In Light of Daniel's 70-Week Prophecy

By: Douglas W. Krieger

The rebuilding of the wall is found in the book of Nehemiah when Nehemiah went to King Artaxerxes Longimanus (the 6th King from Darius the Mede) in the “twentieth year [of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus--465-425 BC] . . . as I was in Shushan" [Susa] the citadel" [aka “fortified palace”] (Nehemiah 1:1).  This took place in the year 445 BC (King Artaxerxes Longimanus reigned from 465-425 BC--so the 20th year of his reign was in 445 BC).  This was nigh 92 years after the decree of Cyrus the Great to return the Jews to rebuild the “city and the sanctuary” in Jerusalem; and, as well some 43/42 years after the ending of the 7 Weeks of Daniel's prophecy cir. 488 BC (488 BC less 42 years = 445 BC).

I purposefully place this time frame at 42 years in that a portion of 488 BC and a portion of 445 BC could readily be, as stated, "portions" so that we could easily be looking at one year in the 488 BC and 445 BC dates--for the month of Cheshvan (aka Heshvan) is the eighth month on the Hebrew calendar in the year 445 BC; and we know that in 488 BC when the terminus of the 49th year took place (7 weeks) could have been in the month of Adar, when, as well, the Second Temple was finished (Ezra 6:15)--in other words at the tail end of 488 BC (meaning, when we use 488 BC we are nigh into 487 BC).  All that said, there definitely appears to be a 42-year GAP between the terminus of the 49 years (7 Weeks of Daniel's 70-Week prophecy) and the year (445 BC) in which Nehemiah approached King Artaxerxes Longimanus (his reign being 465-425 BC).

Likewise, it took Nehemiah 6 months (Cheshvan/Heshvan) to approach King Artaxerxes Longimanus--still within the 20th year of his reign (Nehemiah 1:1, 2:1 - Cheshvan to Nisan--see Hebrew Festival calendar below--using the 30-day prophetic month).  Knowing me:  Why six months?  And, of course, why 42 years from 488 BC to 445 BC?

The 42 years can be explained in this manner:

42 years X 360 degrees = 15,120 or the "1512" (fracturing into two parts the GPG in that 756 feet X 2 = 1,512 feet and "1512" in Greek gematria is "Apocalypsis" or "Apocalypse"), which is, again, a time of judgment and testing--the Wall had NOT been completed--Judah was being "tested" once again AND this occurred during the 87-year GAP (the GAP between the 7 Weeks and the 62 Weeks = 488 BC to 401 BC) . . . Nehemiah's approach to King Artaxerxes Longimanus was in 445 BC, the 20th year of his reign.

6 months X 30 days = 180 days or "18" - for no matter what the testing (1512), Nehemiah's 6-month time frame demonstrates that he was doing so for the sake of the Holy City, Jerusalem--her "earthly expression" as seen in 1512/2 = 756.

Thus, it was in the same “twentieth year” in which it “came to pass in the month of Nisan” that Nehemiah appeared before King Artaxerxes Longimanus (i.e., in 445 BC for King Artaxerxes Longimanus reigned from 465-425 BC—some 40 years) in the year 445 BC--the "twentieth year" of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus.

All this to say that the initial 49 years in the building and subsequent environs of the Second Temple took place between 537-488 BC (during the reigns of Cyrus the Great [537-530 BC]; Cambyses/Artaxerxes [529-522]; and Darius II/Artaxerxes the Great or Darius the Great [521-485 BC].  The Second Temple's completion within at least a 21-year time frame (i.e., in the sixth year of the reign of Darius II, Darius/Artaxerxes the Great—Ezra 6:15 in the month of Adar or the twelfth month on the Hebrew calendar or mid-February on the Julian/Gregorian calendar) or between 537-515 BC

Let me repeat (typical of a math teacher), this provides what appears to be a replica of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit in feet—i.e., 25.20 inches is equal to 2.1 feet or “21” (25.20 inches ÷12 inches [1 foot] = 2.1 feet) for there are 21 years (HSC = 2.1 ft.) between 536-515 BC (21 years) for the completion and dedication of the Second Temple.

That said, allow me to further substantiate the “21 years” in the building of the Second Temple.  The fact that the initial decree by Cyrus the Great to return the Jews to Jerusalem deserved additional time from the decree to the actual building commencement of the Second Temple itself . . . for we read:

“Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, … that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom [i.e., to return the Jews to Jerusalem] to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah” – Ezra 1:3) . . . “And when the seventh month (Tishrei) had come, and the children of Israel were in the cities [of Judah], the people gathered together as one man to Jerusalem” (Ezra 3:1).

Readily, this could simply mean an additional 7 months passed if the Decree took place in the first month (Nisan); thus, the return of the Jews from Babylon – nigh 50,000 of them took around 7 months.  However, it says:  “From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD, although the foundation of the temple of the LORD had not been laid” (Ezra 3:6); therefore, the spiritual significance of the ALTAR displays the immediate need, even without the Temple.  Believers should take serious note of this sequence of events . . . “measure the worshipers at the Altar” in Revelation 11:1 are the ones who are measured by the Almighty, for He owns them.

Consecration in the believer’s life is paramount!  It goes to the heart of measuring the Temple--the "deeper we go" into the measurement of the Temple, the more we see it is the Altar that stands out; and more so, the very worshipers at the Altar are to be measured!  Do not think that this measuring of the temple, altar, and worshipers found in the Revelation, is somehow apart from the experience of the Jews who returned from their captivity to build the Second Temple--as soon as they returned they set up the Altar and commenced sacrifice (without the temple) - they, at this time were the true worshipers who had consecrated themselves for the building of the Second Temple.

Often, we as believers think:  "I've got to get this building business going" - without any consideration that consecration comes first and foremost.  Without the "Altar Experience" there can be NO TEMPLE!  Yes, the Altar commits us all to consecration--due to His absolute "once for all Sacrifice" upon the Cross.  We are committed to Him because He was absolute for us!  Then, as a result of the Cross in our lives, there can be the Temple--the building together of God's people to be the House of the Lord.

"Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there" (Rev. 11:1).

The construction of the actual Second Temple begins:

“Now in the second month of the second year of their coming to the house of God at Jerusalem, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the rest of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all those who had come out of the captivity to Jerusalem, began work and appointed the Levites from twenty years old and above to oversee the work of the house of the LORD” (Ezra 3:8) . . . the foundation work had begun.

The “second month of the second year” simply means that when all the Jews gathered from all the cities together at Jerusalem (Ezra 3:1) it was the month of Tishrei (the seventh month).  This takes place in the first year of the reign of Cyrus the Great (537 BC).  Then an additional seven months transpires unto the month of Lyar (the “second month of the second year”Ezra 3:8) of the reign of King Cyrus the Great (536 BC).

Remember, the Second Temple “was finished on the third day of the month of Adar” (Ezra 6:15) which was, as well, “in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius” [aka Darius the Great, Darius II and also known as Artaxerxes the Great and Ahasuerus - married to Queen Esther].

Adar was the 12th month on the Hebrew calendar.  By calibrating all of this to determine if 21 precise Hebrew years transpire from the laying of the Temple’s foundation unto its completion and dedication becomes altogether essential in that the "break-down" of the years of 7, 8 and 6 constitute such spectacular insights into the Plan and Purpose of the Almighty throughout the the ages!  More of the 7, 8 and 6-year breakdown within the 21 years for the completion of the Second Temple (536-515 BC) will be given later.

If, indeed, the seventh month when the Jews gathered at Jerusalem took place the first year of the reign of Cyrus the Great, then that still would have been in the year 537 BC.  Then the second month of the second year (2nd year of King Cyrus' reign in 536 BC) when the actual work on the Second Temple commenced, would have been in 536 BC--the actual work on the Second Temple begins in earnest that year.  That being the case, the Second Temple’s completion took place in the sixth year of the reign of Darius II (521-485 BC; thus:  521 BC less six years = 515 BC); consequently, if we deduct from the year 536 BC some 21 years we arrive at 515 BC.

As far as the precision of the Hebrew calendar concerns.  If the month of Lyar begins the countdown (second month of the second year) and the Second Temple is finished in the 12th month of the year 515 BC (Adar) that would leave scarcely two months’ time to arrive at a full 21 years (536 BC to 515 BC) on the Hebrew Calendar (“second month” is ambiguous for a precise start date of that particular month but a finish date of 3 Adar, the twelfth month, is exceedingly precise).

Suffice it to say, the building of the Second Temple took precisely 21 years.  The difference of a 360-day prophetic time clock to one that is 365.2425 days over a 21-year time frame is 21 X 5.2425 = 110 days.  Could it be that from the extremity of the “second month” (Lyar) to Adar 3 (the twelfth month) are found these 110 days . . . counting 28 days in Adar, 30 days in Nisan and 30 days in Lyar appears exceedingly close giving us 88 days?  Even that is consequential and could readily connote “resurrection” (the number “8”) …but most assuredly, 21 years appears evident in the rebuilding of the Second Temple.

Again, this 21 years is reflective of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit; while using the ancient Hebrew 360-day calendar, we find that 21 years X 360 = 7,560 days or 360 degrees of a circle (orbit of the earth around her sun) X 21 such orbits is equal to 7,560 degrees.  This “756” once again is reflective of that “Altar unto the LORD, at the Giza of Egypt in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border (or GIZA)” (Isaiah 19:19).  Our work done on the Great Pyramid of Giza (GPG) and conclusion that its builder was Shem, the son of Noah, and his immediate progeny, could readily have built the GPG between the years after the flood, for Shem lived 500 years after the Deluge (i.e., from 2819-2319 BC—a timeframe more than accommodating in the building of the GPG[10]).

