relationship; both suggest the corporate nature of the divine intent. The notion that an Almighty God’s voice is depicted as a breeze “walking in the garden in the cool of day” in search of the epitome of His creation made in His Image is mindboggling (Genesis 3:8-9).
The description of the Holy City viewed in Revelation 21 has but two proper nouns which are set apart from common nouns: Israel and the Church (i.e., by implication, the Apostles), is an affront to some within the “Christian camp” whose doctrinal assumption demands that the “True Israel of God” or “The Israel of God” connotes the Christian Church; however, a closer reading of Galatians 6:11-16 places the Galatian Christians of gentile background within the New Creation with the “Israel of God” singled out as those Jews who realize that “neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation”–the text has absolutely nothing to do with identifying Gentile believers as “The Israel of God” and has led to the disquieting belief and practice of supersessionism (9).
It would appear that the distinctions are eternally sustained—i.e., of Israel and the Church; however, the two complement the singularity of the divine design for the Woman, the Bride. (10)
Gnosticism, Numerology vs. Biblical Numerics
A word must be given concerning the anxiety aroused within the Christian community (not so much within traditional Jewish practices wherein gematria (11) and its action corollary, Kabbalism, are readily at home with Hebrew letters which have numerical equivalents) over “numerology.”
It is both unfortunate and unnecessary for the Christian Church to have thrown out what could and should have been a rich resource of biblical numeric values conveying spiritual realities of a profound nature. Devotional and absolute truths substantiating theological, in particular, eschatological revelation, are mathematically conveyed for our admonition, encouragement, enlightenment and enduring hope via such measurements and sundry numerical values ubiquitously found in Holy Writ.
Dr. John Michell summarizes the contentious disputations between the Gnostics and the dominate Christian faith at the commencement of the Christian era:
The Gnostics were so called because they claimed to have the gnosis, or knowledge, through personal experience, acquired by initiation into a reformed version of the pagan mysteries. Gnostic religion developed at the start of the Christian era, probably in Alexandria, from a fusion of Hebrew mysticism, Greek philosophy, and the hermetic traditions of Egypt and the East.
By the second century, it was under pressure from the authorities of the Christian Church, now established in the capital of its old enemy, imperial Rome, and the Gnostic sects were persecuted into oblivion. One of the points of difference between the Gnostics and the Church was whether or not Christianity should acknowledge any debt to previous forms of religion. The Gnostics were proud of the knowledge they had inherited from the ancient world, and claimed that the numerical science of the pagan philosophers could be adapted to prove the truth of Christianity.
The Church, on the other hand, taught that the coming of Christ was a unique event that had raised human understanding above its previous level, rendering all earlier religions obsolete. Roman policy was to extirpate the traditions and records of pagan science, particularly among Christians, with the result that information about the Gnostics’ number theology is nowhere to be found but in the works of those church fathers, Irenaeus, Tertullian, and Hippolytus above all, who wrote in order to discredit it. (12)
Yes, there have been numerical abuses perpetrated upon the unsuspecting and unlearned; however, unwarranted defamations have been hurled at some of the more immediate but spectacular presentations on the basis that “numerology is connected to the occult” and is nothing more than sensationalism. (13)
Herescope, as cited in footnote 13, contends that:
The Book of Divination names one of these scientific methods “numerology,” or “number mysticism.” It was discovered by the 6th century Greek mathematician Pythagoras, who believed that “[t]he numeral relations among things was . . . the motive force of the universe.” Numerology is a form of divination used widely in the occult world. It is often connected with astrology (birth dates, e.g.) and it is used “to discover the secret passageways that connect all things,” i.e., to divine esoteric knowledge by mystical means using numbers.
For example, the Kabbalah eventually became a mystical cargo that Spanish Jews and Christian Gnostics brought with them to America during Columbus’ historic voyage. They “leapt on it as the lost secrets that would allow access to the very innermost mysteries of the Bible.” A Christian Gnostic by the name of Pico della Mirandola, “was convinced that Kabbalistic study—particularly gematria and the other analytical techniques—could verify the scientific truth of Christianity.”
