Expansion on the Seventieth Week

Millennium Considerations – Part 1

By Doug Krieger

Although this tome is purposefully elongated—due to the subject matter—it is, nevertheless, my first such missive in many months (so I’m making up for lost time—I don’t do “short” except a little bit on Facebook, Tribnet 7000).  Over the past several years we have prepared various “prophetic charts” and timelines based upon the Hebrew Sacred Calendar in an effort to clarify the Bible’s “Prophetic Scenario” as it pertains to the fulfillment of the Hebrew Prophets particularly as it relates to Daniel’s 70 Weeks’ prophecy.  Many of these “times and seasons” are now domiciled in this past year’s release of SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS & ON THE EARTH…Man’s Days are Numbered and he is Measured!” A number of additional discoveries have been made since that release—some of which you shall see here or in the addenda.

What this article intends to highlight is the prophetic prospect of an EIGHTH YEAR/EIGHTH DAY immediately following the 2520-Day Seventieth Week of Daniel unto the celebration by the nations at the very first Feast of Tabernacles, 15 Tishrei.  This will occur on the 2880th day + 5 prophetic days after the termination of the Seventieth Week’s 2520 days.  This will also fulfill the final and seventh feast day by the Glorified Son of Man (i.e., 2,520 days + 360 days = 2,880 days + 5 additional days from Tishrei 10 [Day of Atonement] unto Tishrei 10 [Day of Atonement] one prophetic year + 5 days unto the very first Millenarian celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles [15 Tishrei] in accordance with Zechariah 14:16-21).

This tome is not a defense of the futurity of Daniel’s Seventieth Week (although we will discuss the current controversy within Premillennialism and incursions of Amillennialism into the eschatological thinking of the evangelical Church).  Previously, we have extensively covered that defense of the entire futurity of the Seventieth Week.  This treatise simply develops the chronologies of Daniel’s Seventieth Week from what we affirm to be a Passover commencement of that final and soon-approaching Week through to the finality of the Week and into the additional 75 days found in Daniel 12:11-12 and continues through an additional “Eighth Year” thereby integrating the inaugural Feast of Tabernacles which shall occur on 15 Tishrei as recorded in Zechariah 14:16-21 into the mix; to wit:

16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.20 In that day “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts.[a] Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

In this tome we will explore the Eternal Purpose of God in creating from two peoples the Bride of Messiah and how the “numeric patterns” attest to that Plan and Purpose in making Israel and the Church the glorious expression of the New Jerusalem and how the nations shall come on that day to the Feast of Tabernacles, to this New Jerusalem, in celebration during the Millennial Rule & Reign of the King of kings, and Lord of lords, the very glorified Son of Man, the Son of David.

In this respect the passages in Ezekiel 34 cannot be ignored nor allegorized—they are literal and unmistakably oriented toward a New Earth which shall have the very Son of David upon the Throne—even David, “My Servant David.”

17 ‘And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats. 18 Is it too little for you to have eaten up the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture—and to have drunk of the clear waters, that you must foul the residue with your feet? 19 And as for My flock, they eat what you have trampled with your feet, and they drink what you have fouled with your feet.” 20 ‘Therefore thus says the Lord God to them: “Behold, I Myself will judge between the fat and the lean sheep. 21 Because you have pushed with side and shoulder, butted all the weak ones with your horns, and scattered them abroad, 22 therefore I will save My flock, and they shall no longer be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. 23 I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them—My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd. 24 And I, the Lord, will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I, the Lord, have spoken.  25 “I will make a covenant of peace with them…” (Ezekiel 34:17-25).

We will initially review the sequence of events as we have seen them laid out within the confines of Daniel’s Seventieth Week up through and including the additional 75 days extending beyond the 2520 days of Daniel’s, yet future, week.

Pretrib Rapture Issues in reference to Daniel’s Seventieth Week –

Again, we are not here to contend for the full futurity of Daniel’s 70th Week Prophecy found in Daniel 9:24-27 and which is, we affirm wholly substantiated by Daniel’s elaborate development of the 2,300-day Prophecy found in Daniel 8:13-14 and the concomitant theme of the future Antichrist-Beast as seen in Daniel 7 through 12; especially, taking note of the “Abomination of Desolation” (aka “Transgression”) and the subsequent “war on the saints” found in Daniel 7:21, 23-27; 8:9-14, 26; 9:24-27; 11:31-39, 40-45; 12:1-13 and confirmed in the Revelation (Rev. 6:9-11; 7:13-14; 11:7-12; 12:11-17; 13:5-7; 15:1-2; and confirmed by Jesus warnings in Matthew 24:9-28).

Moreover, the above paragraph is more than elaborated upon in Matthew 24:3-34 when Jesus gave His fledgling Church, represented by Peter, James, John and Andrew at the Olivet Discourse (Note:  After dispensing with the Old Order connected with His prophecy of the destruction of the Herodian Temple in Matthew 24:1-2) concerning the “end of the age” and the actual coming in Glory of the Son of Man and the full manifestation of the Kingdom upon the Earth.  This is introduced by Jesus in four distinct stages in which noteworthy SIGNS are arranged in chronological sequence forecasting “the end of the age” – to wit:

(1)  The commonality of ordinary signs for the greater part of nigh 2,000 years (Matthew 24:3-6).

(2)  The “Birth Pangs Era” signs found in Matthew 24:7-8 denoting world wars, famines, pestilences and earthquakes (cataclysmic occurrences) in various places—these having ensued since World Wars I and II to the present.

(3)  The Signs of the actual Seventieth Week of Daniel found in Matthew 24:9-26 which are broken in half by the Abomination of Desolation:

(a)  Matthew 24:9-14 – The Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached to all the nations during much offense, betrayal, hate, lawlessness, and falling away from the faith—due to the commencement of “tribulation” and even killing—“but he who endures to the end shall be saved” (vs. 13)

(b)  Matthew 24:15 – The Abomination of Desolation in the Middle of the Week as per Daniel 9:27 (Mark 13:14; Dan. 11:31; 12:11)

(c)   Matthew 24:16-26 – The time of the “Great Tribulation” (vs. 21)

(4)The Second Coming of Christ and the Gathering of the Elect “from one end of heaven to the other.” – Matthew 24:27-31

I would encourage the reader to see the systematic presentation of the Olivet Discourse and the parables of Jesus (5 of them) which amplify His Discourse (Matthew 24:32-51 and all of Matthew 25) and expounded upon in Douglas R. Shearer’s text:  FACING THE STORM…An Exposition of Matthew 24-25 with a Foreword by yours truly.

Confusion within Pretribulationalism/Premillenarianism

Pretrib and Prewrath/Post-Trib, in the main, confirm the futurity of Daniel’s Seventieth Week.  At one time the Pretrib academics presented a relatively solid eschatological phalanx to the world; however, confusion within the Pre-Tribulational/Pre-Millennial community wherein strife and doctrinal discontinuity seems to have overtaken many of their most vociferous proponents.  This confidential exposé confirms the confusion within the ranks:

Again, the pretrib house is no longer monolithic.  There is the new-founded pretrib of Thomas Ice and Tim LaHaye.  LaHaye calling the 'Apostasy' [2 Thess. 2:3] the rapture [of the Church; see also:  Tommy Ice].  We have the traditional:  “I wish we had all been ready/really” pretrib with figures such as Mark Hitchcock who reject that the Apostasy [aka “falling away/departure comes first”] is the rapture [See John Walvoord and Mark Hitchcock’s 1&2 Thessalonians Commentary]. There is the Messianic pretrib school of thought led by Arnold Fruchtenbaum now teaching the Tribulation (but not the rapture) cannot happen until the Antichrist is revealed [See footnote 7 in “Stage Setting for the Last Days,” Pre-Trib Research Center]. There is also the MacArthur / Jimmy De Young very dangerous false teaching that it will be possible for worshipers of the Antichrist and his image who accept the mark of the beast to still be saved and go to heaven etc., plus a lot of compromise among pre-trib leaders with everything from proven false prophets and known antichrists like Rev. Moon [supporting Tim LaHaye and other pre-trib ministries], to David Reagan being an Annihilationist and denying eternal hell.  They are becoming a much divided camp.