The “756” is the base edge measurement of the GPG determined by the famed archeologist/metrologist, Sir Matthew William Flinders Petrie in his measurements of the same during the 1880s.  Petrie decided on “756” feet as the original intent of the builders.  If we take the Hebrew Sacred Cubit at 2.1 feet and divide it into the four base edges of the GPG (i.e., 4 X 756 feet) we arrive at 3,024 feet ÷ 2.1 feet, we discover:  1,440 Hebrew Sacred Cubits, which in turn is reflective of the New Jerusalem’s “144” Cubit Wall (Rev. 21:17) or of her square footage found on each of her six cubed faces in that 12,000 furlongs X 12,000 furlongs = 144,000,000 sq. furlongs X 6 faces of any cube = 864,000,000 sq. furlongs which “864” is a fractal/resemblance of the sun’s diameter at 864,000 miles – therefore, is there not a reason behind the statement in Revelation:

“The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it.  The Lamb is its light” (Rev. 21:23).

All this to say that the 21 years in the construction of the Second Temple is done under the “measurement of the Almighty” – no matter what the frustration!  It would appear that fallen man would indefinitely delay the “work of God” --stopping it completely for 8 years--(529-521 BC), but even that frustration is part and parcel of the “timing of the Lord” – He will achieve what He is after no matter what appears to constrain.

Likewise, this said, as well, if the year 515 BC (the sixth year of the reign of Darius II) provides the completion and dedication of the Second Temple, that would mean from 537 BC (the decree of Cyrus the Great) unto 515 BC, some 22 years had elapsed, leaving an additional 27 years to complete the “seven weeks” of Daniel’s prophecy (i.e., 22 + 27 = 49 years--or 49 years broken down into two segments:  537-515 BC = 22 years and 515-488 BC = 27 years).

In addition to this "27-year number set" we are able to produce a "30-year number set" starting at the terminus of the 49 years or first week of Daniel's 70-Week prophecy in 488 BC.  The 30-year number set is provided to us if we count the first decree given to Ezra by King Artaxerxes Longimanus in the year 458 BC (Ezra 7:7-8)--it being during the 7th year of his reign (his reign being 465-425 BC). These 30 years from the terminus of the 7-weeks prophecy in 488 BC unto the seventh year of King Artaxerxes Longimanus' reign in 458 BC [i.e., 30 years or 488-458 BC--Ezra 7:7-8) clearly provides us an amazing discovery if we utilize the orbits of the earth around the sun at 360 degrees each year or by using the 360-day prophetic year of the Hebrews:

(1)   27 years X 360 (days of a year or degrees of an orbit) = 9,072 or “972” (515-488 BC)

(2)   30 years X 360 (days of a year or degrees of an orbit) = 10,800 or “18” (488-458 BC)

(3)   57 years X 360 (days of a year or degrees of an orbit) = 20,520 or "2520" (515-458 BC)

These configurations reflect aspects of the “earthly” expression of that Altar unto the LORD at the Border of Egypt (aka the “Earthly Expression” of that Monument unto the Lord of the New Jerusalem bearing many of her measurements found in Revelation 21:16-17—e.g., the “1,440" Hebrew Sacred Cubit base perimeter of the GPG) AND the very Dimensions of Paradise of the New Jerusalem—the Heavenly City; thus, both the earthly and heavenly dimensions are seen in the “972” (756 X 12 = 9,072) and the “18” ("10,800" = "18" or 18,000 mile, 12-edges of the New Jerusalem cube). Finally, in considering the "27" and the "30" in this "earthly" and "heavenly" perspective, we are certain that their COMBINED effort produces the measurement of God in that 57 years is equal to the Hebrew Sacred Cubit's expression of 25.20 inches or "2520."

The 756-ft. base edge of the Great Pyramid of Giza X 12 (cubed) is equal to 9,072 linear feet or “972” and the base edge of the heavenly New Jerusalem is measured at 12,000 furlongs X 660 ft. (one furlong) = 7,920,000 feet ÷ 5,280 feet in one mile = 1,500 linear miles X 12 edges of a cube = 18,000 linear miles or “18.”

So, it would appear, that the 27 years from 515 BC (the completion of the Second Temple) unto the terminus of the first 7 weeks of Daniel’s prophecy in 488 BC – AND – the 30 years between the terminus of the seven weeks in 488 BC unto the seventh year of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus in 458 BC are purposefully “earmarked” by the Almighty to assure us of His Divine Intention in bringing together both the Earth (27 years) and the Heavens (30 years) – just as was seen in Jacob’s Ladder between Earth and Heaven at which point Jacob called the place of his vision:  El Bethel – God, the House of God and erected stones, then anointed them in his declaration.  Then it was in John’s gospel (John 1:43-51) that Jesus disclosed the meaning of Jacob’s ladder:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

For it is only the Son of Man who can bridge the “dimensional divide” between Earth and Heaven – for He is Son of Man (Earth) AND Son of God (Heaven) – for as Son of Man is to the Earth, the seen, even so is the Son of God to the Heavens, the unseen.  He brings God to Man as the Son of God, and then brings man into God as the Son of Man.  Thus, the anchor date of the terminus of the first 49 years (the 7 weeks) abides altogether significant with its remaining 27 years to completion and the additional 30 years unto the decree set by Artaxerxes Longimanus--TOGETHER these 57 years express the Divine Measurement of God seen in the Hebrew Sacred Cubit's 25.20 inches or 57 years or orbiting the earth X 360 degrees in a circle/orbit = 20,520 degrees which is a fractal/resemblance of the 25.20 inches of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit.

One may “think” that the reign of these Persian Kings and their subsequent decrees, and even delays, were inconsequential to the divine schematic—NOT SO—they are altogether of supreme significance!

Now, let’s consider, just briefly, the Persian king who proceeded King Artaxerxes Longimanus . . .

(5)     Xerxes – the Fifth King - 485-465 BC (but the fourth king of Daniel 11:2)

King Xerxes was the son of Queen Vashti, not a son of Esther.  He launched a major attack on Greece cir. 480 BC (made famous in the film “300”) and reigned from 485-465 BC (some 20 years). Frankly, it appears that Queen Esther had no children.

The 87-year GAP between the first 7 weeks of the 70-Week Prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 and the 62 Weeks of that same prophecy (488-401 BC) continues throughout his 20-year reign.

The Greco-Persian Wars commencing at the Battle of Thermopylae (made famous by the film “300”) places Xerxes center stage in his attempt to conquer Greece.[11]  It is this Xerxes who claims the title as the FOURTH KING found in Daniel 11:2:

“And the fourth shall be far richer than them all, by his strength, through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.

(6)     Artaxerxes (son of Xerxes) – this is the Longimanus (long hand) - the Sixth King – 465-425 BC.

It appears that the Artaxerxes, King of Persia, found in Ezra 7:1 to whom Ezra appeared “in the seventh year of the king’s” reign (Ezra. 7:8) is NOT the same Artaxerxes the Great (King Ahasuerus who married Queen Esther/Hadassah--521-485 BC) but is Artaxerxes Longimanus (465-425 BC) who made decrees for Jerusalem’s embellishments in the seventh and twentieth years of his reign (Ezra 7:7 and Nehemiah 2 – in 458 BC and again in 445 BC).

His entire reign took place during the GAP between the Seventh Week and the Sixty-Second Week (the GAP was from 488 BC until 401 BC some 87 years).  We congratulate the Jewish Encyclopedia for getting the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus accurate insofar as his reign concerns (465-425 BC - he died in 425 BC).  He had a 40-year reign.

Ezra wrote the book of Ezra – his name, however, does not appear in the text until Ezra 7:1 during the reign of Artaxerxes Longimanus . . . Ezra simply shows up on the scene in 458 BC (7 years into the reign of Artaxerxes Logimanus) or put another way, some 57 years after the completion of the Second Temple (i.e., 515 BC to 458 BC = 57 years).  Finally, expressed in another way, after the first seven weeks (i.e., 49 years) of Daniel’s prophecy (537-488 BC) – the 49 years or 7 X 7 = 49 years – another 30 years elapses whereby it is now the seventh year in the reign of a new king, King Artaxerxes Longimanus; the year being 458 BC; therefore, from 488 BC unto 458 BC there are 30 years.

Initially, from 537 BC to 515 BC (the 21/22 years for the completion of the Second Temple) brought us to the year 515 BC; therefore, from 515 BC to 488 BC--the terminus of the 49 years--gives us another 27 years.  Thus, 27 years + 30 years = 57 years.

If we are considering "year segments" between 488 BC and 401 BC we find that there are ostensibly four major markers within the 87-year GAP between the seventh and the sixty-second week.

(1)     488-458 BC - From the close of the 7 Weeks (Dan. 9:25) unto the First Decree under King Artaxerxes Longimanus -

30 Years - Ezra received the Decree from King Longimanus in 7th Year of his reign (465-458 BC) (Ezra 7:7)

(2)     458-445 BC - From the First Decree of Longimanus unto the Second Decree of Longimanus in the 20th year of his reign (Neh. 2:1)

13 Years - Nehemiah received the Decree from King Longimanus in the 20th Yr. of his reign (465-445 BC (Neh. 2:1)

(3)     445-433 BC = From the Second Decree of King Longimanus in 445 BC to the 32nd year of his reign (Neh. 5:14; 13:6) or 465 less 32 years = 433 BC or 465-433 BC = 32nd year of his reign.

12 Years - (Nehemiah 5:14) Nehemiah's Decree/Governorship of Judah in 20th year of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus and for 12 years thereafter he and his brothers did not eat the governor's provisions which were due them; thus unto the 32nd Yr. of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus.  For 12 years until the 32nd year they lived under these restrictions -- they rebuilt the wall and its gates. (Wall finished in 52 days - on Elul 25 - Nehemiah 6:15). The question abides:  Was it a 12-year time frame or simply 52 days wherein the wall was completed--there's a big difference, isn't there?