Adepts of both the Kabbalah and Gnosticism seek extra-biblical revelation or knowledge—esoteric and hidden knowledge that is forbidden by God. Note that even at this early time religious, but misguided, men were seeking spiritual wisdom through "scientific" methods. (14)
A major rift between certain “discernment ministries” like Herescope and contemporary evangelical prophetic pundits has erupted upon the religious landscape.
David Flynn’s mystical mathematical calculations have given support to Horn (Tom) and (Chuck) Missler’s UFO theories and other strange and occult teachings.
Tom Horn has cited David Flynn’s research in many of his books (Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watchers; Apollyon Rising 2012: The Lost Symbol Found and the Final Mystery of the Great Seal Revealed; God’s Ghostbusters and Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope is Here, co-authored by Cris Putnam.
Horn has also published Flynn’s book Temple at the Center of Time: Newton’s Bible Codex Deciphered and the Year 2012 . . . Flynn also illustrates his reliance on the so-called Bible codes promoted, by identifying the name “AMERICA” spelled out in ELS (equidistant letter sequences) patterns in Daniel 3:3 (“33” being a mystically significant number to Freemasons, as well as to Flynn).
Flynn’s calculations forecast the USA to be influential in end-time prophecy. Horn and Flynn also use Masonic architecture and symbology, mixed with other occult writings, to construct outlandish scenarios of prophecy and spiritual warfare not found in the literal text of Scripture.
These dark teachings color their interpretation of Scripture. All of this undermines the doctrine of the sovereignty of the Lord God. (Sundry footnotes by Herescope omitted) (15)
The general condemnatory classification of faulty numeric extrapolations falls under the title of “Quantum Geomancy” (16) and “Cryptic Mystic Math” in the mind of Herescope.
These and other pejorative statements have been accompanied by a vigorous defense of those accused of apostasy, geomancy and the use of “extra-biblical” texts by S. Douglas Woodward (17) who co-authored the text: THE FINAL BABYLON (Authors: S. Douglas Woodward, Dene McGriff and myself, Douglas W. Krieger); to wit:
. . . discernment ministries, notably the latest provocation from The Berean Call (an institution founded by the late Dave Hunt who we highly esteemed).
Krieger, McGriff, and I are proud to call friends the subjects of the accusation “apostate” by Sarah Leslie and Gaylene Goodroad.
We dare to exercise our own discernment and call their work divisive and their scholarship slipshod.
Furthermore, they will not debate their contentions (though even Chuck Missler has reached out to them—as did I—Doug Woodward, about two years ago).
They prove not only dogmatic—they are demagogues—offering slick sound bites, justifying their “truth” by saying how they speak only harkening to the authority of Scripture, and that we, the “post-modern prophecy” pundits, supersede what the scriptures teach because other sources than the Bible are included in our writings and presentations.
By this peculiar name-calling, they have sought the unction of the late Francis Schaeffer (by calling our brethren “post-modern”).
Believe me, even Francis Schaeffer specifically cited Genesis 6 and indicated there was an angelic incursion upon which all the mythologies of the world seem certain to have been based. (18)
I would simply add to this "exchange" that the "Revealer of Secrets" found in Daniel 8:13 (i.e., "that certain one") is the same one of Whom it is said:
"I have not spoken in secret, In some dark land; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, 'Seek Me in a waste place'; I, the LORD, speak righteousness, Declaring things that are upright." (Isa. 45:19)
"Come near to Me, listen to this: From the first I have not spoken in secret, From the time it took place, I was there. And now the Lord GOD has sent Me, and His Spirit." (Isa. 48:16)
"If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, keeps on cleansing us from all sin" (I John 1:7)
The New Jerusalem Diagram
Now that we have scratched the surface of the Dimensions of Paradise, the Holy City, New Jerusalem, we find that its full development within the Sacred Geometry community can be highlighted, again, by John Michell’s construction of a geometric object reflecting its astronomical and biblical associations. For many this may come as a complete surprise, even shock, that such illustrations hold any credibility; however, their ability to portray astronomical associations, along with spiritual import, is commendable; for example:
The New Jerusalem Diagram as configured by John Michell provides us with twelve circles (four groups of three comparable to the NJ’s twelve gates, three on each side) each having the Moon’s diameter of 2,160 miles, and Earth’s diameter of 7,920 miles (touching all four sides of the square’s interior). The twelve-sided object (the decagon), enclosing the Moons and Earth, allows for two sets of “12” (the decagon plus the twelve circles) or 12 + 12 = 24. It appears that this may be an allusion to the “24 Elders” of the New Jerusalem.