Pre-wrath, post-trib, and intra-seal believers also have differences as well as similarities but have never pretended to be a monolith and it is nothing as pervasive as what has overtaken the pretrib camp. They are declining for their own reason without reference to the growth of non-pretrib opinion. They are in crises and in obvious decline despite efforts to appear united at their annual event in Dallas.  We have all had pretrib friends at that event who have revealed the recorded script of what really goes on which is more theocratic and ecclesiological politicking in many respects than sustentative. They cannot continue as they are much longer.  It is already a house of cards artificially united more by church politics than by any real fellowship in truth. (Confidential source document.)

Concomitant with these interior disputes among the pretrib is the persistent notion proffered by their present leadership that post-trib is inherently anti-Israel.  This accusation is naught but a canard—having no basis in truth.  To the contrary, post-trib is, in the main, ardently pro-Israel (See:  Ron Cantor).  I bring this to the fore to amplify the greater need for a cohesive eschatology which affords National Israel with a dynamic prophetic role which is distinct but not separate from the Church’s ultimate manifestation as the Bride of Messiah—in other words, the New Jerusalem is comprised of BOTH Israel as seen in her 12 Gates bearing the names of the 12 Tribes of Israel (wherein the nations of the earth shall enter into the City) and whose foundations bear the names of the 12 Apostles of the Lamb (i.e., the Church) (Revelation 21:9-227) The question being:  How does she fit this description which appears to be both distinct but not separated in time and space?

The Dispensational Model of Israel and the Church find each other distinct but wholly separated as per:

“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes:  one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity...  Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne' so that in eternity  ... never the twain, Israel and church, shall meet.” (Chafer, Lewis Sperry, Dispensationalism, p. 107 [Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936])

Miles Stanford’s insistence on the separation of Israel and the Church during the incursions of Progressive Dispensationalism into traditional Dispensationalism, is clearly evinced in the following:

This study is the Pauline answer to present-day Dispensationalism in her dire illness, as well as our counteraction against what we have termed “Neo-Dispensationalism.” This movement, recently emerging from Dallas Theological Seminary and elsewhere, is “contemporary,” and “progressive,” having left Dallas’ founder, Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer, and his Pauline Dispensationalism far, far behind.

The aim of Neo-Dispensationalism is to equate Israel and the Church as much as possible, while at the same time keeping them separate. It has the Lord Jesus Christ now reigning over the Church from David’s heavenly throne. And it emphasizes an “already/not yet” millennial kingdom in which the Church is participating—while still fully preserving, of course, the Jewish elements of the Messianic Kingdom.

In other words, Neo-Dispensationalism is “progressing” on the horizontal, kingdom level, and is already halfway to Covenant Theology, which has always been on that earthly plane. Pauline Dispensationalism is heavenly. The Christian whom Paul presents is heavenly; the Church that Paul presents is heavenly—her Source is in heaven, although her birth took place on earth on the Day of Pentecost. She will return to her Source in heaven on the Day of the Rapture. Traditional Dispensationalism has been brought to confusion by Covenant Theology mainly because they have root similarity.

Hence, unless she moves onto Paul’s vertical plane, there is little or no hope for her survival. Coming onto Paul’s heavenly ground results in a full escape from all earthly, horizontal, New Covenant, Synoptic, Sermon on the Mount, and Millennial Kingdom influences. The heavenly position and identification factors of the Church via Paul are missing in Neo-Dispensationalism and Covenant Theology. Their horizontal doctrine and law-orientation prevent them from rising above the earthly, kingdom level.  (Pauline Dispensationalism, by Miles J. Stanford, compiled in March, 2005)

Although celebrating the Gospel of the Grace of God being superior to the Mosaic Covenant and the “Judaic system”—Stanford, I believe, has thrown out the baby with the bathwater, by denigrating a “distinct but separate” role for both Israel and the Church—especially, accelerated at the “end of days.”  He too, like most traditional Dispensationalists would obfuscate the Church’s presence in virtually all the gospels, and especially the remarks made by Jesus in Matthew 24-25 were not, in Stanford’s estimation, made with the Church in view but only with National Israel as the singular player at the “end of the age”—the Church having been raptured prior to Israel’s fulfillment in order to maintain her distinct and separate Pauline Dispensational status.

Pretribulationalism or Amillennialism – Which is it?

Sadly, Dispensationalism’s pretrib rapture teaching has over the years affixed itself so doctrinally to premillennialism [a literal 1,000 year reign of the Son of David upon the Earth at Jerusalem] that to be premillenarian one must be pretribulational.  This erroneous conclusion has left the pre-wrath/post-trib community of evangelicals out in the cold and has inadvertently convinced some of them to reconsider their entire belief in Chiliasm’s literal 1,000-year Millennium because of its “pretrib/premil. reputation”—therefore, knowing what they affirm to be the doctrinal distortions embedded in pretribulationalism (e.g., multiple raptures and resurrections, the status of “tribulation saints” as separate from the Church and Israel and the Gentiles; obfuscation of the Holy Spirit from the Seventieth Week, etc.)—they have, consequently, adopted Amillennial models of eschatology.

To some pre-trib/premil brethren it may come as a shock to realize that true Dispensationalism does not permit a simultaneous resurrection of New Testament saints with Old Testament saints—the O.T. saints are not resurrected until after the full Seventieth Week; whereas the Church is resurrected prior to the commencement of the Seventieth Week.  No wonder the dismissal of the futurity of the Seventieth Week and a literal Millennium is now embraced by a growing number of sincere Christians; to wit (personal correspondence):

Amillennialism is gaining an increasing foothold among many who once were pre-trib/pre-mil.  What happened, especially in the '70s and '80s was the attachment of Pre-tribulationalism with Premillenarianism.  Scarcely could one find someone who was post-trib/pre-mil.  Individuals like Sam Storms, a graduate from DTS (Dallas Seminary), were at one time steeped in pre-trib/pre-mil but he, and others at Dallas were shaken to the core by THE CHURCH AND THE TRIBULATION (as was I—Krieger) by Robert Gundry (who was dis-fellowshipped from ETS over his “Matthew Controversy”).  Therefore, in the 1970s things started to unwind at DTS on strict Dispensationalism until by the late 1980s so-called Progressive Dispensationalism crept into DTS’ eschatological schematic (vociferously theologically berated by Miles J. Stanford).

Brother From OK City

Once post-trib/pre-mil. became a viable eschatological alternative it became academically inquisitive to reexamine the claims of Amillennialism—Sam Storms (Oklahoma City) is one of those former died-in-the-wool pre-trib/pre-mils. who accepted post-trib/pre-mil and hop scotched to “Amil-land.”  His reasons are cataloged in his text:  Kingdom Come:  The Amillennial Alternative,  Sam's introduction to his eschatological journey into Amillennialism can be found in his article entitled:  Why I Changed My Mind About the Millennium.

Why is it two authors and researchers like Krieger and Storms took two completely divergent eschatological paths—the one toward a post-trib viable prophetic role for Israel and the Church and the other diametrically the opposite wherein Israel is simply, at best, converted and wholly absorbed into the Church, losing all distinction?

Amillenarians believe that God is pursuing but one distinct purpose:  The Bride, the Woman, the Lamb’s Wife (Revelation 21:9); however, what they have miserably failed in their quest for a unified eschatology/theology is blurring Israel's distinction, while dismantling Israel’s separation from the Church—in point of fact:  The Church is the Israel of God (aka, “Replacement Theology” and/or Christian Reconstructionism/Kingdom Now).

Amillennialism teaches that the thousand year reign of Christ mentioned in Revelation 20:1-6 is symbolic of the current church age, rather than a literal future 1000 year reign. It contends that the period described in Revelation 20 was inaugurated (i.e. began) at Christ's resurrection and will continue until His Second Coming. Amillennialism holds that while Christ's reign during the millennium is spiritual in nature, at the end of the church age Christ will return in final judgment and establish a permanent physical reign. Also taught by amillennialism is that the binding of Satan in Revelation 20:1-3 has already occurred, and means that “he might not deceive the nations any longer” (Revelation 20:3) by preventing the spread of the gospel. (Source:  Theopedia)

What I am saying here is straightforward:  The inevitable trend of many post-trib/pre-mil academics, much like Storms, is to ultimately embrace the continuation of one redeemed community of grace at the expense of vast sections of the Old Testament promises made to National Israel, which clearly define a role for a Prophetic Israel.  Whereas Dispensationalism demands Israel’s total separation in order to fulfill two distinct purposes of the Almighty—the one to the Earth (Israel) and the other to the Heavens (the Church)—Amillennialism sees absolutely no distinction and condemns all separation as antithetical to the one and ultimate design of the Bride of Christ, the New Jerusalem; thus, we have two very contrary views with a third, which I propose should be the position we should take (expressed in the sundry charts contained in this writing):

DISTINCTION NO - SEPARATION NO - The Church IS the Israel of God – there is but one “Redeemed Community” – the Church is the “continuation” of that community.  The Millennium is the “Gospel Age” since the birth of the Church.