NOTE:  Artaxerxes Longimanus reigned for an additional 8 years before dying in 425 BC (433-425 BC)

(4)     433-401 BC = From the 32nd Yr. of King Longimanus unto the start of the 62 Weeks in 401 BC (Daniel 9:25-26

"There shall be seven weeks AND sixty-two weeks...and after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself")

32 Years - From 433-425 BC were the final years of King Artaxerxes Longimanus.  The "troublesome times" - three Persian Kings (Xerxes - #7; Secundianus #8, Ochus-Darius #9) were all the sons of Artaxerxes Logimanus; all three were problematic.  The 32 years between 433 BC to 401 BC are broken down as follows:

(a)   433-425 BC - 8 years - King Artaxerxes Longimanus

(b)   425 BC - 1 year - King Xerxes - First son of Artaxerxes Longimanus

(c)   424-423 - 1 year - King Secundianus - Second son of Artaxerxes Longimanus

(d)   423-404 - 19 years - King Ochus-Darius - Third Son of Artaxerxes Longimanus

(e)   404-401 - 3 years - King Arsicas Artaxerxes (Arsicas reigned from 404-361 BC)

From the above distribution, we realize that some 30 years elapsed from 488 BC to 458 BC - from the end of the seven weeks to the first decree given by King Artaxerxes Longimanus in the Seventh Year of his reign.  Then, between his First Decree in 458 BC unto his Second Decree in 445 BC an additional 13 years elapsed; finally, under Nehemiah a "Third Marker" is noted regarding the 32nd year of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus to build the wall in the 32nd year of his reign wherein another 12 years had elapsed; therefore from 458 BC through 433 BC some two decrees and a marker were made by Artaxerxes Longimanus or in reference to him over the course of 25 years (458-433 BC).

Prior to his first degree there were 30 years between 488-458 BC; then there were an additional 25 years which includes both an additional or Second Decree made in 445 BC and then in his 32nd year a "marker" is made by Nehemiah concerning the completion of the wall in 433 BC (or from 458 BC to 433 BC = 25 years).  Then to the start of the 62-Weeks (433-401 BC) there were 32 years.  In a very real sense the 25 years is related both to the 30 years on the "upside" and the 32 years on the "down-side" as follows:

(1) 30 years X 360 degrees = 10,800 or "18" (488-458 BC)

(2) 25 years X 360 degrees (earth orbits around her sun) = 9,000 or "9" (458-433 BC)

(3) 32 years X 360 degrees = 11,520 (465-433 BC)

If we take each of these digits as "18" and "9" and "1152" as factors we discover the Name of God in that:

1 X 8 X 9 X 1 X 1 X 5 X 2 = 720 or "72" over which we have already elaborated.

Furthermore, "9" is our Sun of Righteousness (the 8 planets of the Solar System and one Sun - the 8 + 1 = 9; which, of course, interrelates with the "18" of the New Jerusalem or that 9 X 18 = 162 which is one-half of 324 (2 X 162 = 324 which in turn (324) is the fractal/resemblance of both the Wall of the New Jerusalem (i.e. 144 X 2.1 ft. of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit = 302.4 ft or "324" - Rev. 21:17) and, of course, the base perimeter of the Great Pyramid of Giza at 756 ft. (base edge) X 4 (for it is foursquare) = 3024 ft. or "324" - so strong is the relationship between the 30 years and the 25 years on the "upside."  The New Jerusalem (18) has no need of the Sun for the Sun of Righteousness (9) is her light!

On the down-side the relationship between the 9,000 and the 11,520 is abundant in that their sum is 20,520 or the "252" of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit--eliminating all zeroes for the Hebrew Sacred Cubit is 25.20 or "252."  Thus, we readily can see that the three Decrees given by Artaxerxes Longimanus are NOT miscellaneous nor arbitrary--they are utterly purposeful in disclosing the Divine Intent connecting the end of the seven=weeks portion of Daniel's 70-Week prophecy with the beginning of the 62-Week portion of the prophecy.  Being in the 87-year GAP is altogether meaningful.

If we break down the various years from 488 BC (completion of the 49 years or 7 weeks) to the commencement of the 62 Weeks in 401 BC further, we discover these distinct and meaningful segments over the course of these 87 years; known as the First GAP; some of this is repetition:

(1)     30 years:  488-458 BC - From the close of the 7 Weeks (Dan. 9:25) unto the First Decree under King Artaxerxes Longimanus - Ezra received the Decree from King Longimanus in 7th Year of his reign (465-458 BC) (Ezra 7:7)

(2)     13 years:  458-445 BC - From the First Decree of Logimanus unto the Second Decree of Longimanus in the 20th year of his reign (Neh. 2:1) -  Nehemiah received the Decree from King Longimanus in 20th Yr. of his reign (465-445 BC (Neh. 2:1)

(3)     12 years:  445-433 BC = From the Second Decree of King Longimanus in 445 BC to the 32nd year of his reign (Neh. 5:14; 13:6) or 465 less 32 years = 433 BC or 465-433 BC = 32nd year of his reign.  (Nehemiah 5:14) Nehemiah's Decree/Governorship of Judah in 20th year of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus and for 12 years thereafter he and his brothers did not eat the governor's provisions which were due them; thus unto the 32nd Yr. of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus.  For 12 years until the 32nd year they lived under these restrictions -- they rebuilt the wall and its gates. (Wall finished in 52 days - on Elul 25 - Nehemiah 6:15)

(4)     8 years:  433-425 BC = The final years of the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus (Married to Queen Esther)

(5)    21 years:  425-404 BC = The reign of the three sons of King Artaxerxes Longimanus (Xerxes - 425 BC - 1 year; Secundianus - 424-423 - 1 year; Ochus-Darius - 423-404 BC - 19 years)...this is the period known as the "troublesome times" found in Daniel 9:25.

(6)     3 years:  404-401 BC = Three years into the reign of King Aricas Artaxerxes who reigned between 404-361 BC for 43 years - the longest reign of the Persian Kings with the first three years of his reign concluding the GAP of the 87 years. Therefore, the total in years should equal 87 years:

30 + 13 + 12 + 8 + 21 + 3 = 87 years.  The 30 years stands alone; the 13 + 12 = 25 stands together; the 8 + 21 + 3 = 32 is the third distribution.  If we view these three segments in this manner then the following may be revealed:

(1)     First Segment:

30 years X 360 = 10,800 or the "18" of the New Jerusalem

(2)     Second Segment:

(a)     13 years X 360 = 4,680

(b)     12 years X 360 = 4,320

4,680 + 4,320 = 9,000 or the "9" of the Sun of Righteousness

(3)     Third Segment:

(a)     8 years X 360 = 2,880 or 288/2 = two sets of "144" found in both Rev. 7 and Rev. 14 and again in the Wall of the New Jerusalem at "144 cubits" and the six faces of the New Jerusalem Cube at 12,000 furlongs X 12,000 furlongs = 144,000,000 sq. furlongs on each of her six faces (Rev. 21:16-17).

(b)     21 years X 360 = 7,560 or the "756" base edge measurement of the Great Pyramid of Giza - that "Altar unto the LORD in the midst of Egypt, and a pillar unto the LORD at its border [Giza] - Isaiah 19:19 - the "earthly expression of the New Jerusalem

(c)     3 years X 360 = 1,080 = the "18" (again) of the New Jerusalem

Therefore, we could say that:

(1)  #1 Segment gives us "18"

(2)  #2 Segment gives us "9"

(3)  #3 Segment gives us: 288 + 756 = 1,044 = "144" and "18" - both of the New Jerusalem "earthly/heavenly"

Ezra came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of King Artaxerxes’ reign in 458 BC and received a decree (Ezra 7) to “beautify the House of the Lord.”  NOTE:  Precisely 490 years (i.e., considered an EPICAL JUBILEE CYCLE) from this decree in 458 BC (Ezra 7:9) unto the “cutting off of Messiah” on 13/14 Nisan, 33 A.D. (Julian Calendar) ….but this was NOT the commencement of the 62 Weeks – the GAP from 488 BC unto 401 BC persisted throughout the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus (465-425 BC) some 40 years.

Nehemiah came to King Artaxerxes Longimanus in the Twentieth Year of his reign (Nehemiah 2:1) – the year:  445 BC (for King Artaxerxes commenced his reign in 465 BC).  It was, however, in 458 BC that Ezra received a decree from this same King Artaxerxes Longimanus (Ezra. 7:1-27) in the “seventh year” of his reign (Ezra. 7:7) or in the year 458 BC – again, there are 490 years (i.e., an Epical Jubilee Cycle between 458 BC unto 33 A.D.).

Ultimately the entire 70-Week Prophecy of Daniel constitutes 490 years broken down as 49 years (7 weeks) + 434 years (62 weeks) + 7 years (1 week) = 70 Weeks or 7 X 70 Weeks = 490 years.  A rather spectacular discovery as to why there are these three very distinct periods made up of these "7s" or heptads and expressed as weeks which constitute years and/or orbits of the earth around her sun from whence the 360 degrees is obtained; to wit:

(1)     49 years (7 weeks) = 49 X 360 = 17,640 degrees

(2)     434 years (62 weeks) = 434 X 360 = 156,240 degrees

(3)     7 years (1 week) = 7 X 360 = 2,520 degrees

But what do these "number sets" tell us?  If we take each of these sets of degrees as factors from their commencement (17,640 and then 156,240 and then 2,520) we discover this marvelous outcome:

1 X 7 X 6 X 4 X 1 X 5 X 6 X 2 X 4 X 2 X 5 X 2 = 806,400 or "864"

We are witnessing with awesome manipulation the very fractal/resemblance of the 864,000-mile (864) diameter of the Sun!  That is precisely why this distribution in weeks of 7, 62, and 1 are inexorably moving toward the coming of the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (Mal. 4:2) - there can be no other reason for their peculiar distribution.

