THE DAYS OF NOAH MOSES – GENESIS 58

“And the LORD said, ‘My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh, yet his days shall be onehundred and twenty years.’” (Genesis 6:3)
The phrase in Hebrew for “one hundred and twenty years” reads like a mathematical word problem:
“I’m thinking of a number, which has been doubled and then multiplied by 100; what is that original number set?” Moses’ lifespan was 120 years (Deut. 34:7).
The “Shemitah” was “seven Sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven Sabbath of years shall be to you fortynine years” (Lev. 25:817) – If man’s days are 6,000 years (1 Peter 3:78 – “one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” – in reference “until the day of judgment and perdition”). Therefore, the original number set was 24.50 which was doubled that of 49 ÷ 2 = 24.50 and then multiplied by 100 = 2,450 years. Note: the “Long Count Jubilee Cycle" is 50 years or 120 x 50 = 6,000 years – 120 Long Count Jubilee Cycles within 6,000 years.
Moses’ birth occurred in 1525 BC + 2,450 years (the total of the biblical genealogy from Adam’s age (begot Seth when Adam was 130 years of age) to Moses’ birth; therefore, Adam was created in the year 3975 BC or 1525 + 2450 = 3975 BC. The “sojourn of the children of Israel from the Exodus in 1445 BC to Isaac (the “seed of promise” who begat Jacob at age 60 who commenced the “sojourn” into Egypt was in the year 1875 BC (1445 + 430 = 1875 BC. “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made . . . who is Christ . . . the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later” (Gal. 3:1517) – Abraham’s “seed of promise” was Isaac (Gal. 4:28 – “We, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.”).
From the Exodus in 1445 BC (the law) + “430 years later” = 1875 BC unto Isaac at the age of 52. Isaac was married at age 40 (Gen. 25:20). After 12 years he pleaded with God for a son – 8 years later “Isaac was 60 years of age and begat Esau and Jacob” (Gen. 25:26). From Adam’s Creation to the birth of Abraham there are 1948 years. Abraham was 100 years of age when he begat Isaac (Gen. 21:5) or 1948 years + 100 = 2048 years when Isaac was born + 52 years when the promise was given = 2,100 years (21). It is now the year 3975 BC less 2,100 years = 1875 BC (Isaac was 52 years of age—the “Seed of Promise”).
Added to 2,100 years is the 430 years (from promise [Isaac at 52 years old] to the law/Exodus) = 2,530 years. Or, 1875 BC less 430 years = 1445 BC. However, Moses lived for 120 years – when the law/Exodus occurred he was 80 years of age (40 years in the wilderness or 80 + 40 = 120 years before he died); therefore, we must subtract 80 years from 2,530 years = 2,450 years or 1525 BC the birth of Moses. This is the “24.50 x 100 = 2,450 years” found in Gen. 6:3 + 120 years of Moses’ life = 2,570 years (or 2,570 years less 120 years = 2,450 years). There are 3,430 years when subtracting 2,570 years from 6,000 years or 2,570 years + 3,430 years = 6,000 years or 2,450 years + 120 years (Moses’ life) + 3,430 years = 6,000 years. There are 5 sets of 490 years in 2,450 years and 7 sets of 490 years in 3,430 years + 120 years = 6,000 years.