DISTINCTION YES - SEPARATION YES - Israel is to the Earth - the Church is to the Heavens – “never the twain shall meet” (Chafer).  There is a future and literal Millennium; Israel takes her place on the Earth and the Church abides above the Earth, in the heavens during the thousand-year Reign of the Son of David upon the Earth…it appears that this distinction and separation persist into eternity (i.e., the Eschaton).

DISTINCTION YES - SEPARATION NO - the New Jerusalem is eternally the Bride of Messiah but whose gates bear the names of the 12 Tribes for the “nations” to enter into (Israel) and whose foundations (hidden in Christ before the foundations of the world) the names of the 12 Apostles of the Lamb (the Church).  Israel and the Church are not separated during the literal Millennium—the “imagery” does not support “never the twain shall meet”; therefore, John’s vision of the New Jerusalem and Ezekiel’s vision of the Holy District presents the two distinctions (Israel and the Church) in a MULTI-DIMENSIONAL FRAMEWORK—which appears to commence at the very beginning of the Millennium itself!

What happened to Storms in reading the likes of George Eldon Ladd (Historic Pre-mil akin to the Seventh Day Adventists), Anthony Hoekema (himself Amillenarian) and others wherein he eventually became Amillenarian in his eschatology had everything to do, I believe, with a poorly-developed Pre-mil model which clearly defines the roles of Israel and the Church in the Latter Days—keeping their obvious distinctions, while simultaneously demanding there be no separation of the two: TWO OLIVE TREES - TWO LAMPSTANDS find themselves in “divine collaboration” at the “end of the age.”  Indeed, Jacob's Ladder wherein the angels are “ascending and descending upon the Son of Man” bringing heaven to earth and earth to heaven through the Son of Man projects a prophetic paradigm wherein these two dimensions shall be once and for all shattered.

The maintenance of a New Heaven and New Earth has forever been within the Plan and Purpose of the Almighty—the dimensional divide is forever obliterated; there is no separation—yet, distinction remains (See: 2 Peter 3:3).  This, however, demands an agonizing reappraisal as to the timing of the New Heaven and New Earth; to wit:  Is it established at the commencement of the Millennium or in the “Eighth Day” known as the Eschaton or Eternity after Satan’s final rebellion (Revelation 20:7-10) with the subsequent Great White Throne Judgment for all unbelievers immediately following (Revelation 20:11-15)?

Douglas Hamp

This author leans heavily in favor of the immediate display of the New Heavens and New Earth which seems mandatory for there to be the descriptions endemic in the Millennium throughout both testaments.  Doug Hamp has done an exceedingly forceful presentation of this possible reality—and it most certainly is in keeping with the thrust of Israel and the Church as the Bride of Messiah from the very commencement of the Millennial Age.  (See Doug Hamp’s website @

Finally, the “Eighth Day” is no doubt the Eschaton; however, the Seven Days/Seven Years of the Seventieth Week appear to demand an Eighth Day/Eighth Year—which we shall explain—it is most definitely a New Beginning.

Overview of the Seventieth Week—A Post-Tribulation Perspective

The associated chart entitled the Seventieth Week of Daniel and the 75 Days outlines a post-tribulational view of the Seventieth Week.  It details the prophetic panoply of events during each segment of the Week and the additional 75 days which are accorded virtually as addenda to the Week found in Daniel 12:11-12.  It is both chronologically absurd to suggest that somehow the 1290 days of desolation (30 days beyond the 1260 days of desolation, most certainly) are somehow placed within the confines of the Week and not in continuation of the first 2,520 days of the Week—they are sequential to the Week—i.e., the 30 extra days follow the already accomplished 2,520 days and constitute the time frame known as the Wrath of the Lamb found at the disclosure of the Sixth Seal in Revelation 6:12-17:  “The Wrath of the Lamb – For the great day of His wrath has come.”

70th Week

Likewise, the “intra-sealed rapture of the Church” (Jacob Prasch’s Harpazo:  The Intra-Seal Rapture of the Church develops this theme) occurs between the Sixth and Seventh Seals in which Revelation 7:1-8 displays the “sealing of the Servants of God” upon their foreheads (Israel’s representative 144,000 or the names of the 12 Tribes of Israel) and the full disclosure of the heavenly and great multitude “ . . . of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands” and who are described as follows: “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:9-17).

This vast multitude is not only the redeemed from the Great Tribulation (the final half of Daniel’s 70th Week) but the resurrected and “redeemed from the earth” from Adam to the terminus of the Great Tribulation as seen in the 144,000 atop the heavenly Mt. Zion having “His Father’s name written on their foreheads” – indeed:  “They are without fault before the throne of God” (Revelation 14:1-5).   Thus, two distinct sets of 144,000 (Rev. 7 and Rev. 14) – Israel (Rev. 7) and the Church (Rev. 14) and/or Congregation/Assembly of the First Born (“To the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven” – Hebrews 12:23—saints throughout the ages from Adam through the full Seventieth Week of Daniel—i.e., there are not two separate resurrection; one for the Church and one for all saints prior to the Church Age).

NOTE:  I have continued this issue of the two groups of 144,000 in Addendum 1 at the end of this text; and of the issue of the New Song as “proof positive” of the pre-tribulational rapture of the Church in Addendum 2.

In summation:

  1. Passover commences the Seventieth Week – 14 Nisan and concludes the 70th Week—thus, eight separate Passovers are included in the 70th Week – the “Treaty of Death and Hell” is ENFORCED upon Israel and the nations (Daniel 9:27; Isaiah 28:15, 18) – Divine and Corporate Testimony of the TWO WITNESSES – Two Prophets – Two Martyrs – Two Olive Trees (Israel) and Two Lampstands (the Church) for 1,260 days (Rev. 11:1-6)
  2. The First 1260 Days of the Week shall witness:

(a)  40 days:  The Gog-Magog War:  Ezekiel 38, 39:1-16; Daniel 11:40-43 – the Reign of the Antichrist commences.

(b)210 days:  Cleansing of the land from the Gog-Magog War (Ezk. 39:12)

Total:  250 days between any Passover and Feast of Dedication or 14/15 Nisan to 24/25 Kislev – at the 250th Day of the 70th Week shall be the Dedication of the so-called “Tribulation Temple” in Jerusalem.

(c)  1010 “Days of Sacrifice” in fulfillment of the 2,300-day Prophecy of Daniel 8:13-14 or 1290 days of desolation + 1010 days of Sacrifice = 2300 days of “sacrifice and desolations” – first 1260 days is the world-wide preaching of the gospel (Matthew 24:14; Revelation 11:3-6).