Each of the Moon’s 2,160-mile diameters being twelve in number give us 2,160 miles x 12 = 25,920 miles which is a fractal of the 25,920 years of the Great Procession of the Equinoxes, which we will discuss in later chapters. Suffice it now to say that our Sun’s path through the traditional twelve constellations of the Mazzaroth (Hebrew for “Zodiac” found in Job 38:32) takes some 25,920 years to orbit its path with each of the twelve constellations constituting on average 2,160 years or 2,160 years x 12 = 25,920 years.
The edge of the New Jerusalem’s 7,920,000 ft. linear dimension is a fractal of the Earth’s diameter at 7,920 miles, with both the “squaring of Earth’s circle” at 31,680 miles and the four-square of the Holy City at 31,680,000 ft. Furthermore, the “four-square” basis of the New Jerusalem (i.e., "The city is laid out as a square"—Revelation 21:16) is depicted by the “squaring of the circle” which comports in proportion to Earth’s 7,920 miles vs. the 7,920,000 ft. of the New Jerusalem four-square dimension. If we remove the zeroes as in 7,920,000,000 (i.e., 7,920) and determine the square feet on one of the City’s six faces, we will have 62,726,400+ sq. feet ÷ 43,560 sq. feet (one acre) = 1,440 acres or 1,440,000,000 acres.
The six faces of the New Jerusalem cube will produce (dropping zero): 1,440 x 6 = 8,640 acres (i.e., 8,640,000,000 acres) which produces a fractal of the Sun’s diameter; thus . . .
“There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light” (Revelation 22:5); also, “The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light” (Revelation 21:23).
The “heavenly pattern” can be amplified by the two figures found below; naturally, we will extrapolate astronomical dimensions from these objects and integrate them into the New Jerusalem Diagram, along with “spiritual applications.” The Earth, the Moon, the Sun and the New Jerusalem “herself” provide astounding mathematical comparisons which go beyond the pale of coincidence.
Earth’s radius is given as 3,960 miles. Her diameter is extended from 3,960 miles x 2 = 7,920 miles. If the Moon’s radius is added to the Earth’s radius we find 5,040 miles (i.e., 3,960 miles + 1,080 miles = 5,040 miles). This creates an additional diameter of 10,080 miles, whose circle is squared at 10,080 miles x 4 = 43,200 linear miles. This “432” is a fractal of the Sun’s radius at 432,000 miles. These dimensional resemblances are not only reflected in the “heavens” but find their associations among monuments of the Neolithic Earth (as we shall later explore).
The 31,680 mile squaring of Earth’s circle reflects the New Jerusalem’s 12,000 furlongs x 660 ft. (1 furlong) = 7,920,000 ft. x foursquare = 31,680,000 ft. The Moon’s 2,160 mile diameter and the “squaring” of its circle provide us a fractal of the Sun’s diameter whereby 2,160 x 4 = 8,640 miles (the Sun’s diameter is 864,000 miles).
The second figure seen below integrates the 43,560 sq. feet which constitutes one acre. The 24-foot base edge of the first square to the far left (top facing) provides one New Jerusalem (NJ) unit of measure or 576 sq. feet (24 ft. x 24 ft. = 576 sq. feet).
Various extensions are given (660 feet = 1 furlong; 3,960 ft. = radius of the Earth) with the acreage responding with 1,440 acres (3,960 ft. radius). The two prime numbers of the New Jerusalem, besides “12” and “7” from whence the entire “pattern” of the Holy City is constructed, are “18” and “144.”
The “18” reappears throughout antiquity in numerous Neolithic structures (as we will see later in our understanding of the Celestial City). It is derived from the 12,000 furlongs which constitutes the edges of the New Jerusalem’s “length, breadth and height.” To wit: 12,000 furlongs x 660 ft. = 7,920,000 ft. ÷ 5,280 ft. (one mile) = 1,500 linear miles x 12 edges of the New Jerusalem cube is equal to 18,000 linear miles or the “18” of the New Jerusalem.