Likewise, it is well-known that the measurement of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit is 25.20 inches (360 degrees of earth’s rotation each day X 7 days in a week = 2520 degrees or the fractal of the HSC of 25.20 inches).  Adjusting for partial months of a year (e.g., a given year of 965 BC may be only partial with its extremity of 712 BC likewise partial) – so that we discover that from 712 BC, the year Hezekiah’s life was extended, to the commencement of the building of Solomon’s Temple in 965 BC (adjustment for partial year/months) is 252 years and from 712 BC to the decree given by Artaxerxes Longimanus to Ezra in Ezra 7:7 in 458 BC approximates the same 252 years.

Fascinating, isn't it, that when we add 252 + 252 = 504 which is the 5040 or Solomon's Temple perimeter?  Indeed, King Solomon laid the foundation for the First Temple in 965 BC and King Artaxerxes Longimanus in 458 BC launched the decrees to finish the refurbishing and ultimately finish the very wall of the City of Jerusalem in 433 BC.

Gabriel did not re-start the 70-weeks’ clock (i.e., the next 62 Weeks (or 434 years or 62 X 7 = 434 years) of the 70 Week Prophecy—the GAP terminating in 401 B.C. some 87 years after the terminus of the 7 weeks in 488 BC) until the reign of King Arsicas/Artaxerxes (son of Ochus/Darius) who ascended the throne in 404 BC and whose reign ended the “troublesome times” which followed the rein of Artaxerxes Longimanus.  Three years into the reign of King Arsicas Artaxerxes (404-401 BC), in 401 BC, did the 62-Week portion of the 70-Week prophecy commence anew—which 62 weeks and/or 434 years (62 X 7 = 434 years) persisted “Until Messiah the Prince” Who rode into Jerusalem in fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9-10 in the Julian Calendar Year of 33 AD, April 1 (10 Nisan) – the same day on the Hebrew Calendar when the children of Israel under Joshua’s leadership crossed the Jordan River into the Promised Land (Joshua 4:19); and the same day (Nisan10) that the prophet Ezekiel saw the vision of the Holy City in Ezekiel 40:1.

Comparing the Years between the First and Second Temples

God is still on the Throne of His Creation - the number of "14" connotes His Kingship - the three sets of "14" in Matthew 1:17 wherein three sets of 14 generations are given regarding the linage of Jesus Who is presented as King in Matthew's Gospel--the face of a Lion.  Consider this--amongst all these kings of Israel, Babylon, Persia:

965 BC (1 Kings 6:37) the foundation of King Solomon's Temple was laid

536 BC (Ezra 3:8-11) the foundation of the Second Temple was laid

958 BC (1 Kings 6:38) Solomon's Temple was completed

515 BC (Ezra 5:15) the Second Temple was finished

965-536 BC (foundations complete) = 429 years between finished foundations

AND:  429 years X 360 = 154,440 - "seen as" 1...54...44 or "144" surrounding "54"

958 BC-515 BC = 443 years between the completion of the First and Second Temple

443 less 429 = 14 = KINGSHIP

Is that just another "kawinkadink" or what?  and, what about this - using these "differentials" of "429" and "443" we find that:

4 X 2 X 9 = 72 and 4 X 4 X 3 = 48 and 72 + 48 = 120 and 4 X 2 X 9 X 4 X 4 X 3 - 3456/2 = 1728 = 12 X 12 X 12 = 1728 or the very reflection of the 12,000 X 12,000 X 12,000 furlongs of the New Jerusalem cubed = 1,728,000,000,000 cubic furlongs = the capacity of the New Jerusalem.  Is there a connection between the completions of these two temples and their foundations and ultimate completions and the New Jerusalem?  Very suspicions--very suspicions indeed!

Yes, and just why did it take but 7 years (965-958 BC) to finish the immensity, in comparison, of Solomon's First Temple and 21 years (536-515 BC) to finish the Second Temple?  Three times longer to finish something much smaller than the first temple.  Why?  Well, 7 years + 21 years = 28 years X 360 = 10,080 or "18" - THAT'S WHY! and better still:  The First Temple commenced in 965 BC and the Second Temple finished in 515 BC.  The difference between 965 and 515 is 450 years or "45" - and just what is "45?"  Two items come into view.  The final and/or "Most Holy Place" found in Daniel 9:24 - "To anoint the most Holy Place" as the Millennium Temple is Dedicated at the close of the "45" days or unto the 1,335th day or 45 days beyond the 1,290th day of desolation for "Blessed is he who waits and comes to the 1,335th day" (Daniel 12:11-12).

And, if we take these 450 years X 360 = 162,000 X 2 = 324,000 or the "324" of the Wall of both the New Jerusalem and the base perimeter of the Great Pyramid of Giza.  Are all these temples and the New Jerusalem somehow inter-connected?  I think the math tells us that they most certainly are!

I draw, in particular, our attention to Ezekiel 40:1 for several reasons in reference to the "45" and the coming of the Sun of Righteousness:

“In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was captured (lit. “struck”), on that very same day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and He took me there…in the visions of God He took me into the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain; on it toward the south was something like the structure of a city” (Ezk. 40:1-2).

Carefully see how the Bible’s chronologies are impeccable.  Ezekiel states that it was the 25th year of Judah’s Captivity in Babylon but it was the 14th year that Jerusalem had been captured or struck by the Babylonians.  What were these years?

This means the following:  If the initial siege of Jerusalem were in 607 BC, then how can we prove that this date initiates the Babylonian Captivity of Judah for 70 years (607-537 BC)?  Well, it’s rather obvious that 607 BC less 25 years is equal to the year 582 BC--the year Ezekiel saw the vision of the Holy District.  Then we must calculate back into this peculiar set of dates the fact that Ezekiel states the City of Jerusalem fell 14 years from this 582 BC date when he received the vision of the Holy City.

Thus, we must calculate back into the 25 years these 14 years; and, we must keep in mind that this was just the start of the 25th year, for it was 10 Nisan—the first month of the Hebrew Calendar; so, we really cannot count the 25th year in full.  Therefore, we must count back from the full year of 583 BC plus 14 years = 597 BC.  What happened in 597 BC to cause Ezekiel to say that the City of Jerusalem was “captured?”

It was King Nebuchadnezzar who laid siege to Jerusalem in 607 BC and again in 597 BC.[12]/[13].  It is exceedingly well documented that King Nebuchadnezzar laid siege to Jerusalem and captured it in 597 BC from the 3-month reign of the 18-year old King Jehoiachin, king of Judah (2 Kings 24:8-12 [although King Nebuchadnezzar according to 2 Kings 24:1-7 came up against Jerusalem in the reign of King Jehoiakim earlier and had made King Jehoiakim his vassal for three years—that was a year after King Jehoiakim commenced his reign in 608 BC or in 607 BC the date of the initial siege of Jerusalem by King Nebuchadnezzar.

Thus, according to Ezekiel, it was the 25th year of Judah’s Captivity when he received the Vision of the Holy City (Ezekiel 40:1) in the year 582 BC (607-582 BC = 25th year) – but fourteen years previous to that year (582/583 BC) the City of Jerusalem had been laid siege by King Nebuchadnezzar in, as we have calculated, 597/598 BC (583 BC + 14 years = 597 BC).

We are not here to contrive nor speculate on the meaning of these years; however, I find it most remarkable that Ezekiel’s dates not only coincide with ancient history but affirm the initial date of Judah’s Captivity in 607 BC and all the subsequent dates thereafter (Judah’s Captivity being 70 years from 607 BC to 537 BC and the Decree of King Cyrus to return to Jerusalem).

Therefore, from the 25th year of Judah's captivity (607-582 BC - DURING the 25th year of their captivity) we would have an additional 45 years unto 537 BC when the decree of Cyrus the Great was made to return the Jews back to Judah (582 BC less 45 years = 537 BC) or from 582-537 BC = 45 years.

This gives us a segment of 14 years, one of 11 years, equaling 25 years, and another segment equal to 45 years or we could actually say the segments are 11, 14 and 45 years = 70 years of Captivity.  Let us remember that Ezekiel's vision of the Holy City is received on Nisan 10 - the same date as the crossing of the Children of Israel into the Good Land under Joshua's leadership (Joshua 4:19) and the very same Nisan 10 in the Julian Calendar year of 33 AD when "Messiah the Prince" (Daniel 9:26) concluded the 62 Weeks of Daniel's prophecy - Palm Sunday, Nisan 10 but four days later Messiah was "cut off" for us and our salvation on 13/14 Nisan (April 1, 33 AD) on the Jewish Passover Preparation Day (Wednesday, Nisan 13) and then buried on Passover, Nisan 14, the Hebrew Thursday by that evening 6:00 P.M. (but still the Julian Wednesday date of 1 April until 12 Midnight when it changed to 2 April, 33 AD).

If, indeed, there were 14 years when the City of Jerusalem was captured in 597 BC as the historical fact demands; then, this would mean that there would be some 11 years to equal the 25 years mentioned by Ezekiel.  Consequently, 597 BC + 11 years = 607 BC (inclusive as in 597, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 = 11 years).  Therefore, we have three number sets exposed in Ezekiel 40:1 which are:

(1)  25 years X 360 = 9,000 or “9

(2)  14 years X 360 = 5,040 or “54

(3)  11 years X 360 = 3,960 or “396

(4)  45 years X 360 = 16,200/864 ("864" is the Sun's Diameter) = 18.75 . . . "18" and "75"

Not only is it incredible that 10 Nisan is the very date of the commencement of the 25th year of Judah's Captivity (607 BC—in the second year of King Jehoiakim’s reign whereby King Nebuchadnezzar made him a “vassal for three year”) but each of the aforementioned segment of years (25, 14, 11) give us the Divine Intent once again in that:

(1)   The number set of “9” connotes the Sun of Righteousness throughout our research and repeatedly displays the fact that there are 8 planets of the Solar System and but one Sun or 8 + 1 = 9.  If the “1” (i.e., the number which connotes the Sun by addition) is subtracted, then 8 X 5040 (below) = 40,320 or the Sun’s radius as a fractal, again, 432 (432,000 miles is the radius of our sun).