Seventieth Week 2

  1. “Middle of the Week” - THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION – both a terrestrial desecration of the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and the spiritual Desecration of the Antichrist wherein “Satan enters into the body of Antichrist” and he is forthwith entitled THE BEAST FROM THE ABYSS. (Matthew 24:15; Rev. 11:7; 9:11; 12:23; 13:2-7; Dan. 9:27—termination of the “sacrifice” – the Treaty is broken—period of “abominations” commences.  Son of Perdition, Man of Sin, Lawless One—2 Thess. 2:3-12; Rev. 17:8)
  2. 1260 Days – The Great Tribulation – the REIGN OF THE BEAST – The War on the Saints – the “Open Persecution” of the Two Witnesses wherein their “dead body lies in the street of the Great City for three-and-one-half days or 3.5 years, or 42 months, or time, times and half a time or 1260 days. (Matthew 24:16-28 unto the coming of Christ)…
  3. 1290 Days (overlaps first 1260 days of the second half of the Week + 30 days) – “Days of Desolation” (Daniel 12:11) unto the 1290th Day or 30 days beyond
  4. 2520th Day:  The Resurrection and the Rapture of the Saints prior to the Wrath of the Lamb (Revelation 7 and 11 – “Come up here” and prior to Babylon’s judgment:  Rev. 18:4:  “Come out of her My people!”)  (1 Thess. 4:16-18; Rev. 20:4-6; Daniel 12:2a)
  5. 2520 to 2550 or 30 Days:  THE WRATH OF THE LAMB HAS COME (Revelation 8, 9, 14:17-20; 16, 17, 18, 19; Isaiah 24; Daniel 7:9-14; 2:44-45; 2 Thess. 2:8) – The Judgment of Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth (Apostate Religion); the King/Daughter of Tyre (Commercial Exploitation); and the King/Daughter of Babylon (Political/Military Babylon) – the defeat of the Beast, the Second Beast and the binding of Satan for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1-3, 7).
  6. During 30 Days:

(a)  The reversal of the Hebrew Calendar from wherein Tishrei shall once again become the first month/Nisan the seventh month—“As in the days of Noah so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:37).

(b)The “sounding” of the Seven-fold Trumpet (Revelation 8) – Tishrei 1 through 10 (The Feast of Trumpets unto the Day of Atonement:  “In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation . . . Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land” [Lev. 23:24; 25:9]

(c)  “My Sacrificial Meal” (Ezk. 39:17-20); “Supper of the Great God” (Revelation 19:17-21) – the Battle of Armageddon or Armageddon Campaign (Zech. 14:1-7) from the terminus of the Gog-Magog War unto the final 1,290th Day of Desolation or total of 2,510 days or from the beginning of the Week some 2,510 + 40 days = 2,550 days.

(d)“The Wrath of the Lamb has come” (Rev. 6:12-17;  Seven-fold Trumpet and the pouring out of the Seven-fold Vial) – THE DAY OF THE LORD (Joel 2:30-31; 3:14-16; 2 Thess. 2:1-3; 2 Peter 3:10-13).

(e)  The BEMA—Judgment Seat of Christ (Matthew 24:45-51; 25:1-30; 2 Cor. 5:10).

(f)   The “Marriage Feast of the Lamb” – Rev. 19:6-10

  1. During the 45 Days:  Unto the 1335th Day (Daniel 12:12) - The Second Coming of Christ, the Messiah, the Glorified Son of Man, the Sun of Righteousness, the Son of David shall bring peace to the earth and establish His Kingdom.  (Malachi 4:1-2; Zechariah 14:8-21) – “TO ANOINT THE MOST HOLY PLALCE” (Feast of Dedication – 24/25 Kislev) – Dan. 9:24; Matthew 24:29-31.  10/11 Cheshvan/Heshvan (30 days from 10 Tishrei)
  2. MILLENNIUM ERA – The Seventh Day – the 7,000th Year shall commence – Messiah shall reveal Himself to National Israel—and so “all Israel shall be saved” (Romans 11:26-27; Revelation 20:4-6) – the Rule & Reign of the Son of David (Ezekiel 34:15-31) – The dimensional separation of Heaven and Earth is over—Israel and the Church are manifested as the Bride of Messiah in the MULTI-DIMENSIONAL NEW JERUSALEM (Ezekiel 40-48; Revelation 21.

The “Eighth Year” After the Seventieth Week

The concept of an “Eighth Year/Day” (i.e., One Week = Seventieth Week or 7 Days/7 Years + Eighth Day/Eighth Year) is somewhat foreign to most who affirm the futurity of the complete Seventieth Week of Daniel’s prophecy (Dan. 9:24-27).  However, I do not consider this an artificial construct, but a reality of what will happen from the commencement of the 75 days found in Daniel 12:11-12 and extending through Purim and on to the terminus of this “Eighth Day/Year” at the innagural Feast of Tabernacles on 15 Tishrei.

The following chart details the progression of events and must be seen through the lense of the Hebrew Calendar having reverted to the “Days of Noah” wherein the month of Tishrei becomes, once again, the First Month of the year and not the Seventh Month of the year.  It begins on 1-10 Tishrei (Feast of Trumpets – 10 Days of Awe unto the Last Trump sounding on 10 Tishrei—the Day of Atonement in that the Wrath of the Lamb has come).

Details Regarding the EIGHTH YEAR following the 70th Week

How did we arrive at the  I am the “2885” days?   With the commencement of the 70th Week on any given Passover - then there would be 2520 days until the end of the Week and eight such Passovers; however, we affirm that the Coming of the Lord is preceded by the Rapture and Resurrection of the Church and the sealing of Israel’s 144,000 and then unto the 1290th Day or 30 days of desolations added which is the time of the Wrath of the Lamb has come!

We also affirm that the Hebrew Calendar will be supernaturally reversed to the DAYS OF NOAH just as it was at the first Passover (Nisan was the 7th Month and it became the 1st Month--so, now Tishrei is the 7th Month and it will now become the 1st Month—AGAIN—“As in the Days of Noah—so shall it also be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man”).

Yes, the 360-day Hebrew Calendar persists from the commencement of the Week throughout unto the Feast of Tabernacles—or from “Passover unto the final Feast of Tabernacles”—just as today’s fascination with the Tetrad Blood Moons appearing on two Passovers and two Feast of Tabernacles.  The theme of the First and Seventh Feast Days (standing as bookends) is precisely what is in view in these “eight years” aforementioned . . . there is a “Passover Beginning” and there is a “Feast of Tabernacles Ending.”

Thus, Passover 14 Nisan will revert to 10 Tishrei (with the 4 days omitted because the Pascal Lamb has been offered and needs no "inspection") but as He commenced His 3 years and 6 month earthly ministry on the Day of Atonement, so will He commence His judgment; not as the “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” but on the “next day” John the Baptist declared: “Behold, the Lamb of God” (John 1:29-37).  He's already taken away the sin of the world--now He comes as the WRATH OF THE LAMB to mete out His vengeance!

The 10/11 of Cheshvan – The Coming of Messiah

The Feast of Trumpets with the 10 Days of Awe at the “Last Trumpet” will sound and the “10” shall be judged (10 kings, 10 crowns, 10 horns, 1/10 of the Great City, 10 toes of the Image, 10 days in prison—all the 10s of Revelation and Daniel tend toward “evil” and comport with the 10 plagues of Egypt under Moses and the 10 sons of Haman relative to Purim).

Even so, shall the Lamb’s Wrath commence on the 10th Day of Tishrei and persist 30 days unto 10/11 Cheshvan when He shall come again in Glory with all His saints.  This is Rachel’s commemoration of her death/burial by Jacob after dying in child birth with Benjamin.  The Rabbis attest to Messiah’s visitation to be in the month of Cheshvan and collaborate His coming on 10/11 Cheshvan to coincide with Rachel’s commemoration as the Matriarch of Israel.

Cheshvan (in Hebrew: חֶשְׁוַן), or as it is also known, Mar-Cheshvan, is the eighth of the twelve months of the Jewish calendar. [Note:  Tishrei is the seventh month on the Jewish calendar prior to its reversal to the first month at the first Passover; therefore, Cheshvan was the eighth month]

In the Bible, Cheshvan is called the month of bool [or “bul”] (בּוּל) a name that stems from the word for “flood” (מַבּוּל). The flood began on the 17th of Cheshvan, and ended the following year on the 27th of Cheshvan. On the following day, the 28th of Cheshvan, Noah brought his sacrifice to God and God swore never again to bring a flood upon the earth to destroy all mankind, and then revealed the sign of His covenant with the world, the rainbow.