The distance between the Earth and the Sun is secured as follows: 7,920,000 ft. (one edge) x 12 (edges of a cube) = 95,040,000 ft. which is a fractal/resemblance of the Earth’s distance from the Sun in miles at apogee (furthest orbit from the Sun). The 12,000 furlongs x 12,000 furlongs (by dropping zeroes) gives us 12 x 12 = 144.
Thus, to obtain the “cubic measurement” of the NJ we would simply multiply as factors the object as 12 x 12 x 12 is equal to 1,728 cubic measurements or, in this case 1,728,000,000,000 cubic furlongs. The “1728” is the traditional cubic measurement of one cubic foot or 12 inches x 12 inches x 12 inches is equal to 1,728 cubic inches found in one cubic foot.
The Dimensions of Paradise are committed at the terminus of the twenty-seven books of the New Testament canon . . . giving us the full revelation of the Son of Man. The “heavenly pattern” is confirmed by the Sun, Earth and Moon’s dimensions and how they bear striking resemblance to those measurements of the New Jerusalem; indeed, the universality of the New Jerusalem appears as that City Whose Builder and Maker is God. The Holy City is both an eternal administrative expression of divine governance, as well as an indisputable statement of the Judeo-Christian faith in a personal God who longs for relationship, fellowship with His creation: Man (male and female, created He them), and whose ultimate manifestation is seen in the Bride as the eternal and ultimate relationship.
Sacred geometry, notwithstanding the confrontations throughout the past two millennia (particularly between the early Gnostics and traditional Christians of Roman persuasion) and the present distress being waged by so-called discernment ministries attempting to alert the Church to the traditional evils of numerology and its sister divination, geomancy, has its beneficence in Christian theology and provides sufficient astronomical and biblical confirmation as witnessed in the late Dr. John Michell’s New Jerusalem Diagram.
The Bible is virtually from start to finish a book fraught through and through with numerical significance as to times, dates, seasons (i.e., Holy Convocations) or Jewish Feast Days, divinely-disclosed dimensions, weights, measures, distances, monetary configurations, prophetic timelines, astronomical designations, detailed chronologies and prophetic pictures which display astonishing visions mixed in with numbers (the four living creatures, the “wheel within the wheel”—the Woman of Revelation 12, and the very New Jerusalem). The challenge for those fighting the incursion of the Nephilim into the human race and their “outcroppings” around the planet is to discern what is and what is not wrought by divine measurement considered “monuments to the Lord” or not.
In Figure 10 – THE NEW JERUSALEM DIAGRAM Moons, with Earth, Moon and Equilateral Pyramid (all legs are equal) creating at the center a radius of 3,960 miles (Earth) + 1080 miles (Moon) to form a dimension of 5,040 miles which is a fractal of Plato’s “5040” used in the ideal community of Magnesia and illustrative of Optimal Societal Bliss and is a picture of the New Jerusalem’s divine administration . . . 5040 ÷ 2 = 2520 a fractal of the Sacred Cubit (SC). Also, 5040 x 2 = 10080 (eliminating zero) is “seen as” “18” which is one of the prime numbers of the New Jerusalem’s 18,000-mile, 12-edge perimeter. Solomon’s Temple Complex perimeter is said to have been 5040 linear feet or 2,400 Sacred Cubits connoting the “24” of Divine Governance as seen in the “24 Elders” of the New Jerusalem which this author purports to be that of the 12 Patriarchs of Israel (the gates of the City) and the 12 Apostles of the Lamb (the City’s foundation—Israel and the Church).
Final Note: The “Giza Pyramid Pi” created by this author is comprised of the foremost elevation of the GPG at 480.9 ft. (four-hundred, eighty feet and nine inches). This figure is divided by “153” which are the number of fish caught by Jesus’ admonition to Peter at the Sea of Galilee (John 21:11) and known in the ancient world for its unique properties (GAL in Hebrew connotes “circle”). Thus: 480.9 ft. ÷ 153 is equal to 3.143137254901961 = Giza Pi. Therefore: Combining the Earth’s radius and the Moon’s radius (3,960 miles + 1,080 miles = 5,040 miles) and multiplying by 2 as in 5,040 miles x 2 is equal to 10,080 miles (the diameter of the circle through all the moons). Thus: 10,080 miles x 3.14313725 is equal to 31,682.8235 gives a circumference approximating the “squaring of the Earth” (7,920 miles x four-square = 31,680 miles).