(2)  “5040” is of no small notoriety in antiquity for displaying the Hebrew Sacred Cubit itself in that 5040 ÷ 2 = 2520 or the 25.20 in. HSC.[14]

(3)  “3960” is the radius fractal of the Earth @ 7,920 miles (mean diameter) ÷ 2 = 3,960 miles

But likewise, the Divine Intent is magnified by the additional 45 years unto the full 70-years of captivity because these 45 years are a fractal between the 1,290th Day of Daniel's "excess" found in Daniel 12:11-12 where we read:

"And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety-days.  Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days."

The 1,290th day is 30 days beyond the 1,260th day or the latter half of Daniel's 70th Week which comports to the measurement of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit in that the 70th Week is equal to 7 days or two segments of 3 1/2 days + 3 1/2 days = 7 Days or 7 years in which each "prophetic year" is equal to 1,260 days or 1,260 days (first half of the week) + 1,260 days (second half of the week) = 2,520 days or the 25.20 inches of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit.

However, the 1,290th day is 30 days beyond the second set of 1,260 days and envisions - due to the fact that it is the terminus of the 1,290 days of desolations - a "30-day time frame" committed to the Wrath of God and the Lamb as per Revelation 6:16-17.

However, the additional 45-days as shown in the graphic accounts for Daniel 12:12 and the time frame between the 1,290th Day and the 1,335th Day or the additional 45 days wherein is given this statement:  "Blessed is he who waits and comes to the 1,335th Day."  Why is he who waits blessed when entering into the 45 days of "blessing?"  Because this "45" is akin to the deliverance given to the eight who survived the Deluge in the Days of Noah (1 Peter 3:2-21; 2 Peter 2:5) in that the dimensions of Noah's Ark are given in Genesis 6:15; to wit:

"And this is how you shall make it:  The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifth cubits, and its height thirty cubits."

Without knowing the dimension of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit we simply configure the capacity of the Ark as follows:

300 X 50 X 30 = 450,000 Cubic Cubits or "45."

We are approaching the very "Days of Noah" - the same "45" which saved the 8 shall come in glory as the very Sun of Righteousness - the "45" as our Deliverer and shall display His glory on that "blessed day!"  Malachi 4:2 declares:

"But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings . . . . "

These are the "75" days beyond the 70th Week of Daniel - within there are both judgment (30) and absolute deliverance (45). When the Sun of Righteousness (864) shall arise with healing in His wings, this is precisely what he shall produce in the additional 45 years beyond the initial 25th year of Judah's Captivity to equal to 70-Years of Judah's Captivity; to wit: 45 years X 360 = 16,200/864 ("864" is the Sun's Diameter) = 18.75 . . . "18" and "75."

Here we see that the Sun of Righteousness (864) when placed within the 16,200 days of some 45 years (after the first 25 years of Judah's Captivity as seen by Ezekiel) will give us both the New Jerusalem (18) and will do so within the context of the 75 additional days seen after the terminus of Daniel's 70th Week.  Fanciful?  Not so.  This, I affirm, is precisely why Ezekiel saw the VISION OF THE HOLY CITY on 10 Nisan, 582 BC - 25 years into Judah's Captivity (607-582 BC):

"In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year [month of Nisan], on the tenth day of the month [10 Nisan], in the fourteenth year after the city was captured [i.e. in 597 BC or 582/583 BC + 14 years = 597 BC when King Nebuchadnezzar captured Jerusalem (2 Kings 24:1-2, 8-17) and took thousands of captives, including the 18-year old King Jehoiachin who reigned but three months; and then King Nebuchadnezzar in 597 BC installed Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's uncle, as king in his place, and changed his name to Zedekiah who was 21 years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem (597-586 BC) unto 586 BC when King Nebuchadnezzar laid siege, once again, and conquered Judah once and for all in that very year (2 Kings 25:1-2)--laying siege "in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month . . . until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah."

Again, establishing the timeframe of the Babylonia Captivity is of supreme merit in that its beginning does indeed coincide with the 537 BC date of the decree given by Cyrus the Great (i.e., 537 + 70 years = 607 BC and the initial Siege of Jerusalem by King Nebuchadnezzar; and, as well, our diversion into Nisan 10 found in Ezekiel 40:1 answers the prickly question as to why the 25 years of captivity, 14 years of the striking of Jerusalem and the 11 year difference between 25 years and 14 years.  Ezekiel 40:1 affirms the capture of Jerusalem in 597 BC and the actual start date of the 70-year Babylonian Captivity of Judah in 607 BC unto 537 BC; while at the same time giving us abundant clues as to why the additional 45 years were given through Ezekiel enlightening us to the 75 days following the 70th Week of Daniel.

(7)     Xerxes (son of Artaxerxes Longimanus) 425 BC – reigned one year and was killed by his brother, Secundianus – (First of the “Troublesome Kings”)

(8)     Secundianus (second son of Artaxerxes Longimanus) - 424-423 BC - took the throne in 424-423 BC and plotted to kill Ochus, his other brother, but was killed instead. (Second of the “Troublesome Kings”)

(9)     Ochus/Darius (third son of Artaxerxes Longimanus) - 423-404 BC - killed Secundianus for the murder of Xerxes – he took the name of Darius and reigned for 19 years until his death in 404 BC – therefore:  423-404 BC (Third of the “Troublesome Kings”) NOTE:  All three of these kings reigned within the GAP of the 87 years between the seven weeks and the sixty-two weeks (488-401 BC) or from 425 BC to 404 BC some 21 years for this was the "Divine Measurement" given over to the "troublesome times" - for in all our "trouble" there is the "Measurement of the Almighty" - 21 years X 360 (360 degrees per each orbit of the Earth around her Sun) = 7,560 or "756" which is that base edge of that "Altar unto the LORD, in the midst of Egypt, and a Pillar unto the LORD, at its GIZA (border) (Isaiah 19:19)--the earthly reflection of the Holy City, Jerusalem.

(10)    Arsicas/Artaxerxes (son of Ochus/Darius) ascended the Peacock throne in 404 BC and reigned for 43 years until 361 BC – thus ended the “troublesome times” shortly after the commencement of his reign in 404 BC

It is during the reign of King Arsicas, the longest reign of any of the 13/14 Persian Kings, that the 87-year GAP ends in 401/402 BC (488-401 BC). It is during the relatively peaceful reign of King Arsicas who ascended the throne in 404 BC and reigned for 43 years until 361 BC the GAP ends and the commencement of the 62 Weeks of Daniel's 70-Week Prophecy begins.

THUS:  The GAP commenced in 488 BC (49 years after the initial decree of Cyrus the Great, Cyrus II, in 537 BC—Ezra 1-2) and ended during the reign of Darius II (Artaxerxes the Great) who married Queen Esther.  The GAP between the seven weeks (49 years) and the commencement of the 62 weeks (434 years) persisted until 401 BC (during the reign of King Arsicas/Artaxerxes [son of Ochus/Darius]) – Daniel 9:25 – “There shall be seven weeks AND sixty-two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in TROUBLESOME TIMES.”  (Note:  488 BC to 401 BC = 87 years.).

It is not until these “troublesome times” are over (Persian Kings #7, #8, #9) that the commencement of the 62 Weeks ensues (with Persian King #10 above) –during the reign of the Persian King Arsicas/Artaxerxes (King Arsicas reigned from 404 BC until 361 BC).  The countdown “until Messiah the Prince” (Daniel 9:26) and the termination of the 62 Weeks on Nisan 10, 33 A.D. – Palm Sunday (Julian calendar date of 29 March 33 AD), the Triumphal Entry of Jesus as Messiah, the Prince, into Jerusalem, began in the year 401 BC – thus, from 401 BC until 33 AD are some 434 years or 62 Weeks X 7 = 434 years (Daniel 9:25-26)…these are NOT 360-day prophetic years; simply, “years” as per the 365.2425 days per solar year[15] commencing in 712 BC during King Hezekiah’s request for life extension when the orbit of the earth was slowed by 5+ days per year.

It is noteworthy, however, when we multiply the additional days added to the yearly calendar from a 360-day year unto a 365.252-day year that the 5.252 additional days per year X 2737 years (i.e., 712 BC [King Hezekiah’s life extension date] through to 2025 AD – inclusive of the 70th Week—which 2025 AD date brings us to 6,000 years from Adam’s Creation Date of 3975 BC) = 14,375 days ÷ 360-day prophetic year = 39.931 prophetic years, rounded up to 40 years which “40” constitutes a period of testing and/or judgment in Biblical “numerology.”  Thus, since 712 BC (the date of King Hezekiah’s life extension) the earth has slowed some 40 years in orbiting the sun up through 2025 AD, if we were to calculate the years lost since King Hezekiah’s life extension whereby the orbit of earth slowed around her sun extending some 5.2425 or 5.252 days per year.

PERIOD OF THE GAP:  488 BC to 401 BC = 87 years.  The commencement of the 62 Week countdown did NOT begin during the reign of Ochus/Darius (third son of Artaxerxes Longimanus with whom Ezra and Nehemiah received sundry decrees in reference to Jerusalem’s embellishments)—those were troublesome times wherein the first two sons of Artaxerxes Longimanus (Xerxes and Secundianus) were murdered and the third son, Ochus, who reigned in their stead (423 BC until 404 BC – also killed Secundianus). Ochus, the last “troublesome time” Persian monarch, died in 404 BC.