Cheshvan is the only month which has no holidays or special mitzvot.  We are taught that it is “reserved” for the time of Mashiach (Messiah), who will inaugurate the third Temple in Cheshvan. (My Emphasis)   Cheshvan is the second month of the Jewish calendar counting from Rosh Hashanah.  Cheshvan is the only month that does not have any holidays or special mitzvot. We are taught that it is “reserved” for the time of Moshiach, who will inaugurate the Third Temple in the month of Cheshvan. (

Cheshvan is the eighth month of the Jewish calendar—the month of Moshiach. The number seven signifies the perfection of nature. The number eight signifies the supernatural—the Divine light that transcends the limitations of nature and the boundaries of the finite. This is the number of Moshia . . . we see that the inauguration of the three Temples occurs in the first three months of the year: The first Temple during Tishrei, the future third Temple during Cheshvan and the second Temple in Kislev [aka, Feast of Dedication, 24/25 Kislev].  On the 11th of Cheshvan we commemorate the passing of Rachel Imeinu. Rachel the Matriarch represents the inner power of the soul to awaken G-d’s mercy upon His people to redeem them from exile. She constantly awaits the gathering of the Jewish people from all corners of the world and their coming back to their homeland Israel. (Secrets of Cheshvan, Kabbalah of Life)

On the Biblical calendar, the month of Cheshvan immediately follows the “holiday month” of Tishrei, though it is sometimes called Mar-Cheshvan (“bitter Cheshvan”) because there are no festivals during the month (“neither feast nor fast”) and it marks the start of the cold and rainy season in Israel.  The Torah records that God brought down the Flood that destroyed the world in Cheshvan 17 (Gen. 7:10-11), which lasted until Cheshvan 27 (Gen. 8:14)—exactly one calendar year after it began (the Jewish sage Rashi notes that the 11-day discrepancy between the 17th and 27th represents the 11-day difference between the solar and lunar year).  Because Noah’s Flood began and ended during this month, Cheshvan is generally regarded as “mar”—a time of judgment and hardship.

Historically, Cheshvan has been a time that has brought much suffering to the Jewish people throughout the ages.  In more recent times, German Nazis launched a campaign on terror against Jewish people during this month.  Die Kristallnacht (the “Night of Broken Glass”), the infamous pogrom that initiated the Holocaust, occurred on Cheshvan 15 (Nov. 9th, 1938).  Its initial political purpose was to “disarm” all German Jews, though this became the pretext for cruelty, murder, and genocide of the Jewish people.  Despite its association with judgment, some Jewish traditions maintain that the month of Cheshvan will eventually lose its bitterness, because it will be during this time that the “third Temple” will be inaugurated.” (hebrew4christians)

The 45 Days of Blessing – Unto the 1335th Day + 80 days to Purim

From 10/11 Cheshvan—the full 30-days of the Wrath of the Lamb—then 45 days unto 24/25 Kislev (Feast of Dedication/Festival of Lights) and to ANOINT THE MOST HOLY PLACE (Dan. 9:24); yes, this is the very dedication of the Millennial Temple.  Likewise, this is the time frame in which Messiah shall reveal Himself  to His brother, National Israel:

“Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days . . . You shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’” (Daniel 12:12; Matthew 23:39; Luke 6:28; Psalm 118:26).  Then there shall be 80 days to Purim [14/15 Adar] and the celebration of the defeat of Antichrist/Haman and his 10 sons + Haman = 11 and that is the number of the AC-Beast (i.e., “the younger horn” or the Eleventh Horn of Daniel 7:8, 20-21; Ref. Esther 9:6-10, 17-22).  (Note:  24/25 Kislev to 14/15 Adar configures 80 days in that 5 days remain in Kislev + 30 Days in Tevet (10th month) + 30 Days in Shevat (11th Month) and 15 Days in Adar (12th Month) = 5 + 30 + 30 + 15 = 80 Days)

It is duly noted that we have in the past highlighted the peculiar TRIAD Blood Moons which shall appear from 2018-2019 (one set of Triad Blood Moons) and from 2025-2026 (second set of Triad Blood Moons) and of the final set of Triad Blood Moons and the Gregorian/Hebraic dates upon which they shall fall—with #4 and #5 falling on Purim; to wit:

Although the above chart goes into elaborate calculations regarding the time sequences between these Blood Moons—I find that there occurrences on these certain Jewish Festival Days seen in the next graphic are indeed nigh supernatural—let alone the two very distinct full-blown and length total solar eclipses which will crisscross the North American continent on August 21, 2017 and again on April 8, 2024.  This most unusual occurrences, according to NASA, is virtually the only place on the face of the Earth where such a dual exposure of a total solar eclipse shall take place—nowhere else on Earth during this time frame (from 2017 through 2026 will such an astronomical phenomena take place anywhere on the planet except over the United States of America and precisely over the most active region of the New Madrid Seismic Zone.  I would not hesitate to acclaim this as fair warning to Babylon the Great at the close of the age!  (See the Chart below “THE BLOOD MOONS / DANIEL’S 70TH WEEK”)  The dates below are interfaced with the Hebrew Calendar/Gregorian Calendar for the years 2018 through 2026—ostensibly an eight-year period of time.

From Purim to the very first mention of the Feast of Tabernacles after the coming of Messiah (Zech. 14) there are precisely 210 days.  Thus: 2520 + 360 Days (or 10 Tishrei to 10 Tishrei) = 2880 days with these 5 days “left over”—but for what purpose (i.e., between 10 Tishrei and 15 Tishrei)?  These 5 days unto 15 Tishrei will bring us to the very first Feast of Tabernacles in the Millennial Rule and Reign or 2880 + 5 = 2885 or better: 2880 = 288/2 = two sets of 144: Israel and the Church (Rev. 7 and Rev. 14).

To confirm the wisdom of the Almighty in His Divine Calendar: 2880 x 5 (the 5 days between the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles as the final Feast Day on the Hebrew Calendar to be fulfilled by Christ, the Messiah and Savior of the World; yes: 5 x 288 = 1,440 or 5 x 2880 = 14,400 or the "144" of the New Jerusalem's Wall (Rev. 21:17) and every one of the 6 faces of the cubed New Jerusalem at 12,000 furlongs x 12,000 furlongs = 144,000,000 sq. furlongs.  Technically, there are three separate sets of “144” in the Revelation (Rev. 7, 14 and the Wall of the New Jerusalem at 144 Cubits found in Rev. 21:17).  Likewise, on each face of the cubed New Jerusalem (6 faces to every cube) there are 6 sets of 144,000,000 sq. furlongs or 6 sets of “144” – therefore, there a total of 9 sets of 144 mentioned in Revelation.  Consequently, 9 X 144 = 1,296 X 2 = 2592 or the 25,920 years of the Great Precessional of the Equinoxes atop the Woman’s head in Revelation 12 worn as a “garland of victory” or 3 sets of 144 (Rev. 7, 14, 21) x 6 sets of 144 (the 6 faces of the New Jerusalem cube) = 18 sets of 144 or 18 X 144 = 2592 as well.

We must rejoice for 2880 days X 360 degrees (the rotation of the Earth on each day) = 1,036,800 degrees “seen as” 1...36...8 or God/Christ (360° as in a circle without Beginning of Ending) within the New Jerusalem  and the “18” being the 18,000 mile 12-edged cube of the New Jerusalem or “Housed within the New Jerusalem” is GOD in fulfillment of Revelation 21:3:

“And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacles of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people . . . God Himself will be with them and be their God.”

And rejoice again dear brethren for 1,036,800 (if viewed as hours) X 24 hours (24 elders being Israel’s 12 patriarchs and the Church’s 12 apostles of the Lamb) = 24,883,200 hours or 24,883.2 which is a fractal of the “mean circumference” of the Earth @ 24,883.2 miles (many references on this); thus, THE EARTH IS THE LORD'S!  Does not that set your heart on fire?  If it does not you are probably not saved and need to repent!

Therefore, 10/11 Heshvan/Cheshvan (30 days from 10 Tishrei is in accordance with Daniel 12:11) is, I affirm, the Second Coming of Messiah and then 45 days thereafter will be “To Anoint the Most Holy Place” at the Feast of Dedication (4th Temple) on 24/25 Kislev (75 days from 10 Tishrei - see Dan. 9:24; 12:12) and then an entire 360-day year from this 10 Tishrei to another 10 Tishrei + 5 days unto the very first Feast of Tabernacles on 15 Tishrei.

In the following chart I have placed a 14/15 Adar date for there is a blood moon (the final, final one of the 2 sets of TRIAD BLOOD moons appearing on that very date which is PURIM in celebration of the defeat of the Antichrist prototype, Haman with some 210 days unto the Feast of Tabernacles (aforementioned).  So, commencing with Passover (Nisan 14), Feast of Unleavened Bread (Nisan 15), Feast of First Fruits (Nisan 17) and then Feast of Weeks/Pentecost (Sivan 6) . . . four major Festival Days of the Seven Major Festival Days have already been fulfilled in Christ—the the three final Fall Festival Days shall be fulfilled.