In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt,
and a pillar to the LORD at its border (lit. “Giza”)
You have set signs (Heb. “oth” or monuments) and wonders in the land of Egypt,
to this day, and in Israel and among other men; and You have made Yourself a name, as it is this day.
“Let us now prepare to build ourselves an altar, not for burnt offering nor for sacrifice,
but that it may be a witness (lit. “testimony”) between you and us and our generations after us . . .
Therefore we said that it will be, when they say this to us or to our generations in time to come,
that we may say, ‘Here is the replica of the altar of the LORD which our fathers made,
though not for burnt offerings nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between you and us.’”
- Famed Assyriologist, Julius Oppert (1825-1905), discovered the Assyrian Cubit to be 25.20". The Persian Royal Cubit is 25.20". A somewhat exhaustive endeavor led by none other than Sir Isaac Newton through most of his professional life concluded that the Hebrew Sacred Cubit matched Earth's circumference at 24.8832 Inches (Earth's Circumference: 24,883.2 miles or 12 to the 5th power) or 2.0736 Ft., which is just shy of the 25.20"/2.1' SC (Ref. John Michell, The Dimensions of Paradise).

Note: John Michell’s tangibility of the New Jerusalem takes this “extraterrestrial object” out of its celestial dimension into a “this worldly” expression. What he has ostensibly accomplish by bringing “heaven to earth” is akin to Doug Hamp’s novel, The Millennium Chronicles, wherein the “veil between heaven and earth” is breached at the commencement of the literal Millennium upon the Earth, i.e., the New Jerusalem as the Bride of Messiah, the New Jerusalem, descends from heaven to the earth thereby eliminating the “dimensional separation” of the two spheres … a cosmic altercation.

- A furlong is a measure of distance in imperial units and U.S. customary units equal to one-eighth of a mile, equivalent to 220 yards, 660 feet, 40 rods, or 10 chains. Using the internationally accepted conversion ratio that one inch equals exactly 25.4 millimeters, one furlong is 201.168 meters. However, the United State does not uniformly use this conversion ratio. Older ratios are in use for surveying purposes in some states, leading to variations in the length of the furlong of about two parts per million, or 0.4 millimeters (1/64 inch). This variation is too small to have many practical consequences. Five furlongs are about 1.0 kilometer (1.00584 km is the exact value, according to the international conversion). (Source: Wikipedia)
- Supersessionism, fulfillment theology, and replacement theology are terms long used for the biblical interpretation that the Christian Church supersedes or replaces Israel in God's plan, and that the New Covenant nullifies the biblical promises made to Israel, including the Abrahamic Covenant, the Land Covenant, and the Davidic Covenant. However, it has no bearing on the Mosaic Covenant (or Mosaic Law), which most Christian groups agree was always intended to be superseded by the New Covenant. The terms do not appear in the Oxford Dictionary of the Christian Church; however, the view they cover is considered part of most traditional Christian views of the Old Covenant, viewing the Christian Church as the inheritor of the biblical promises made with the children of Israel (Source: Wikipedia)
- This author finds the concept of the redeemed community of the Hebrews referred to by some as the “Wife of Jehovah” and the redeemed Christian community as the “Bride of Christ” (in a vain dispensational attempt to avoid “confusion”) incompatible with the ultimate manifestation presented as “Israel and the Church” domiciled in the one New Jerusalem, Messiah’s Bride.
- Gematria, or arithmology, is the belief that various writings, especially religious scriptures, contain secret messages that can be discovered through translating various writings into numbers. Gematria is a system in which hidden meanings are revealed within words. In early languages, especially Hebrew and Greek, each letter of the alphabet corresponded to a number. Therefore, the letters for words could also be read as numbers, which translated entire phrases, sentences, and paragraphs into writings that contained additional meaning. Numerical values of words are totaled up and then these words are said to correspond with other words sharing the same numerical value. The earliest recorded use of gematria was by the Babylonian King Sargon II who, in the eighth century B.C., built the wall of Khorsabad exactly 16,283 cubits long because that was the numerical value of his name.