King Arsicas/Artaxerxes, son of Ochus/Darius, reigned in his father’s stead – it is three years into his reign that the Angel Gabriel commenced the 62 Week countdown until Messiah the Prince—i.e. 401 BC until 33 A.D. or 434 years (62 Weeks X 7 = 434 years).  God Almighty chose King Arsicas to commence the countdown of the 434 years (62 weeks) to Messiah the Prince.  Why?  Perhaps we have a clue in the fact that his reign is the longest of any of the Persian Kings (43 years) --just as the 62 weeks is longer than the 7 weeks and, most assuredly, the 1 week--Daniel's 70th Week.

Could this be the reason?  After you consider this as the breakdown of King Arsicas 43-year reign as "3" and "40," I think you may concur with my prophetic speculation:

(1)   3 years X 360 = 1,080 = "18" of the New Jerusalem - God was moving towards the "18" - through Messiah the Prince!

(2)   40 years X 360 = 14,400 = the "144" of the New Jerusalem and in Hebrew Cubits of the foursquare perimeter of the Great Pyramid of Giza in that 756 ft. X 4-square = 3,024 ft./2.1 ft. = 1,440 Hebrew Sacred Cubits.

(3)   18 X 144 = 2,592 which is a fractal/resemblance of the 25,920 years of the Mazzaroth - the Wreath laid over the Woman's Head in Revelation 12:1 as the expression of her victory over principalities and powers in heavenly places!

The unnecessary focus by evangelical scholars—well-intentioned though they may have been since the days of Sir Robert Anderson of Scotland Yard fame—in determining, without a gap (i.e., no gap between the first seven weeks and the next sixty-two weeks—simply one continuous 69-week period) sundry decrees from at least 444-445 BC until “Messiah the Prince” (using, in particular, the decrees wrought by Artaxerxes Longimanus (465-425 BC) by using “prophetic years” of 360-days, have placed an “artificial” exactitude upon the chronology (commencing in the decree of 445 BC given to Nehemiah after 20-years of the King Artaxerxes Longimanus' reign—Nehemiah 2:1).  Likewise, the Decree by this same Artaxerxes Longimanus given to Ezra in 458 BC (7 years after his reign commenced—Ezra 7:8) is irrelevant insofar as the commencement and/or continuation of the 62 weeks.[16]

The Proclamation/Decree under Cyrus the Great in 537 BC given to Zerubbabel, officially terminated the Babylonian Captivity of the Jews of Judah (Ezra 1-2). The 537 BC date also commenced the initial 7 Weeks of the 70-Week Prophecy which INCLUDED the building of the Second Temple which took 21 years of the 49-year 7 weeks to complete.  There are “seven sets of 7s” or 49 years (537 BC less 49 years = 488 BC) to complete the seven weeks.  The 49-year time frame illuminated in these 7 weeks is highlighted in Zechariah 4’s Universal Lampstand of 7 Menorah with 7 lamps each attached to a singular stem (i.e., actually seven separate Menorah which collectively expresses a composite, singular Menorah) and designed like a Merry-Go-Round having 7 Menorah X 7 Lamps each = 49 separate lamps indicative of the Work of the Spirit in the completion of the Second Temple – 7 weeks X 7 = 49 years (one Jubilee Short Count cycle).  The work of the building of the Second Temple and subsequent efforts to rebuild Jerusalem by the returnees from Babylon would be a work of the Spirit:  “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord.” (Zech. 4:4)

By attempting to extend and/or delay the commencement of the 49 years and to eliminate any gap between the initial 7 weeks and the following 62 weeks, evangelical scholarship has endured immense scholastic ridicule—i.e., if 445 BC is used to commence the 69 weeks (7 weeks + 62 weeks = 69 weeks), and a 360-day prophetic year is also used, then these “evangelical scholars’ who have eliminated any gap between the first set of 7 weeks and the second set of 62 weeks have determined that 483 years [7+62 = 69 Weeks X 7 = 483 years] X 360-prohetic year/days = 173,880 (approx. days) ÷ 365.2425 solar days = 476 solar years allowing for the 7-year conclusion of the 70th Week (483 years less 476 solar years = 7 prophetic years, reserved for the final 70th Week of Daniel at the end of the age).

They simply multiplied 5.2524 days per year X 483 years = 2,537 days ÷ a 360-day prophetic year = 7 years and subtracted it from the 483 years = 476 years (total of 69 weeks less 1 week of 7 years or 476 + 7 = 483 years) in an effort to add an additional 70th Week (7 years) at the end of the age. In all fairness, they were undoubtedly driven to these conclusion by the fact that the 70th Week of Daniel is clearly a "prophetic year proposition" of 360-day years X 7 = 2,520 days, ipso facto, all the other years of the 69 weeks or 483 years must be calculated in terms of a 360-day prophetic year.

None of the decrees commencing with the reign of King Cyrus in 537 BC will fit into this schematic, given the fact that 537 BC finds itself some 92 years (537 BC less 445 BC = 92 years) from the commencement of the 70-Weeks prophecy as envisioned by Sir Anderson and other well-meaning brethren in order to "fit their scenario."  They have completely overlooked the AND of the 7 weeks AND 62 weeks, etc. and, of course, the final AND, if you would, leading to the futurity of the entire 70th Week of Daniel.  All the aforementioned Scripture is thrown to the side concerning the sundry decrees and accounts given by Zechariah, Ezra, Nehemiah and of the very time frames of the reign of these Persian Kings--both in history, and, most assuredly from the Biblical text.  The 70-Weeks prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 did NOT commence in 445/444 BC but commenced at the Decree of Cyrus the Great who terminated the 70-year Captivity of the Jews in Babylon and commenced the 70-Week prophecy as recorded by Daniel 9:24-27.

There are far more excruciating attempts to jam these chronologies together (indeed, our Historicist friends among the Seventh-Day Adventists[17] are of no small notoriety in this fine but unnecessary effort).  When one considers the simplicity of the purposeful gaps between the 7 Weeks and the 62 Weeks and between the current 62 Weeks and the yet future, though immediate, 70th Week of Daniel’s 70-Week Prophecy (Daniel 9:24-27), all “numeric frustration” is ended.

The 87-year gap appears to be complimented by the gap between 33 AD (Messiah the Prince—the end of the 62 Weeks) and 2018 AD (which appears to be the most logical conclusion of the gap between the 62 Weeks and the 70th Week of Daniel’s prophecy.  Thus, a gap of 1,985 years seems the most logical between the 62 Weeks and the 70th Week (i.e., 87-year gap between 488 BC and 401 BC; and the 1,985-year gap between 33 AD and 2018 AD).

If, indeed, the commencement of Daniel's 70th Week, for example, interjects itself in the year 2018 AD, as we have some reason to affirm, based on the previous chronologies given in Scripture (i.e., Adam's Creation having commenced in 3975 BC to 2025 AD = 6,000 years less 7 years = 5993 years which is the year 2018 AD), then we would find some 1985 years between 33 AD and 2018 AD or 33 AD + 1985 years = 2018 AD.

Consequently, as factors, "1985" appears to give us an ETERNAL CLUE that we just might be spot on:

1 X 9 X 8 X 5 = 360 which is a fractal of a circle of 360 degrees - utterly perfect - without beginning or ending and signifying the Eternal God is at work to affect the commencement of the 70th Week of Daniel.

If we were to combine the 87-year gap with the 1,985-year gap we arrive at a composite total of “gap years” equaling 2,072 years.  Even so, this 2…72 bears the markings of the New Jerusalem in that as “separated factors” (i.e., the “2” from the “72”) we arrive at 2 X 72 = 144.

Forgive my repetition, however, as there is a GAP between the initial 49 years (7 weeks) and the 434 years (62 weeks), there is also a GAP between the 62 weeks (434 years) and the commencement of the final 70th Week of Daniel.  We affirm, based on our overall 6,000-year commitment of the Almighty to “man’s days” of 120 Long Count 50-year Jubilee Cycles or 120 X 50 years = 6,000 years (Gen. 6:3); that therefore, the GAP appears to conclude at the beginning of 2018 AD (i.e., the start of Daniel’s 70th and final Week) . . . to be some 1,985 years (thus far) or 33 A.D. + 1,985 years = 2018 AD.

An additional “numerical novelty” appears to conclude that the separation between these two initial sets of weeks when they appear as years, provides substantial proof that it has all led to the Coming of Messiah the Prince in 33 A.D.; to wit:

7 Weeks = 49 years X 360 degrees (one orbit of earth around the sun) = 17,640 degrees.

62 Weeks = 434 years X 360 degrees (one orbit of earth around the sun) = 156,240 degrees.

Now, the pre-determined radius of Earth’s Sun is 432,000 miles[18]  Therefore, when we COMBINE these previously mentioned degrees found in the 7 weeks and the 62 weeks, we discover the following (using 17,640 and 156,240 as combined factors):

1 * 7 * 6 * 4 * 1 * 5 * 6 * 2 * 4 = 40,320 or “432” which is a fractal of the Sun’s radius; thereby, we can determine its diameter to be that of 2 * 432 = 864.[19]

We alluded to the Genesis 6:3 accounting of the "120 years" whose Hebrew translation presents itself as a "math word problem" wherein an ORIGINAL NUMBER SET is under consideration, which number set has been doubled; and that the ORIGINAL number set has been multiplied by 100.  Moses was fixated on the Jubilee Cycle (either short count of 49 years or long count of 50 years--Leviticus 25:8-17).  The "doubled number set" is "49."  Therefore, its ORIGINAL number was 24.50 (or 49/2 = 24.50) given as a decimal which in turn is multiplied by 100 or 24.50 X 100 = 2,450 "years."  This, then, in turn is divided by 49 or 2450/49 = 50 or 2450/490 = 5.  These "490" years are called Epical Jubilee Cycles. Within a 6,000-year time frame there are 12 of them or 6,000/490 years = 12 with a remainder of 120 years or 12 X 490 years = 5,880 years + 120 years = 6,000 years.