In review:  The Seventieth Week of Daniel should commence on a Passover and end on a Passover and then “as in the Days of Noah” the Hebrew Calendar will revert back to its original sequence wherein Nisan shall again become the 7th Month and Tishrei will become the 1st Month—therefore the three Fall Feast Days will then proceed to their completion in Christ: 1-10 Feast of Trumpets unto Day of Atonement (the “twofer”) which sounds the Last Trumpet on 10 Tishrei when the Rapture/Resurrection takes place and the Wrath of the Lamb/Day of the Lord commences for 30 days (unto the 1290th Day of Desolation) and then will appear the Sun of Righteousness (with all His saints) with healing in His wings on 10/11 Cheshvan (Rachel's Commemoration of her death bearing Benjamin—even so, do the Rabbis concur with this very date!) and then 45 days of Blessing wherein BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, HOSANNA is heard for then shall all Israel be saved!

Thus at the end of the 45 days of blessing shall be TO ANOINT THE MOST HOLY PLACE (Dan. 9:27) on 24/25 Kislev—Feast of Dedication and then the very first Feast of Tabernacles, and the 7th Feast Day on 15 Tishrei (some 2885 days from the very commencement of the 70th Week unto that date; however, we count from 10 Tishrei unto 10 Tishrei (in this extraordinary and eighth year) some 2880 days X 5 = 14,400 or “144” for the New Jerusalem is in view wherein the gates of the Holy City shall bear the names of the 12 Patriarchs of Israel (tribes) for the nations shall go in and out of these gates and the 12 Foundations shall be named for the 12 Apostles of the Lamb, the Church.

Thus, the New Jerusalem is MULTI-DIMENSIONAL with both an earthly perspective (Israel) and a heavenly perspective (the Church and Congregation of the First Born—all the saints from Adam unto the terminus of the Seventieth Week).

Those who are wary of Amillenarian incursions in the “prophetic community” must come to terms with the fact that the Amillenarian community’s distain for the elaborate eschatological structures embedded in preserving the pre-tribulational rapture of the Church and the other peculiar addenda witness within the Millennial Reign itself (e.g., the “Two Holy Cities” (Ezekiel’s found in Ezekiel 40-48 and the New Jerusalem found in Revelation 21) – along with two brides:  The Wife of Jehovah for Old Testament saints and the Bride of Christ for the Church only—along with all the peculiar resurrections which are associated thereto and the astonishing discoveries wherein the New Jerusalem “descending” to where?  That would be somewhere in the stratosphere for in the mind of the Dispensationalist the New Jerusalem never quite reaches the Earth for then it would tamper with Israel’s divine privilege?

Furthermore, the Amillenarian community is flummoxed to discovery that Dispensationalism has somehow removed all unbelievers from the face of the Earth as the Millennium commences—only to find “And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles” (Zechariah 14:16).  Apparently, the “unsaved” who came up against Jerusalem at the “end of the age” are found in the Millennium . . . so much for Dispensationalists who affirm that the unsaved all perish prior to the commencement of the Millennium!  Sort of takes care of repopulating the Earth.

What then of those unsaved in the Kingdom here on Earth?  If they refuse to come up to Jerusalem—“on them will be no rain . . . if the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles” (Zech. 14:17-18).  Furthermore:  “This shall be the SIN (punishment) of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.” (Zech. 14:19).

It is inescapable to think that life shall not continue wherein repopulation of the Earth shall be the norm but life will not be the same—the New Heavens and New Earth will IMMEDIATELY COMMENCE at the dawning of the Millennium; to wit:

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. 18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy. 19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem, And joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, Nor the voice of crying.

20 “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed. 21 They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22 They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble.” For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, And their offspring with them.

(Isaiah 65:17-23)

It appears that longevity will be the norm in the literal Kingdom—there will be SIN there as well—yes, right in front of the Son of David!  What is going on here?  Unless and until we come to terms with the fact that the New Heaven and New Earth commence at the start of the Millennium; and that life extension is the norm, as well as punishment, sin, and sinners—we simply cannot understand why the gates of the city are for the nations:  “And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.  Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).  And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.  But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life” (Revelation 21:22-27).

Unless your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life you cannot enter the Holy City!  Imagine, in the New Heaven and the New Earth someone can actually be an “accursed sinner” and nations can suffer punishment or can “SIN!”  A child can die at 100 years of age—so humans shall die during the Millennium and apparently live a very long time as was the case prior to the Deluge.  What is difficult to affirm is how can life go on this way and there is still sin?  Well, the devil has been bound for 1,000 years and then is let loose at the terminus of the 1,000 years (Rev. 20:7-10).

Today, the Amillenarians have the somewhat grandiose notion that we have been living in the thousand-year reign of the King of kings ever since the Church started to preach the gospel.  We are living in the AGE OF THE GOSPEL and Satan is currently bound—well, you could have fooled me.  The Amillenarians believe that Satan has been bound for nigh 2,000 years—unable to inhibit the preaching of the gospel to all the nations in accordance with Matthew 24:14 but, insofar as “bound” goes, Peter simply was not too clear about that for he said:  “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).  That’s not very comforting, is it?  “Bound” therefore must be in the eye of the beholder?

Meanwhile, the Dispensationalists—especially, the pre-trib type—have the Church, the Bride of Christ either suspended in the heavens, awaiting the Eschaton when she makes her grand entry or “somewhere.”  Notwithstanding, she is still referred to as “the Woman, the Lamb’s Bride” according to Revelation 21:9.  “His wife has made herself ready” shortly after or during Babylon’s demise (Revelation 19:6-10) with the Marriage Supper of the Lamb going full throttle during this time—all this prior to the inauguration of the Millennial Reign.  What I am suggesting is this:  The Bride of Christ is wholly recognized prior to her descent to the earth.  The question then being:  Who are the “armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, (who) followed Him on white horses”? (Rev. 19:14)

Are they not the same as:  “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other”? (Matthew 24:31).  The same ones spoken of in Jude wherein we read:  “Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him” (Jude 14-15).

Yes, the Bride of Messiah is returning with the King of kings in the most triumphant manner—make no mistake about that!   The ten thousands of His saints are not angelic beings—but the redeemed of the Earth!  Thus, the Amillenarians are about 1,000 years ahead of themselves and the pretrib Dispensationalists find themselves in a thousand-year Marriage Supper of the Lamb celebration prior to their descent to the Earth—even though they have apparently made at least one conquering visitation; only to go back to the heavens in suspended animation awaiting the Eschaton before they make their grand entry?

The Ladder between Heaven and Earth

Israel and the Church shall keep their divinely orchestrated distinctions but NEVER AGAIN shall they be separated!  The Glorified Son of Man seen in Jacob’s dream, the ladder to heaven's portal or gate—the same ladder Jesus spoke about with Nathaniel as a promise of “greater things” in that he confessed Jesus as the “Son of God and King of Israel” (John 1:49) shall on that day utterly smash the dimensional divide between Heaven and Earth.  He alone has brought man to God as the Son of God and brought God to man as the Son of Man.  We confess He is the Son of God—but He comes as the Son of Man, for He overcame as a MAN - THERE IS A MAN IN THE GLORY and He’s coming for His Bride!

It is the supreme conviction of this author that the very chronologies of the Seventieth Week and the year following yield an unalterable vision of the New Jerusalem, as the Holy City descending as a Bride for her Groom and the very Throne of David established in Jerusalem and expanded upon in Ezekiel’s vision of the Holy District with its Sanctuary and Holy City along with Messiah the Prince’s portions and the priestly portions and the sustainable portion for cultivation—all present a unified whole, a cosmic, multi-dimensional Earthly-Heavenly reality, virtually indescribable but altogether measured to perfection.  She altogether tangible—terrestrial but celestial in every way—totally impossible to fathom by the natural mind but comprehensible by the Spirit of God.  The measurements of both the New Jerusalem and the Holy District have amazing integration—there are not two Brides; there are not twenty-gates to the Holy City—there are but twelve!

ezekiel's holy district

These are not competing expressions of the divine intent.  They are the singular manifestation of the Holy City from an “earthly perspective” and from a “heavenly dimension”—the Multi-Dimensional New Jerusalem; the expression of His Authority in the New Heavens and New Earth.

Retracing the 6,000 Year Commitment for Man’s Days

The chronological specificity of the Seventieth Week is so precise that once we enter into its chronology—for all those “in the know”—all surprise is taken from us insofar as the coming of the Lord (i.e., the Day of the Lord, the Day of Christ—the Wrath of the Lamb is clearly revealed).

We have in the past, and to some extent in this presentation, determined that man was allotted some 6,000 years prior to the Seventh Day, or the final 1,000 years unto the completion of the 7,000 years.

The following two charts validate the Epic or Grand Jubilee Cycles which attest to man’s days being 6,000 years and broken down into 12 segments of 490 years each with either Moses’ life of 120 years coming after the first five sets of 490 years with seven sets of 490 years thereafter equaling 6,000 years or 490 X 12 = 5,880 years + 120 years = 6,000 years.

epic jubilee 120 at end

Please notice that the final 120 years are arbitrary from 1905 AD unto 2025 AD.  The commencement of the 6,000 years was in the year 3975 BC + 6,000 years = 2025 A.D. or 3975 + 2025 = 6,000 years.  The Creation of Adam was, interestingly enough not in 4004 B.C. according to Bishop James Ussher but 29 years later which is the age of Jesus at the commencement of His ministry (Luke 3:23).

No Man Knows the Day nor the Hour – So, should we?

We have been severely criticized for “date setting” by well-meaning, but theologically naïve brethren.  How pompous of me to suggest as much!  Look, everyone from Isaac Newton to Harold Camping, along with Ronald Weinland (2008, God’s Final Witness—World-Wide Church of God splinter); and a multitude of Historicists like the folks who became the Seventh-Day Adventists who endured the Great Disappointment and their outcroppings, the Jehovah Witnesses—all of whom from 1843 to 1844, 1873 to 1914 and on and on, sliced and diced various dates of the Second Coming and all were sorely disappointment and made theological excuses for their bogus conjectures.

When Weinland’s date of the Second Coming didn’t pan out, he stole a page from Ellen G. White (who claimed that Christ had entered the temple to commence the Investigative Judgment in 1844), and “spiritualized” his mishap:

“May 27th [2012] has come and gone, so how can I say this is still the day of Christ’s return?  The answer is a matter of God’s revelation which is spiritual in nature, but having a definite physical outcome.  It is prophetic.  I did not know that when I stated this was the ‘day’ of Christ’s coming.  I viewed it in a physical manner until God revealed that it was spirit.” (Source:  Ronald Weinland’s blog, May 30 entry.

Why we rely upon these dubious sources instead of Apostolic affirmations and Old Testament prophets is beyond me.  Beware when you hear:  “The Lord told me so!”  Worse yet:  “Look here is the Christ!” or “There!” – “Do not believe it” (Matthew 24:23).

For those of us who espouse the Testimony of Jesus shall be embraced by the Church until the very coming of the Lord in Glory the quest to know just how near we are to His Coming is greatly enhanced—even those who are pre-trib possess a certain angst about His Coming; especially, since in the West (headed up by the USA) Christian political activism has become a spent force with the gridlock in Washington, D.C. and the government-sponsored moral decline of the nation now at full throttle, and descending as we consider the matter.

We are fast approaching the end of the Six-Days of the “Millennial Week” wholly embraced by the fledgling Church and nigh all the Early Church Fathers.  Amillennialists crept into the churches primarily celebrating and justifying the Roman Empire’s embrace of Christianity leading to the elimination of chiliasm (a literal Millennium yet to be upon the return of Christ at the end of 6,000 years)—now, the Devil has been bound for a 1,000 years so that the unfettered preaching of the gospel can abound throughout the whole earth and then “the end will come.”

Again, in my text, SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS and ON THE EARTH…Man’s Days are Numbered and he is Measured I have taken those biblical chronologies and narrowed their timeframes as to when that Millenarian bliss shall commence.  When doing so, I realize the fur will fly but I have had no qualms in distancing myself from the fabrications of past interlopers whose “inspirational claims” are biblically deficient—it is time you to take the unsealed scroll and join the happy throng who now “run to and fro and search anxiously through the Book” for “knowledge of God’s purposes as revealed by His prophets shall be increased and become great” at this time:   WHEN ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE FINISHED (Daniel 12:4, 7).

But my critics ponder:  Does God really desire to peer into these matters of His Coming in Glory—why not surprise us by the coming of Christ in Glory?  Maybe we’re wasting our time—are we touching the ark?  Could we be slain for our sin—for no man knows the day nor the hour, right?

The word of the Apostle Peter seems to encourage our quest to know His timing; to wit:

10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory (or “glories”) that should follow.

12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1 Peter 1:10-12, KJV)

Daniel was given time-sensitive information in the most meticulous manner.  In Daniel 9 it was altogether spelled out as to the “cutting off” of the Messiah after 62 week, preceding by 7 weeks for a total of 69 weeks—but Messiah came and went and most did not “see it coming” – therefore did Jesus say:

43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, 44 and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.” (Luke 19:43-44)

Yes, Jesus rebuked the religious leadership of His day for their obstinacy in not know the timing of His coming the first time . . . and what of His Second Coming?  For Daniel is told:  “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.  Many shall be purified, made white, refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall under, but the wise shall understand” (Daniel 12:9-10).  Even so, Matthew inserted the words after Jesus announced the Abomination of Desolation:  “Whoever reads, let him understand” (Matthew 24:15).

Daniel was more than anxious to know (Daniel 12:8)—but the book was sealed until “the time of the end.”  Is this the “time of the end”—according to Revelation, the book is unsealed or, if you would, the seals are being broken as we speak!

The terms “day” and “hour” are virtually in default, misinterpreted.  The “hour” is not the “big hand” on some clock.  Jesus spoke of the “hour” in terms of a timeframe; to wit:  “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the HOUR of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.”  Babylon’s demise is announced thusly:  “The hour of his judgment has come” (Rev. 14:7) . . . or “In the same hour there was a great earthquake” (Rev. 11:13).  The ten kings shall “reign for one hour with the Beast” (Rev. 17:12)—i.e., 42 months.

Indeed, “no one knows” is akin to saying:  No one has ever swum the English Channel . . . but that does not mean no one ever will!   Pretribbers and Amils. use this passage of “no one knows the day nor the hour” to reinforce their claims that the Second Coming of Christ is altogether a sign-less and imminent event—with the pretribs holding on to the rapture in this context.  This sophisticated claptrap is altogether unbiblical in its posture—since the context of these verses is deeply embedded with the confines of a multitude of SIGNS; “the leaves of the trees.”

A whole series of events must chronologically play out before the coming of Christ—the pretribs know this; and that is precisely why their secret-pretrib rapture must take place before any of this chronological “activity” takes place!  The “hour” has to do with timeframes and “day” connotes the actual day of His coming—i.e., “immediately after the tribulation of those days” (Matt. 24:29).

The mistranslation of the word “knows” has much to do with the confusion found in this text.  Literally, it should read:  “. . . no one has seen . . . Watch then, because you have not seen . . . . that if the home owner had seen . . . . Through this you also become ready [through “seeing”] (Matthew 24:36, 42-44 excerpts).  The Greek word is a verb used in the perfect tense wherein a completed action persists and continues through to the present—οιδεν—“see.”   The precise time is irrelevant here but the “timeframe” is time specific.

“Which WATCH the thief is coming” (Matt. 24:43).  This is a term used in the Roman Empire for guards to be posted during certain times in the evening hours (6-9 p.m. was the first “watch” – 9 p.m. to midnight the second “watch” and so forth).

If you are going to “watch” you need to know what time frame—which watch?  If the home owner would have known the time frame, the watch, he would have had sufficient information and would have been ready.  Ignorance of not knowing or “seeing” the timeframe, as far as Jesus was concerned, was not only essential, but downright dangerous not to know the timeframe!