Furthermore, and as we have determined that the Exodus was in the year 1445 BC when Moses was 80 years of age (for Moses lived until he was 120 years of age and did NOT cross over Jordan in 1405 BC); therefore, Moses was born in the year 1525 BC.  Since Adam was created in 3975 BC we find that between 3975 BC and Moses' birth in 1525 BC there are precisely 2,450 years (or 3975 less 2450 years = 1525 BC).  The 24.50, which is one-half of the original number set that was doubled to make 49, and then the ORIGINAL number set is multiplied by 100 to equal 2,450, appears to be clearly in view in Moses' accounting in the writing of Genesis 6:3; indeed, his very birth was in view!  These two charts (although seen in other parts of this series) will refreshingly demonstrate how the Epical Jubilee Cycles can be configured using 12 of these 490-year Epical Jubilee Cycles and the very 120 years remaining, which is the very life of Moses used either as a whole 120 years or partial (80 years - using the 7-years from 465-458 BC of the reign of Artaxerxes Longimanus and then the final 33 years of human history from 1992 AD to 2025 AD which is the age of Messiah at 33 highlighting His Coming again in Glory):

(11)   Ochus - 361-338 BC - He assumed the name of his father, Artaxerxes, in 361 BC and was killed by his chief eunuch, Bagoas, an Egyptian, in 338 BC, having reigned some 23 years – 361-338 BC

(12)   Arses – reigned from 338-336 BC – Arses planned to kill Bagoas for killing his father, Ochus/Artaxerxes, but Bagoas found out about it and instead had Arses killed and all his children killed; then Bagoas set up Darius, the son of Arsames, the brother of Artaxerxes, as the new Persian king.

(13)   Darius III – 336 BC to 331 BC – was defeated by Alexander the Great at the Battle of Gaugamela or Arbela in 331 BC; this ostensibly terminated the reign of the Persian Kings; however, we do have a 14th who "snuck in unawares . . . ."

(14)   Artaxerxes V (aka Bessus)– 331-329 BC – Killed by Alexander the Great via capture and executed between two trees—an agonizing death.  Bessus, who assumed the name of Artaxerxes V is NOT considered one of the 13 Kings from Darius I through to Darius III (i.e., 538 BC until 331 BC) – or some 207 years or at the most some 209 years of the Medo-Persian Kings who conquered the Neo-Babylonian Empire until defeated by Alexander the Great in 331/329 BC.

Perhaps the final years of these Persian Kings foretells of pending judgment upon the Gentile World Powers - for the composite total of the years of their sundry reigns from 361 BC to 331 BC gives us a "legitimate" number set of 30 years, which in turn produces:

30 X 360 = 10,800 or the "18" of the New Jerusalem - even here there is HOPE beyond Gentile World Powers!

The 207 years of the reign of the Persian Kings (13 of them from 538 BC to 331 BC = 207 years) simply gives us the insignia of the "14" which is the number set for KINGSHIP or 2 X 7 = 14.

The Seder Olam Rabbah appears to have purposefully left out upwards some 164/165 years in the reign of these Persian Kings from their calendar compiled cir. 130 AD.  Could it be they were left out of Daniel’s vision in Chapter 11? Or is it because of a timed prophecy in Daniel’s ninth chapter?   Overall, J. R. Church discovered other erroneous chronologies found in the Seder Olam Rabbah which brings the total years apparently obfuscated to 243 years.  This would account for the “Jewish Calendar” being substantially off.  We are NOT living in the year 5777 but, according to our Jewish friends, we are living in the supposed year of 5777 + 243 years = 6020 A.M. (Latin for "from the creation") which is some 20 years (even now in 2017 AD) beyond the 6,000-year allotment.

If the “end of the world” as we know it—the full 6,000 years will occur in 2025 AD, then we would have to add to the 6020 date an additional 9 years, bringing us to the Jewish year of 6029 A.M. by 2025 AD--using their missing "243" years and adding them on to the year 5777 A.M. + the additional 9 years unto the Gregorian year of 2025 AD--the supposed date of the Second Coming of Messiah (viz., 5777 + 243 + 9 = 6,029 years or the year 6029 A.M.

This appears to substantiate the fact that our Jewish friends MAY have inadvertently used similar calculations afforded by Bishop James Ussher’s that Adam’s Creation date was set in 4004 BC.  Our calculations solidify, as you can readily see, around the date of 3975 BC for Adam's Creation.  Adding an additional 29 years to 3975 BC brings us to 4004 BC (3975 BC + 29 years = 4004 BC) and thus, if our Jewish friends would simply bring Adam’s creation date up to 3975 AD then they would discover that we are not living in the year 5777 but actually in the year 5991 (i.e., 5777 + 243 years = 6,020 less 29 years = 5991 A.M. + the next 9 years from 2017 unto 2025 AD (inclusive as in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 = 6,000 A.M.); in that 5991 + the missing 9 years brings us to the Hebrew Year of 6000 A.M.

Likewise, remember the first seven weeks in the prophecy of the seventy weeks?  God scheduled a GAP between the first seven weeks and the 62 weeks—most Christian theologians have overlooked this GAP; whereas, our Jewish scholars seem to have inadvertently or purposefully obfuscated the same—two wrongs don’t make a right!

The counting of the initial seven weeks stopped in 488 BC (537 BC ended the Babylonian Captivity and conquest by Darius the Mede; and commenced the initial 7 weeks of Daniel’s 70-Week prophecy.  These initial seven weeks persisted for 49 years unto 488 BC.  The “gap” between the 7 weeks and the 62 weeks continued until 401 BC (some 87 years between 488 BC to 401 BC).  This is the very reason only four Persian kings are mentioned in Daniel’s last vision in chapter 11 (Cyrus the Great; Artaxerxes/Cambyses; Darius or Artaxerxes the Great; and the fourth king, Xerxes who stirred up Greece).

King Artaxerxes Longimanus (465-425 BC) is then directly involved with Ezra and Nehemiah’s decrees and is subsequently followed by “troublesome times” with Kings Xerxes; Secundianus; and Ochus/Darius (425 BC through 404 BC) whereupon King Arsicas/Artaxerxes who reigned for 43 years (404-361 BC) ascended the throne.  Again, it is during his reign in 401 BC that the commencement of the 62 Weeks begins.

Thus, it was in 401 BC the 62 Weeks “until Messiah the Prince” in 33 AD began (i.e., 62 X 7 = 434 years) the next GAP from 33 AD onward until today – i.e., 401 BC plus 434 years = 33 AD and now the second GAP.  Moreover, if we take the first GAP of 87 years and combine them with the future GAP between 33 AD unto 2018 AD (i.e., between the terminus of the 62 weeks in 33 AD and the commencement of the final 70th Week in 2018 AD), some 1,985 years will transpire in this second gap.  Then we find that 87 years + 1,985 years = 2,072 years or as “factors” 2 X 72 = “144.”

The Gentile World Powers were exceedingly accurate in the years of their reigns.  Wikipedia attests thereto and the Hebrew records from the Bible do as well up through the final demise of King Zedekiah of Judah.  Not to sound presumptuous, but would to God that Jewish scholars would read their own Scriptures – they might find it surprising how chronologically accurate they are with modern history; furthermore, one of the foremost ancient Persian sites collaborates the reign of their Persian Kings and virtually match our own.[21]

TOTAL YEARS Add:  607 BC + 2025 AD (possible Second Coming of Messiah in 2025 AD) = 2,632 Years

(1)   3975-1875 BC – 2,100 Years from Adam’s Creation to Isaac’s 52 yr. age.

(2)  1875-1445 BC – 430 Years of Promise to Exodus - Isaac at 52 yr. age to Moses at 80 yr. of age

(5)  712-607 – 105 Years from Hezekiah Extension to the Babylonian 70-yr Captivity.

TOTAL YEARS:  3975-607 BC = 3,368 years

GRAND TOTALS:  2,632 Years + 3,368 Years = 6,000 years

The Almighty’s plan and purpose for the ages includes the original Elect from among the Gentiles, Abraham's physical progeny; today’s Jews, but initially as two sticks, seen as Judah and Ephraim.  Ephraim (10 Northern Tribes) were “divorced” by the Almighty and scattered among the nations, the Gentiles—literally millions of them—allegedly, never to be found—yet is this purposeful, for Amos 9:11-12 is used by the Early Church that God would “take out from among the Gentiles a people for His Name” (Acts 15:14-19) – they are, as well, the Elect from Among the Gentiles.

The word “Church” really does not appear in the New Testament but “Elect” repeatedly does.  Thus, God’s Elect includes today’s Christians—who would have thought God’s plan was and still is to literally bring together both Jew and Gentile—into One Body, One New Man, a New Creation—ONE OLIVE TREE – ONE STICK – the Stick of Judah (the Jews) and the Stick of Joseph, which is the Stick of Ephraim (the elect from among the Gentiles – the “lost sheep of the House of Israel”) and join them into the “Commonwealth of Israel."