The disciples were clueless regarding His Coming in Glory—but Jesus clarified to them and prepared them . . . not by saying:  “you need to be in a state of readiness” but by telling them to “become ready” – Strong’s 1096:  γίνομαι ετοιμοι—to become ready—the disciples were going to “become ready.”  Their knowledge was lacking—so Jesus was telling them how they could become ready.  The master of the house and the thief parable was used by Jesus to show the seriousness of arriving at a state of readiness—the “process” was all-consuming.  They needed to know the timeframe of the “tribulation”—events leading up to the Seventieth Week and events within the timeframe of the Seventieth Week.

Furthermore, “faithful and wise stewards” who truly care for their servants (flock) will “give them their food at the proper time” and will be handsomely reward in so doing:  “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?” (Luke 12:41).

Brethren—those among you who claim to “feed the flock” as a diligent shepherd (dare I say pastor)—if you plan on receiving an award from the master . . . better “get ready” and start feeding the flock these “preparation morsels” lest they not see the hour of His coming and find themselves ill-prepared for the thief!

You think this an “option”?  Listen up:  Those who neglect the words of Jesus will be “cut in two and appointed their portion with the unbelievers” . . . others who neglect such preparatory preachment to the flock will be “beaten with many stripes” or “beaten with few stripes” (What’s your preference?).  No wonder the Dispensationalists would prefer that Luke 12:43-48 has nothing to do with the Church!

Know this . . . the next time you hear a pastor pontificate:  “No one knows the day nor the hour” and then follows it up by stating Jesus might not come back for 400 years; think this:  “My Master is delaying His coming” – methinks this pastor could care less about Jesus’ warning and is off “eating and drinking” ill-preparing his flock for the Coming of the Lord and will suffer the consequences for his lackadaisical or even frivolous attitude toward the coming of the Master . . . for “on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware” – so comes the thief!

Now when you muse over these passages from Paul to the Thessalonians; think back to the words of Jesus aforementioned:

“For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night . . . But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief” (1 Thess. 5:1-6 excerpts).

Later, Paul had to go in-depth as to the Coming of the Lord:

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.  5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?  (2 Thess. 2:1-5)

It is altogether obvious from these and other passages that the Apostles desired to fully equip believers in “getting them ready” for the Lord’s Coming in Glory—it is an awesome responsibility; especially, upon those stewards who care for the Lord’s servants on behalf of the Master . . . a frightful fate awaits those stewards who take this matter lightly—literally, they are considered “wicked servants.”

Therefore, the body of evidence rests decidedly upon brethren who diligently seek, as Daniel, to know the hour of His coming; to wit:

“Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament . . . many shall run to and fro throughout the Book, and knowledge of the purposes of God as revealed by the prophets shall become great and increase . . . none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand” (Daniel 12, excerpts).

With that as a backdrop to our studies, let us continue our efforts to “become ready” by delving into His Word as we see the Day approaching . . .

The Missing 243 Years of the Seder Olam Rabbah

The research conducted by the late J. R. Church (Prophecy in the News) in his classic text, Bloodline of the Antichrist gave chronological and historical evidence proving that the Seder Olam (Hebrew Calendar, cir. 160 A.D.) was calculated by rabbinic authorities of the day which brings us to today’s Hebrew calendar date of 5776 AM. Church’s text, to this researcher, unequivocally proved that the Seder Olam Rabbah (The Book of the Order of the World) date is off by some 243 years. Both J. R. Church and the Seder Olam (so it would appear—if the Seder Olam is off by some 243 years on the positive side) affirm that man is given some 6,000 years upon this globe to match the sixth day of his creation.

Rabbinic and Early Church Fathers and many other Christian theologians since this time assert the 1,000 years as a day to arrive at the 6 days of man or 6,000 years and Christians normally use Peter’s words that “one day is as a thousand years” to buttress their conviction on the 6,000 years allotted to man.

Archbishop James Ussher, the prelate of Ireland (Anglican) is perhaps the foremost chronologist in Christian circles. It was he who concluded from his 10,000 volume library (many of the texts are today under lock and one of a kind) that Adam was created in the year 4004 B.C. and that Jesus was born in 4 B.C. Based on this original and brilliant chronologist, J. R. Church’s present tally would be equal to 6,019 years or 4004 B.C. (Gregorian) + 2015 A.D. = 6,019 years.  Thus, the Seder Olam year of 5776 AM + 243 years = 6,019 years.

That said, this author, unbeknownst to him regarding the Seder Olam’s calculations—which calculations J. R. Church felt were either a glaring oversight of the reign of the Persian Kings or PERHAPS the intent to obfuscate the Messiah’s fulfillment of Daniel 9:24-27 (delegating the identity of the Messiah to someone else in history past).  Church records the following:

“. . . the Seder Olam Rabbah . . . was compiled in the mid-second century  by Yose ben Halafta (died A.D. 160).  Halafta was a student of the famed Rabbi Akiva ben Joseph (the father of the Mishnah).  During the Bar Kokhbah revolt against the Romans (A.D. 132-135), the 90-year-old Akiva gave his blessing to the revolution by proclaiming that Bar Kokhbah was the “Star out of Jacob” (Num. 24:17)—Israel’s long awaited messiah!  Bar Kokhbah was killed in A.D. 135 and the Jewish revolt was crushed . . . over the next twenty years, Yose ben Halafta and his colleagues compiled the Seder Olam Rabbah for one primary purpose—to make Daniel’s seventy weeks point to Bar Kokhbah as the Jewish Messiah.” (Daniel Reveals the Bloodline of the Antichrist, J. R. Church, 2010, p. 242).

This author had originally calculated the chronology of the Bible to confirm that the creation of Adam was in 3975 B.C. and the birth of Jesus to be in 1 B.C./1 A.D.  (1 B.C. to 1 A.D. being 1 full year [Jesus being born on Passover was then 9 months old at the close of the 1 A.D. side of that one year] and counting 2 A.D. through 32 A.D. an additional 31 years and then unto Passover when Messiah was “cut off” some 3 months into 33 A.D.—He would have been a full 32 years of age and would have reached His 33rd birthday in the year 33 A.D.—Jesus was crucified on His birthday!

Therefore the more accurate Hebrew date (as of 2015 A.D.) would be 3975 A.D. + 2015 A.D. = 5990 AM (today’s 2015 A.D. date—not 5776 AM) whereby we are some 10 years from the 6,000 years allotted to man.  Adding in the 243-year discrepancy to the Seder Olam (5776 AM + 243 years = 6,019 years) we should now be in the year 6019 A.D.  J. R. Church dates the creation of Adam using Bishop’s Ussher’s 4004 B.C. date (Ibid., p. 267); consequently, since we are now in the year 2015 A.D., therefore, 4004 B.C. + 2015 A.D. = 6,019 years have now transpired—we have already exceeded man’s 6,000 year allotment by some 19 years according to Church’s calculations and those of the Seder Olam.

In resetting the Seder Olam to its immediate and more accurate date at 5990 AM (our 2015 A.D. date) and add the 10 years to 6000 AM we will find ourselves in the Gregorian year of 2025 A.D. (2015 A.D. + 10 years = 2025 A.D.).  Thus, if some 6019 years have already transpired, and we add these 10 additional years we will arrive at 6,029 years.  This is some 29 years beyond the 6,000 years allotted to man, which in turn is the very age of Messiah when He commenced His earthly ministry; to wit: “Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age” (Luke 3:23).

I find it somewhat fascinating that the Seder Olam, if integrated into the research done by J. R. Church, and that of Bishop Ussher’s 4004 B.C. start date/creation date find BOTH of them some 29 years beyond the 6000 years matching the age of Jesus at the commencement of His earthly ministry.

I do not think that this appropriation (consideration of the additional 29 years) was in the original text of J. R. Church or that he had even considered its implications when he wrote his text back in 2010 A.D. Clearly, Church’s chronologies use Bishop Ussher’s creation date of Adam to be in 4004 B.C. (page 267); therefore, even in the year 2010 AD, at a minimum, the number of years would have been 4004 + 2010 = 6,014 years with the Seder Olam at the time of Church’s writing to have been 5771 AM + 243 years (missing) = 6,014 years – Church was already 14 years over the 6,000 years allotted to man.

If man’s days are 6,000 years in number, and we are currently at 5,990 years (3975 B.C. to 2015 A.D. = 5,990 years) then the year 2025 A.D. would be the year of the Second Coming of Messiah and the commencement of the future Seventieth Week of Daniel would be in the year 2018 A.D. concluding in the year 2025 A.D.