Hosea captures the prophetic impact of those "Called out (elect) from among the Gentiles" - you will recognize of whom He speaks; to wit:

"Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; then I will say to those who were not My people, you are My people!' And they shall say, 'You are my God'" AND "Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king.  They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days . . . Israel (Ephraim) is swallowed up; now they are among the Gentiles like a vessel in which is no pleasure.  For they have gone up to Assyria, like a wild donkey alone by itself; Ephraim has hired lovers. Yes, though they have hired among the nations, now I will gather them, and they shall sorrow a little, because of the burden of the king of princes . . . Ephraim has encircled Me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit; but Judah still walks with God, even with the Holy One who is faithful . . .  I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes . . . Ephraim shall say, 'What have I to do anymore with idols?' I have heard and observed him.  I am like a green cypress tree; your fruit is found in Me.'  Who is wise?  Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them." (Hosea 2:23; 3:5; 8:8-10; 11:12; 13:14; 14:8-9)

When we, therefore, consider the distribution of these 6,000 years there is bound to be a most glorious discovery therein; for from the Siege of Jerusalem under King Nebuchadnezzar in 607 BC which marks the commencement of Judah's 70-year Captivity--so it appears that "judgment must begin at the House of God first" (1 Peter 4:17), but in that judging by the Almighty, He does so as the Sun of Righteousness with "healing in His wings" (Mal. 4:2) to bring His people back to Himself--this is none other than God Himself measuring His people . . .

(1)   3,368 Years (from Adam’s Creation to the 70-Years Captivity 3975-607 BC

(2)   2,632 Years (from the Captivity in 607 BC) or 607 BC to 2025 AD

As factors, we discover:

(1)   3 * 3 * 6 * 8 = 432 (The sun’s Radius at 432,000 miles)

(2)  2 * 6 * 3 * 2 = 72 (considered the “Name of God” for 72 X 2 = 144)

(3)  TOGETHER:  432 + 72 = 504 ÷ 2 – 252 (the “Measurement of God” – the Sacred Cubit of 25.20 inches.

(4)  432 ÷ 72 = 6 as in 6,000 years allotted to man whose number is “6” for in 6 days he was created on the sixth day.

(5)  Finally: (432 & 72) = 4 * 3 * 2 * 7 * 2 = “336” seen as “33” and “6”  - Messiah was cut off in 33 AD on His 33rd birthday, having been born on a Passover, he was “cut off” on Passover – for He came into the world to bear our sins in His own Body on the Tree – yes, “but not for Himself” (Dan. 9:26) but for us and our salvation (Man’s Number is “6”) – so 33…6 . . . this is the “measure of a man” – a “heavenly man” (“of an angel”) – Revelation 21:17 – “Then he measured its wall one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.”  Indeed:  3 * 3 * 6 = 54 for it reflects the 5040 ÷ 2 = 2520…oh, and can you see a "slight resemblance" of the "252" in the year 2025 (a bit of a "transposition issue" there but still, two sets of 2 and one 5!

One Further Consideration:

A good friend of mine has looked at these years of Judah's captivity and has come up with additional considerations:

I've been thinking about any connection between the 70 year captivity of Judah to Babylon and the 70 years since Israel was born again in 1948....I think I have something.  For some reason...Maybe just the Holy Spirit directing me to it...I was thinking about Enoch. He is called the "Seventh from Adam." Enoch lived 365 years and was no more. The number set of 365, we all know, is the number of days in a year. So I multiplied 365*7 and got 2555 years.  If we use the beginning of Judah's captivity as 608 BC and add 2555 years to it, it comes out to exactly 1948! The end of Judah's captivity was 538/537 BC Darius/Cyrus). Again, 538 + 2555 years coms to 2018 AD - 70 years between 608 BC and 538 BC...and 70 years between 1948 AD and 2018 AD. Both sets separated by this 2555 years. (Source: David Schrodt)
Furthermore, and as is my want - additional calculations concerning these Persian Kings and their dates continue to yield some amazing results which MAY lead to some significant changes in our thinking of the 490 years of Daniel's 70 Weeks (as in 7 years = 1 week, therefore, 70 weeks X 7 years = 490 years) . . .
Out of nowhere, God raised up both Ezra and Nehemiah to accomplish His will and in cooperation with the wholehearted support of the Gentile Kings of Persia - they were totally compliant.  I discovered four separate watershed dates in the decrees - 537 BC (Cyrus' initial Decree - Ezra 1:1-3); 520 BC (Darius II, Artaxerxes the Great - Husband to Queen Esther/Hadassah - Ezra 4:24; 6:1-12--in the 2nd year of his reign); 458 BC (King Artaxerxes I Longimanus - Ezra 7:8-28--in the 7th Year of his reign); 445 BC (King Artaxerxes I Longimanus - Nehemiah 2:1-8 - in the 20th Year of his reign) - in the final analysis - none of these decrees had anything to do with the building of the City of Jerusalem aside from the Temple itself and its beautification and ultimately her walls.  I discovered a most delightful series of calculations which may or may not be of any merit; however, it MAY be a major breakthrough in the dates when this or that starts to arrive at the 490 years, etc. - because this is the discovery:
(1)  537 BC - Cyrus Decree - First year of his reign (Reign:  537-530 BC - 7 Years)
(2)  520 BC - Darius II, Artaxerxes the Great Decree - 2nd Year of his reign (Reign: 521-485 BC - 36 Years))
(3)  458 BC - Artaxerxes I Longimanus Decree - 7th Year of his reign (Reign:  465-425 BC - 40 Years)
(4)  445 BC - Artaxerxes I Longimanus Decree - 20th Year of his reign (Reign: 465-425 BC - 40 Years))
Add all these incredible dates together = 1,960 and divide by 4 to secure their "average" = 490 = 1 Epic Jubilee Cycle or 7 X 70 = 490 = to the years of the 70 Weeks prophecy of Daniel or 490 years.
I ascertained the dates of the Kings of Persia before I discovered this - it's truly quite amazing, isn't it? These dates were thoroughly researched both by Persian authorities, as well as by Wikipedia and even, though they may hate to admit it, Jewish authorities, as per their own historical research, even though the Seder Olam Rabbah omits nigh 8 of the 13/14 Kings of Persia from Darius I unto Artaxerxes V who was slain by Alexander the Great in 329 BC.
Likewise - by taking the years of the reigns of these three kings (utilizing the third king, Artaxerxes I Longimanus twice @ 40 years) as FACTORS it produces a most unusual product in that we find:
7 years, 36 years, 40 years, 40 years or 7 X 3 X 6 X 4 X 4 = 2,016 or "216" - this number set is a fractal of the Moon's diameter or 2160 miles (216) which, when squared gives us:  2160 X 4 (placing a square around the Moon) = 8,064 miles or the "864" of the Sun's diameter of 864,000 miles.  I could go far more into these elaborate number sets and of the Woman of Revelation 12 who is clothed with the Sun and stands atop the Moon with the Garland of twelve constellations atop her head as a wreath of victory with each constellation bearing 2,160 years in the so-called Great Precessional of the Equinoxes or 12 X 2160 (triple the foursquare of the Moon) = 25,920 years, etc.
How these Persian Decrees fit into this masterpiece is beyond me!  Likewise, it appears that from the 537 BC Decree of Cyrus the Great unto the finality of the building of the Wall under Nehemiah's governorship unto the 32nd year of the reign of Artaxerxes I Longimanus (Nehemiah 5:14) in 433 BC there were some 104 years (537 less 433 = 104).  By eliminating zero we arrive at "14" which is the number for Kingship (three sets of "14" in Matthew 1:17) - but you tell me if God's Almighty measurements are not astounding us all for if we take 14 X 360 (for 360 degrees is the expression of the Eternal God in the circle and of Earth's orbit around her sun) - we will arrive at this:
14 X 360 = 5,040 - divided by 2 = 2520 which is the fractal of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit's dimension of 25.20 inches!  David Flynn had discovered that the perimeter of Solomon's Temple Complex measured 5,040 feet and 5040 is a major number set among the ancients, having a factorial 7! (i.e., 1x2x3x4x5x6x7 = 5040).  Plato was so obsessed with this number set in his "Laws" that he incorporated it into virtually all matter of society and state--read up on it, most amazing.   He remarks that this number can be divided by all the (natural) numbers from 1 to 12 with the single exception of 11 (however, it is not the smallest number to have this property; 2520 is).  Amazing, isn't it that "11" is "odd man out" and the 11th Horn, Judas making the number of the Apostles "11" - and the "11 sons of Canaan and Haman and his 10 sons makes "11" but . . .
One other tidbit of info. here - it appears by Nehemiah's recording that the Wall and his governorship extended to the 32nd year of the reign of Artaxerxes I Logimanus - therefore, the 104 years from 537 BC unto 433 BC or 104 years from the start of Cyrus the Great's Decree unto the 32nd year of the Reign of King Artaxerxes I Longimanus in 433 BC and the completion of the Wall.
Nevertheless, it states that the wall was completed in "fifty-two days" on the "twenty-fifth day of Elul" (Nehemiah 6:15) - so, the question is: Why did Nehemiah add in this little tidbit? Perhaps this: 52 days X 2 = 104 years/2 = 52 years - if we count 52 years from 537 BC when Cyrus the Great made his initial Decree and subtract from 537 BC the 52 years to arrive at the half-way mark we arrive at the year 485 BC which is the final year of the reign of Darius II, Artaxerxes the Great, the husband to Queen Esther! Likewise, if we use the 433 BC date and the 52 days as factors we find that God Almighty may be totally engaged here - do you think? As in 4 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 2 = 360.  Moreover, if we simply take 52 and 25 (the twenty-fifth day of Elul) and add them together we arrive at 52 + 25 = 77 (double fulfillment of perfection).

NOTE:  Assisting my research has been the outstanding work done by the late J. R. Church of Prophecy in the News.  This author is deeply grateful, as well,  for the incredible work of Bishop James Ussher (cir. 1600s) and his text:  The Annals of the World, pages 117-234.  Moreover, several other works are listed as footnotes to the rather rambling research done on these Medo-Persian Kings.[20]

The largest of Egyptian pyramids took an estimated 23 years to complete and, at a height of over 450 feet, remained the tallest structure in the world for nearly 4,000 years. The average weight of the 2.3 million blocks required for its construction was seven tons.” (Retrieved on 04.21.2017 @ HISTORY: “Egypt’s Oldest Papyri Detail Great Pyramid Construction, by Christopher Klein, July 19, 2016:
